S'all good. Everything you say is solid and it's not like I was the first to solo these by any stretch. I just made a video to make it easier for more people.
Thanks for your posts. It allows me to be lazy.

With the addition of the ICE Golem this farming has been NURFED.
I dont believe anyone can do this anymore when the golem is there. Try doing all those signets under RUST, will ya?

Sorry for my crude language, but how the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO am I supposed to survive the Ice Golems? Usually they're at the back, and I try to kill them first - under a heavy fire from 10+ imps. And! They put Rust on me. Therefore my Healing sig takes years to cast. I can barely reach the golems due to my "slowed" pace. HOW?

I just did 2 runs and rezoned twice on the last run because it was a good spawn. I didn't have any luck in getting a IDS. The only problems(still not too hard) is when there are two Trolls. You just have to watch the skills that they use and watch for the intrupt.
The Ice golems are not that hard. The only Signet that gets slowed down is Dolyak sig. I don't even drop to a low enough health to use healing sig.
If any one want to see my armor/weapons/skills let me know I will get screen shots.
Also I always keep Watch Yourself!, Dolyak Signet, Elemental Resistance going at all times.
And Just for the record I don't need to use the Denravi Hex Helmet but if it can work for you go and get it.

Actually, I've seen drops just outside the cave (still in mineral springs tho),
if that was what he meant. Anyway, a few notes. With the correct gear and
set of skills, nothing should stop you. Not Pines, Not Giants, not Hyl Thunderwing.
If you can't run past them, put dolyak on and "walk it off". Heal if needed. Timed
correctly, you WILL survive 'em all.
Also, sometimes you get unlucky with spawn in Tasca's Demise, mainly with the
Heretics who sometimes spawns near the res shrine. Everything else can be
avoided. Anyway, if they spawn, you'll usually die. However -15% in DP really
doesn't have much to say in this run. If you don't work it off with some Avicaras,
you will once you get to the cave.
Also, with correct gear I mean get at least something with -2 while in stance.
Collector Stance shield (crimson carapace shield) at least. A shield with -2
and -3 while hexed would probably be ideal here, max armor of course.
Also, since the Golems got level up (10 -> 24) and rust, I find it alot easier
going dual. Better chance of success. Since I usually go axe warrior, I'm
mostly looking out for good sword warriors to join me. Bleeding is great. Got
several very skilled friends on my list I usually do this with. Remember, if you
go dual, only one of you needs to bring watch yourself. The other one could
instead bring another attack skill.
As mentioned Azure shadows can be a pest, but advancing slowly and taking
on a few at the time helps. Also, Disrupting Chop (20sec extra recharge when
hit) helps alot both against the azures and their SoJ and the Ice Beasts Mist
Form. If I'm ever there farming and have bought some new gear, I usually
take the time to infuse them while I'm there..
Btw, Hey again Azumi.. ^_^ Also, great video/guide Kapper.
P.S. IDS still drops, even tho there are alot of ppl saying they don't anymore.
Got one last week.

I recently did this run and found that instead of Sever Artery and Desperation Blow, I really liked Deadly Riposte and Final Thrust. Deadly Riposte, with so many points in Tactics, is used exclusively for the Mountain Trolls... but man does it help in avoiding their disrupting attacks while still inflicting them with Bleeding. Despite its limited application, the fact that it doubles as evasion against the toughest monster you actually have to fight makes Deadly Riposte a great skill to take with you. It makes really short work of the trolls!
Final Thrust is just good for ending enemies quickly. You don't need to inflict conditions on any of them but the trolls, and Deadly Riposte takes care of that.

If I may make a sugestion... Post it to Google video... The upload process is rather painless... Once its verified as not being porn or whatever it apears and streams with little effort... I have already hosted several past videos in this way on google video. You can upload it here... https://upload.video.google.com/
and here is a sample of the existing Guild Wars Videos up there...

I recently went to try my hand on getting an IDS for myself after watching the Tutorial Video, all that running really turned me off but when I actually did it, well it was very very easy.
I used the same build that he did in the video and the only part I had was the field right before the the warp into the spring field.
So I mad it to the Ice imp cave only to see all the imps outside and 2 Trolls and 1 Ice golem.. I couldent even kill 1 troll.
I failed bad but when I get another skill point im gonna grab Deadly Repose and try it again, I really want to get myself an IDS so im not gonna give up, or i'll find a partner to join me.

I use Eviscerate (Elite), Executioner's Strike and Disrupting Chop with great
effect. You could change Disrupting Chop to some else tho. Like Cyclone Axe,
allthough that one drains energy, or Penetrating Blow. But I recommend the
two first ones at least.

Nice guide and video.
For those who have asked, I use axe for farming.
Skills I found most useful here are Desperation blow, Disrupting Chop and Watch Yourself (or Executioner's Strike, depending on mood); my weapon of choice is Victos Battle Axe for the +30 HP mod, but you could swap that to sundering for extra critical damage or a Zealous grip weapon for mana regen. Other than that, I have the same build described by Kapper.
Armor is full platemail, with Denravi Helm as an extra head piece to swap out for running and Ice Golems.
Runes: sup Vigor, sub absorption and minor tactics strength and axe skill.
It works very well and I find it quicker than when I tried with sword bleeding skills (after seeing your vid, I had to try, but its not me =).
With that setup, I average 20-70 HP hits regularly against imps.
Also; Ice Golems aren’t a nerf. You just need to accept that you’ll be taking some damage while you make your way to them and that the first part of the farm will be slow and more annoying than usual. Take your time, clack away at healing signet if one gets rust off on you (when there are 2 in one group, one of them will), and use that Denravi Hex helm. Its mod makes having it very nice when golems are the flavor of the day.
Here’s how I handle 2 trolls when I’m worried about interrupts: I take it. That’s right, I spam heal sig when I DON’T need it and concentrate damage on the trolls. Often, they DO get an interrupt off on heal sig, but by the time I actually need it, one of them is dead and I can more easily watch the other…because he’s the second course! If I get lucky enough to disrupting chop their interrupt, I turn my attention on the second troll, since he’s the real threat now.
Now, Ice Golem and troll? That’s a pain! But it’s still winnable. Again, Denravi Hex helm to reduce rust time from the golem and target the troll above everything else; he’s what will kill you here.
What I really have a problem with are the nightmares and Ice Beast at the back of the cave. Getting that beast away from his friends can prove difficult, and taking them both on together is extreme. But that’s what disrupting chop is for. Mist Form is the bane of a Warrior farmer, so, knocking it out early becomes a priority.
Other than that, if the worst should happen, try to kill as many critters as you can. DP drops fast when there’s no one to share experience with, so kill Tundra Giants until you’re back up to full health and go at em boyz!
By the way, how much are these things worth now? It seems like a lot of people are still having trouble getting them and getting there. I only farm here when a guildie asks for one and I’ve nothing better to do. How much plat am I giving away?
