STARNEWS23 Episode 4: Eight Minutes of Censored Minipet Jokes
HAPPYcat Productions presents episode four of STARNEWS23, titled Eight Minutes of Censored Minipet Jokes!

This episode is part four in a series of undetermined length, and features, as did the last episode, a few new ideas I haven't tried before. Being said, feedback on the following would be greatly appreciated:- Swearing and censorship. Based on feedback in the past, I've toned down swearing, but now I'm trying out the idea of bleeping swears out as well. Does it work? Does it not work? There's a poll on the front-page of STARNEWS23.com regarding this, so if you want you can just vote there.
- Fiction! There's two stories in this episode that actually didn't ever happen. This was the original goal of STARNEWS23, but then ArenaNet started hosting weekly festivals (Canthan New Year, Wintersday, and pretty much everything else I've covered in the past year and a half). So, the obvious question here is do you guys like it enough to continue doing it or should I just stick to actual happenings in the GW universe?
- The Legacy of Gwen. This one I'm hoping will be recurring, but you guys will ultimately be the deciding factor of that. Should we continue? Or should this be the only one?
And because I KNOW you guys are going to ask....
Well, that's all for this episode. Enjoy farming this weekend!

Dont tone down the swearing.
Censorship works good.
Dont add fiction, instead wait for new events, or report about funny or strange things that happen in gw.
Keep the legacy of gwen thing short, there is not much to talk about there and i fear itll just get boring...

I liked the voices although I couldn't understand much of what was said. Too fast talking, too much voice-distortion. Don't get me wrong - it works just fine and in-character, but people who don't speak english very often will have their problems understanding the dialogue.
They layout is fine, but you may want to slow down the scrolling of the text a bit, the text moves so fast that it's hard to read sometimes.
Overall, pretty good (and it features a necro, so it's got to be good! Yes, I'm a necromancer-freak/fan XD! retarded! Yes!)

Oh man, those are excellent. I just watched them all and I nearly wet myself when Stillborn was singing that christmas carol in episode 2.
Seems to be something wrong with episode 3 on myspace though, it cut out about 3/4 of the way through.

Although I enjoyed this episode my personal favorite is still episode 3. Fictional events .... I'm not feeling it mate. Censorship has never been my bag either. I don't have any criticisms other than to say ... stick with your original idea, it was fresh and funny and everone loved it, there was never a need to change it !!

Oh, I'll agree. HA is a very easy target. Anything that is taken so seriously is an easy target (take Gaile Gray and minipets for example). But on that note, any attempt to poke fun at HA would likely leave about 690% of the Asian and European GW community chasing me down with pitchforks.
Though, we here at HcP (you know... my girlfriend and I) have been tossing around a few HA-related ideas that could appear in, or out of, STARNEWS23 in the future.
