Geez, greyfox, that's...that's quite morbid and as such you fit the Abbadon theme quite nicely, in a very twisted sort of way.
I dunno, though, about Kormir's position. I mean you can really see the poser influence there, and the program tends to make figures appear stiff and unnatural. For example, being suspended by the wrists wouldn't cause you to start doing the iron cross with your arms straight out in diagonals like that, it'd cause her, at least by the idea of the picture, to be weak and slump, with the arms angled higher and the body lower, and the legs wouldn't be in perfect diagonals and symmetric either, she'd probably favor a side, rather than be so rigid. Just my opinion, though.

Wow, lots of nice art around!
I've finished my first entry, myself. Had a pretty busy week so I'll probably only be able to finish one other.
Anyway, here it is: Dwayna and Grenth
Critics welcome!

YIPES! I've dropped out of the contest (If anyone noticed and/or cared). Not only is my art not cutting it, but I also have an art project for class that needs to be done.
Have fun with the contest, peeps! Good luck to all of you! Keep up the great work!

All hail lord Abaddon!
[EDIT]
Was just re-reading the first page, and came across the following rules:
Quote:
# Entries will be judged by me. Top 25 entries will be placed into a poll for community judging.
# The Top 25 will consist of 25 different entries made by 25 different entrants. (For the sake of fairness.)
|
Just so I fully understand, you will act as the primary judge, and decide upon the main winner (who takes the prize) and then there will be a community poll to decide the placings of the rest, correct? Also, if someone has submitted multiple entries, and the community poll will be limited to one per entrant, how will the pieces for the poll be chosen.

I've already been asked by a good friend to finish the Lyssa picture. I won't be doing it for the contest, but I will submit the final to this Forum when I complete it if I remember. Thanks for the compliment, dude! ^_^

Thank you Kai, I'll definitely have mine finished by then.
The calibre of work here is excellent! I'm continually impressed by the art people are posting.

A little while back I posted saying that I would judge the winner for myself. Since polls are very commonly prone to sabotage by people being friends of the artists rather than serious voters.

True enough, and that's how I thought it was going to work. So, have you scrapped the idea of a vote completely then? I just think it would be a bit of a shame to only highlight one winner out of all the great work that's been submitted. Even if there is only one prize up for grabs, I think having placings would be good fun. At least that way, you have 1 winner, and lots of runners up, all of whom can see how they fared against the other entrants. Instead of having just the one winner, and everyone else being losers >_>

Fox I already have plans for the contest announcement. But you'll just have to wait and see. After all, its no fun if I let everything out of the bag.

Just wanted to say, that this is probably my favorite sketch in the competition so far. If this was given a nice full painting, I reckon you could have easily knocked Nith off the top spot >_>
