Hey, that's a pretty good drawing. I think her eyes are too huge, though.
Being a 14 year old beginner artist myself... I can sympathize with you. But I will pass on some advise that other, more experienced artists gave me - keep practicing. You'll get better.

Well, it's certainly getting there
I think the biggest suggestion I can give you is not to make to dark of outlines when drawing humans. This is especially true for drawing in graphite. When you make an outline to dark it just doesn't look natural so try and be softer around features such as the eyes and nose.

Oh I think the outlining is fine on this one It's a style on itself
I love the way you draw, hard but sketchy lines
Now some comments:
The face is non symmetrical (no face is, but usually they look a bit more symmetric), if u draw a line through the middle of the face (from top to bottom), then you will find that the nose is somewhat more to the right.
Though this may look a bit worse in the final picture, you can try to draw that line before you start placing the eyes/nose/mouth/hair. This will make it easier make a front view with symmetry.
As for the big eyes, she looks a bit surprised now. If you want a more usual look then you can draw the top line of the eye a bit more flat, showing less of the eye.
Another reason why she looks so surprised is because her eyebrows are placed so high.
You definately have potential!
keep it up

I am a 12 yrs old and I have such hi-rank in this forum (Wilds Pathfinder, Started Feb) and I already have made 11 CCs^^.
Also I have done some work myself but the only thing I do is color but my drawings, I have never showed it in the net yet^^.
Until, when I'll get a Scanner.
Okay going to the topic^^.
hhhmmm, Try taking some Art Class^^.
Fix the eyes try using the Guide Lines, Try adding a Cross on the face use the Horizontal Line guide for the Eyes and and both the Vertical and Horizontal Lines Guide the Nose.

If you're just 14 and you took a crayon a piece of paper and drew this, Kudos.
You've got some talent, so no way you should let it go to waste.
Keep on drawing, and most important of all, have fun.

Thanks Most people say "Good" or "Kudos", but you actually critiqued it (there were others too)
And yes i realy screwed up on the symmetry. I posted this thread late (for me), and after it found a better sketch. Maybe I'll post it up!
Anyways, thanks to everyone who commented.

just keep practicing and you'll keep on getting better, try to listen to mistical miss's pointers, shes one of the best artists on this forum.
If you want some guides as to help drawing theres a lot of nice stuff at deviantart.com
It helps if you look at others works too, it can help a lot in some cases

Yay another drawing
Nice nose
The right eye looks a bit off, it should have its pupil more to the left.
The lips should have been draw a bit less like from the side, and a bit more like from the front (though not totally from the front ofcourse)
Much better symmetry on this one
And as for shadowsrequiem, I'm not one of the better artists, but one of the few who criticizes in public.

Well, before this thread goes into the section of long lost and forgotten threads, I figured I'd post something I've worked on. The other 2 drawings took 5-15 mins. This one(all though still not good) took more time. It was a comission for my aunt(my first and only commison, as no one else would want one lol)
Anyways, here it is:

PS the weapons aren't supposed to be physically there, I just added them, thaught it looked cool, and there pretty ugly, i didnt have a ruler for the sword

The face is really good the eyes may be a bit too far in the face, but I'm not sure.
The sword is indeed a bit erm.. ugly ^^
It seems that putting time in things pays off

The face was my focus And the character its based off of has widely spaced eyes and a smallish nose...
As for the weapons I clearly suck at drawing them haha
