FavIcon for Guild Wars Guru
So I've had someone request that we do a FavIcon for Guild Wars Guru. Just wanted to post here to see if any of you fine artists and designers might be able to come up with!
It has to be saved as an icon and there are a lot of free websites out there that can do this for you. 2 questions: Whats a favicon? is it the icon that shows up on the firefox bookmark?
And: would the icon maker in MS visual studio.net 2003 be able to do this, and can it convert a image file into a .ico without having to get all complicated like? |

Text-Only Version 'Elite Guru' Medallion with the letter 'G' Shield + letter 'G' Simple Golden G Comparison of 5 FavIcons at 16x16, since prior images of mine were in 32x32; --- Edit: Removed the first 2 helmet + book + text images, as they were both awful. Also, I apologise for the colour bleeding due to quality degradation. Forgot converting to jpg did that <_< Edit: Added in a fifth again. I think the Golden 'G' would be ideal. Looking at FavIcons for other sites, the ones that grab you are simple and bright.
