To the Forge - a short narrative
Here's a short narrative I just wrote from total boredom (and internet being out :P) about my warrior.
Quote:
Shinto charged into the fray of oncoming warriors, shield held up high. He knocked down the first to slash at his mail, and then proceeded to crack the dwarf’s skull in with the broad side of the axe. Rendering the enemy elementalist unconscious, the spiked elbow of Shinto’s armor proved to be a formidable executioner.
A full battalion of dwarven axemen who had caught eye of Shinto was headed toward him. Seeing this, Shinto cast a spell that brought upon his armor the very rocks on which he stood.
Shedding the blood from his axe, Shinto sunk his axe into one of the approaching Summit. His side exposed, a sword swung into his back and clanged against the rocky armor. Realizing the disadvantaged stance, Shinto withdrew up the hill from the four remaining Summit, threw down his shield, and took from his side a hand axe.
The summit, in their heavy armor, started up toward him. In a flash the bold warrior flung the hand axe toward the foremost Summit, who suddenly became the rearmost corpse. Only three enemies remained, and Shinto took up his shield and readied himself for the fight.
The first weapon to fly was a ram hammer, which nearly swept the warrior’s feet from beneath him. Regaining his stability, Shinto jabbed the spiked side of his axe into the hammer-wielding Summit’s chest, collapsing him into the snow.
As he drew back, a blunt side of a sword bashed into Shinto’s axe, and freed it from his hand. Armed with only a spiked shield, Shinto swung at the enemies and knocked down one Summit, but the other adjacent dwarf countered his attack and jabbed at his side.
The dwarf who had been knocked down slid down the slope and took up Shinto’s lost arms, and then proceeded to hurl the hand axe at Shinto’s torso. Barely aware, the warrior averted it with his shield; he then pinned down the adjacent dwarf with his shield, and broke its legs under his boot.
Desperate for a weapon, Shinto took the forked sword of his doomed foe and charged at the one remaining Summit. He again cast the earthen armor spell and drove the sword into the enemy’s leg, crippling and collapsing him. With one final driving slash Shinto put the dwarf out of his misery.
Triumphantly the warrior gazed sympathetically at the work of his hands–or rather–his blade. Shinto reclaimed his arms and started out onward–to Droknar’s Forge.

Thoughts? Criticisms?
*Note: For all you total GW-obsessors, this does not follow game mechanics, so please don't complain about anything like that.
