its not his fault if people over farm. he just gave us a very informative guide to is. he never said "go out and farm all the ids you can". people DO over farm things...but since when has it been anything different [ettin rune run, giffons, candy canes, ids etc... etc...]. so dont blame him for giving us a guide..its the people who abuse it you should blame

The build is pretty awesome. Got my IDS on my first solo run.

Then got my second IDS on the first run of another day. I also use the W/Me build to farm Hydras.

Very awesome video Kapper and build too.

I didn't noticed any Ice Golems on your video, but when I'm there they are always there.
It to hard when they are there because the put that nasty Rust on you, and it takes like forever to use Healing Signet.

Has arena added this or has it always been like that?

why o why did u not zip this? download would go so much faster... i really don't feel like waiting an hour to watch ur tutorial, as great as it may be. zipping the file and reposting a download link would be greatly appreciated for the people that have slower download times.

Phantom: The reason it isn't zipped is that WMV videos are already amazingly compressed.

WMV Video: 145,922KB
In Zip Format: 144,448KB

For such a minor compression it seems more annoying than helpful to put it in zip format. I know most of use zip and rar frequently, but there are a surprisingly high number of people who don't even know what to do with such files. Plus the time saved in download is lost in uncompressing it so I didn't bother.

And Madman: When wintersday ended the ice golems went from level 10 to 24. I've gone back to the cave a handful of times to see and it's still doable but it is a few notches more challenging when you have an ice golem in the pack now.

me and some of my guid 3 of us realy we each got about 15 to 25 a piece
i've had 2 drop twice any body ever had 3 drop on one run.

I was under the impression icys only dropped from the imps in Mineral Springs, so have never tried outside Grotto, no. Let us know if you get a drop there. It would sure make it a lot faster! I haven't done icy runs in a while, though. I wound up getting 4. I sold 3 and kept one cuz it's purty.

I suppose you could have some success using Armor of Earth or such rather than Elemental Resistance. But why? Have you not done the mesmer secondary quest?

The lieutenants helm can be crafted at the Armorer in Henge of Denravi. I only use the helm when I have to run past the Ele Avicara boss, in case he is able to cast Iron Mist on me.. But other than that I use my other helm for the armor..
