if the worst comes to it, you could always go for the tried and tested "leaf bra" approach

I've seen your other drawings, should be able to do so, but try this:
1 hour to choose a god, 1 hour to choose a pose, rest of the time to work it out

Good luck to everyone in this final stretch of the contest.
i've recently made a decision that the final vote will be decided by myself not by poll. I do not know any of the contestants personally so my judgements will be completely unbias.
I will judge the pieces individually based on how well the style has been used and effort made. Along with other critieria that shall not be specified.
I decided on this because a poll would be a futile method of judging. Since each piece is made in a different style using a different method. Its unfair to compare them in such a manner, it would be like comparing the wind and water they are very different things.
I hope everyone understands I have made this decision as a matter of fairness for each contestant and piece of art.

Greetings everyone! I like the theme and the entries I've seen so far, so I thought I'd put up my own unfinished entries for you to see!
Now, call me crazy, but I've decided to complete four entries.
So here are the rough sketches I've done (I reduced them so it would be easier to see than at the size I work with them.)
First off, we have Balthazar hammering away at his sword on anvil rock. (I didn't have enough space on my page to draw the hammer, i'll add that in later)
Next, Dwayna and Grenth will be put in the same drawing. Don't worry, I'll find something to cover up Dwayna with.
Now for Lyssa, I'm basically going to...well, you'll see. It's hard to explain anyway.
Last but not least, Melandru holding a gi-normous bow. I can picture Echovald (pre-jade wind) in the background.
Well there you go, I hope they all meet the criteria, and that I'll be able to actually finish em all.
Good luck to all!

@The Thing: Your art is fine with me. Considering the number of your entries I won't mind granting you an extra time after the closing date if you require it.

Just wondering how that would work? Would it be a personal extension or an extension for the contest as a whole. If it's the former, it seems a little unfair, if it's the latter, I think it would be nice to know as soon as possible, so people can make decisisons on how many pieces they can finish.
Personally, I think that the 2-3 months we've had is plenty long enough ^^

Nice sketches, would love to check em when worked out...
You know participating in the contest is a win win for me If I don't win someone with a better drawing wins = I can learn from it = also good for me
As for the time... I'm working on a black/white worked out drawing right now... but entering more...might take a bit more time...
But Imo, finishing a painting/drawing can be done in 3 days... so there shouldn't be need to make the deadline later..

I offer extensions to those who need them. Of course it is only a 24 hour extension.

As with your earlier Lyssa drawing, I think it's very good I like the general perspective, and idea of balthazar sitting atop his thrown. I really can't see too many flaws in it to be honest. I'm eager to see how it will come out coloured ^^

I like the the angle you've taken on it. It reminds me of the Norse gods. Specifically Thor.

Ill offer some critical comments on that one make use of it
The hands are too small (especially left one), the right hand should be a bit more to the right so it actually grabs the swordpommel instead of grabbing air.. also, from the point of view u have taken I would make the knees a little bigger and higher, and give him big shoes
This picture definately has a winning potential though now some stormy background
Good luck on it (I was in doubt for a short moment, give advise or try to win myself :P guess the good in me always wins ^^)
