It is with great satisfaction that the devs team from GuildwasPT (portuguese recognized GuildWars fansite) sends out a challenge to all the Guildwars comunity.

The purpose is to create a wallpaper referrering to this game that we love so much.
Participating in this contest is simple and free. Rules, themeselves, are also simple:

- the wallpaper can not have smaller dimensions than 1024x768 px and must correspond to usual screen dimensions (1280x800, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, etc.);
- it must have something to do with GuildWars, wether it is Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall (from that point on, its up to you and your imagination);
- with will have to be original (obviously);
- it must not have the game logo nor the name of the author in the wallpaper itself (attention: special effects that you might want to do with the logo of the game will be accepted).

This contest will have at least three winners (or more, depending on the quality of the wallpapers), and the prizes are:

- 50.000 gold coins (in-game currency);
- the personel proud and community aknowledge of having an art-work of your own exposed and available in an ArenaNet recognized fansite;

The winning wallpapers will then be exposed and available for download in the download area of the fansite www.guildwarspt.com .

Send your wallpaper propositions to [email protected] , along with your ingame-name on the e-mail.

The limit for sending your propositions is up until January 15th 2007 and the winners will be announced until the end of January 2007, here on this forum, on the portuguese fansite and in its forum.
