The Autumn Harvest ~ Free Entry Guild Event!
Note to mods: If I have misplaced the invitation thread for this event, please move the thread and let me know, I will not have a problem. I could not find a forum for events, therefore I posted this in the forum for the last one I made.
The halls of the castle are always well-lit, what with torches illuminating the halls, and windows keeping the cheeriness in the chambers and rooms. It was a reasonably foggy, clouded dawn that morning, but it was after all Autumn, by the sea. The village had, due to the ever-helpful alliance members, achieved in creating a purely amazing harvest of all imaginable crops. Potatoes, Corn, Wheat, Barley, Apples, Raspberries, Krytan Gerengi, and a bounteous amount of livestock.
A feast to celebrate the new alliances and the excellent harvest was immediately called for by the castle Lord, Kivan Longshaft, the protector of Tyria and a ranger by training.
The noble herald was summoned, and Kivan began to name and describe a full agenda, plus the invitation message.
"Firstly, the agenda. It shall be nothing less than the best of all games we have ever created at Pellenor Castle.
To start, we naturally must have a short dancing party while we wait for the other guests. This will be directly after the food and shall also mark the beginning of drink serving.
When we have waited awhile for late guests to arrive, we shall begin the games, starting with the classic of Rock Paper Scissors. The winner of this ancient game, begun by the Mad King Thorn, shall be given two platinum.
Next, we shall have a game of Tag using the "Trayde" magic which we discovered in past events, and is not hard to teach. The final man to be changed into an "It" will be given a sum of gold equal to 2 platinum.
And afterwards I shall call in a fearsome creature, a MIME (Marginally Insane Man of Evil)! This evil denizen of horrors will begin making motions (emotes) which the guests therefore will be forced to copy, or the mime will strike them down! To the last man (or fair maiden) standing, I shall bequeath a sum of gold, equal to two platinum.
Next, there will be celebrations of music, in which the guests will divide into two equal teams, and the one who can set up the right musical instruments within their team first will have the sum of FOUR platinum divided equally among them!
Lastly, there will be a final game of something we call: "Murder". I will whisper to a certain number of guests, who will all be sitting in a circle, and the ones I whisper to are murderers. Those murderers can then whisper to another guest, and that person will then die, and be out of the circle. Further rules to this game, including how to win, shall be included upon the beginning of the game. Each time a guest wins, the guest is given a free drink!
Which, speaking of drinks, the harvest has brought an innumerable supply of hops and barley, which has been made into an excellent supply of ales! There will be a total of five score (one hundred) drinks available, first three are on the Castle! Of course, that doesn't mean you can't bring your own in case supply runs low! Ale Hounds all, take note!
Even with the death of my fiance', I still wish to celebrate this event in the full spirit of the season, please accept the invitation, and arrive at Pellenor Castle on October the 14th (Saturday), at 3:00 USA/Canada Mountain time, P.M. (afternoon). (If you need a guest invite for the event, please PM the guild lord, Kivan Longshaft, his forum account (SpitfireIXA), or post in this thread with your IGN included)
Cordially and expectantly signed,
~Kivan Longshaft, Leader of the Paladins of Pellenor [PoP] guild, Friend of the Luxons, Protector of Tyria, and Lord of Pellenor Castle."
