Metal Hurlant's entry is by far the best. Very surreal and almost abstract in some aspects, though one can clearly see what is being portraid. His excellent use of colour and lighting made him achieve his desired scary atmosphere. Lovely contrast and awesome composition with a complex and detailed background, which still gives way to the focul point of the artwork.
Excellent work man! I truley hope you turn out a winner!

Isnt this what the thread is about? Looking at the entries and giving your comments and opinions? I am an artist of sort, and personally, i find yours the best and most proffesional. And if the admins think were the same person, then they can go look in the admin control panel and see that i have a South African IP address and therefore i cant be you...

I emailed mine just now. I couldn't load the forum for some reason and I was stupid and didn't write down your email address. I hope I'm not too late.

My entry.
Not my best work but I spent too much time on the body and ended up neglecting the rest.
Inspired by the mural in the Moon Fortress.

Typical artist complaining about their artwork. :P
The colouring is wonderful, it looks great you dummy. But the sign of a good artist is one which is never happy about how any of their work looks.
I'd kill to be able to make a picture like that.

Raven, i really like the " oh no, not again another war stupid humans" looks he have...
I agree with rtsfirebat, if ONE day you are satisfied more than 30 min by your work, you're not really an artist

Great work as always, you have such a unique and confident style. You can always look at one of your images and say: "that's a hurlant"

If I didn't know better i'd say it was made by ANets art team. Since the style is so familiar.

People will often draw a naked god/goddess because that is the natural form of all life - naked. Dogs walk around naked, the plants live naked, so forth and so on.
So naturally people (for the most part...) will draw and see things in a pure form, a pure form is being nude.
But, all of these drawings are fantastic (again, for the most part). You all have really out done your selves on this.

Announcement Date
16 February
5pm GMT
Recently my inbox suddenly filled with a large number of entries. As such the announcement date for the winner will be in little over 2 weeks. I wish to give each piece the attention it deserves rather than rushing through them.
Note: There are two entries I will be adding as soon as one entrant gives me there forum and and as soon as ravensong send me her darker version of Balthazar which she seems to have mistakenly forgot to put in the email. XD
Edit: Throw your previous opinions out the window. The entries i've seen certainly pose an interesting match up to all the previous entries.

I don't want to see persay the god of the dead/undead's nakedness or a god of warriors because "bigger the toy, smaller the boy" comes to mind...he'd be ashamed.
