I went on in the bitter cold, running on my instincts. Everywhere i looked, enemies swarmed and encircled me. Doom was at hand. But there i saw it. The chest, that had a chance to contain what all my days have led up to. Hour after hour, my hopes would rise just to be crushed by the failure i always receive. Would that feeling end here? Would all hope rush back into me as i patiently wait for that oppurunity?

The Search for Eternal Wealth

Chapter 1 : The Faint Chest
I spotted the chest. The enemies Cleared. it was time to make the move i longed for. I dont even know why my hope is in this chest. Theres a pulse of power surging in this chest, a voice calling to me. I had only one option ; to follow that voice. I ran, sprinted to that chest, raising my shield up. I felt the heavy blow of arrows hit my shield, the crippling gaze of the enemy and the tumbling blow of the hammer. But i kept balance, kepy my shield up, and unlocked the chest. There i saw it. The Blinding light of lightning from the Stone Summit blinded me at first, but i saw it. A petty wand. My the looks of it, near rare (purple). I ran back to the Granite Citadel, hopes crushed and my spirit layed in the deepest depths of the Underworld. The 250 keys my guide gave me was down to the remaining 10 keys. I had spent all keys, and havent found the objective i needed. Then again, running in the dreaded Shiverpeak Mountains controlled by the Stone Summit has to have its reward. But that chest i encountered. The wand i found. It had to have some meaning. It must have had some calling. The faint voice, the faint sight of the wand. It all led up to something, something creepy i could not identify. I planned on finishing my remaining keys, but I hesitated before the gates of the Granite Citadel. Something was stopping me from moving forward, that faint voice. Upon opening that chest, I felt a gust of wind that no elementalist could release. When i was in the Depths of the Fissure of Woe, I was cursed with a demonic Spirit, a Spiteful Spirit. I felt a spirit come upon me, not a protective nor spiteful one, but a comforting yet intimidating spirit. Before i continued, i sought an answer, for the spirit consumed all aspects of my life.

Chapter 2 : Dark Secrets
In the Guild Hall, I spoke of this incident. They all agreed I needed to seek out the help from the gods. I took a caravan from Droknars Forge to Lions Arch, and made my way with a small band to the Temple of Ages. As i got closer, i felt weaker. Its as if the gods did not want me, rejected me. And as i walked through, countless bands of heros fled from me. I asked a Monk" Why do you run from me?" He answered in a unsteady nervous voice "y-y-y-you bear the mark of t-t-t-he...." and he fled without completing the sentence. The confusion mixed me up. I worshipped Dwayna and Baltahzar all my life, but both statues nearly knocked me down. I had no option but to flee out again. I walked back to Lions arch then met at my guild hall, were my leader meditated. As the shop entered the port, i saw him waiting on the pier. He says a dark force disturbed him upon my arrival. I ignored it, and asked him and told him about my expereince in the Temple. He had no other answer than to seek out the one i feared. The Master of Whispers, the one who knew all. But the Order of the Whisper were deep within Elona, in a secret place i would never discover.
