"Of course, Lee. I remember that one....The Krytan prince was taken by him wasn't he? I was put on that case you know. Probably what saved you. Anyway, the man's name is Gernus Benton, he's been stirring up trouble and my 'brother' Kratos thought it'd be a good idea if someone took a around down here. Same rules as all the other jobs I've been present for go then? Need a rowdy distraction or something, give the signal. Other than that, I think it's a good idea to mingle. I'll see is the Ascalon Ale can match up to what I've been raised with.....Remember, Maguuma Lives," Throrin whispered back, then said louder, " Always good to hear a friend is doing good. Remember to stay near me on the raiding field, always good to have a REAL weapon, not those tiny things you call daggers. Now where are we going?"
Throrin kept following the ranger for a few more minutes with Griel, then stopped. Turning, he noticed a monk. He was dressed in a very intricate robe, very obviously Canthan. He wondered if he knew anything about why either him or Griel was in this hole, then dismissed the thought and ran after his friend. They were both there to accomplish the same job...almost. There was some royalty hidden within this camp and if his brother was to launch his takeover or Ascalon, all who had a bloodright to the throne had to be 'dealt' with.

((OOC - Okay, a few points to make here:
- I'm afraid Doug's right; we have quite a few people in now, and any more would make things a bit too hectic, especially since everyone is in the introductary stage. So, sorry but anyone else wanting to join will have to hold off for now.
- Dro-Ridley, please try to stick to either first or third-person tense. You're mixing both and it can get a bit confusing (what with your 3 characters and all).
- Miho, in your last paragraph you're bordering on controlling Dro-Ridley's character. That's fine if you talked to him about it beforehand, but if not please try to refrain from doing this.))
IC: Ivy looked back to see the shrouded man and the dwarf whispering amongst themselves. She stumbled upon the first steps of a descending staircase with a low yelp and leaped down the stairs to avoid tripping down. She landed softly in a crouch, feline, like; only to hear a deep voice chuckle, "Well, aren't you an eager lass!" The source was a huge bear of a man clad in heavy platemail, blackened to reduce shine. He peered at her from between long golden tresses with a single gray eye, the other sporting a huge scar underneath an eyepatch. Behind the warrior, a young squire gazed shyly at the ranger, holding onto a sword almost as tall as him.
Around them, the large square hall echoed the clanking of a few passing soldiers. If the barracks were always this empty, it was no surprise that they needed outsiders to recruit. The huge man spoke again, "So let us speak of your abilities. What is it you do aside from gracefully jumping down stairways?" Ivy patted the bow near her shoulder, "I shoot stuff and make it dead." The warrior grinned, "Short and to the point. Good, good."

(im going to stick to First person because its easiest for me specialy because ive never done this before that and also I dont mind Miho taking a little control of my character for a little bit. As long as it fits the story line and sounds good. Besides Ill talk to her some time and we can do somthing nice.)

My name is Miho, Miho Hyroshi. I am a servant of Grenth. May I ask you who you are
|
Hm could she be telling the truth or is she a evil spirit. I sensed her powers but some how I knew she was scared to... she had to be human.
"Hello dear women," I think she wont bit... "The names Kraid, Kraid Maelwaedd, In elona I was well know as The Questus of Grenth's Rectus Manus," He laughed in his cold biserker way "I can tell that you're confused it's old text it means The Profit of Grenth's Right Hand."
I watched her come closer then I explained what I used to do "I use to be a judge, for my god on earth, by sending the unworthy to Grenth's judgment himself," I woundered her next reaction would be then I relized that she had a scar that only ment she had true attunment to grenth. So maby she is higher then a servant. I decided that Id show her the town since she didn't attack him, "Alright come with me my friend and i'll get you food, water, and a roof over your head." He took his scythe to his Shoulder and lead her to the town.

Azrael Wyvern was walking down the long narrow passage way when he saw an omen. A rat ran past with a shiny gold piece and ran into a hole. I think that was a bad omen. As a child Azrael was very superstitious. Hm I think one of these people are a rat. He knew how to read a omen wich was taut to him by his mother.
Alright so now I need to find the rat before some one get hurt or worse. Last thing I want is to see my highered man getting killed before the payoff. Otherwise he wouldn't care if he was thrown of a cliff. Maby its the guy with the bad hair due. That ugly haired man was talking to that small man, but he couldnt hear him.
Alright Im going to show this assassin what im capable of... Maby I should start by blowing him up a air vent... no to messy. Ill catch him during the battle and teach him not to mess with are boss or maby somthing much worse. Break some bones so he never be a problem again. After a long thought I had a plan so evil he could declare myself pure evil. He chuckled to himself but his humor was short lived when he heard the captain, "Azrael stop day dreaming and do your job," he had that anouing look on his face again "What dont you rember your my body guard start guarding now."
I wasn't imbarest I answered "A dream lies in many forms," I sat down and started drinking a bottle of water. Then I started fixing my staff so it be more strait. It started making a odd sound that was very anouing to every one the captain reply was "Knock it off and get in line with rest of these guys, im going to start role call soon." I finished off my weapon tunning by using my Air magic with water magic to make wind and sent it flying. It went flying everyware people lost there helmts, shields, and basicly and thing that wasn't stationed on the floor. The small dwarven looking mans cap was riped right from his back. The only person that was lifted off the floor was a squire. He went flying into a barrel of ale. All I could say was "oops."

First I want to apoligize to Dro-Ridley Wyvern for bordering on controlling his character. I edited my post a bit so it no longer controls his character
Secondly, me and Dro-Ridley Wyvern are working on a great post! We are working via private messages, so it is a bit slow. Besides this, we live on the other side of the world with different timezones, which does not help either. But I hope it will work out to a smooth, nice post. I am not going to spoil the thema or event that will occur, but it will be awesome

'Kraid Maelwaedd' Miho wispered to herself.
At least she knew his name now and that he originaly came from Elona, the lands of the golden sun. It was almost for sure that this man was a holy warrior and it would explain the fact that Kraid could sense her dark powers. But the title the man gave at the end of his sentence overwhelmed Miho. She could only understand Grenth in the title 'The Questus of Grenth's Rectus Manus.' She guessed it was latin, but she could not know. Miho had never studied latin. The explanation Kraid gave was therefor more then welcome.

Miho Hyroshi was indeed confused and was also surprised that Kraid could read that from her scarred face. This title explained even more then his country of origin.
'The Prophet of Grenth's Right Hand,' Miho thought. 'No wonder I could not sense his divine powers! This man has only unholy powers, like myself. He is a Unholy warrior.'
A new idea came up in her mind:
'If I could make this man my ally, then I have someone who may help me complete my assignement from Grenth. He is a prophet of Grenth, so he should understand my visions.'
Kraid Maelwaedd stood still a few steps away from Miho. He seemed to study her face, which was not fully healed yet. Miho turned away her face so the scar became invisible for the man. Kraid started to speak again:

'My friend?' Miho replied. 'I wish I could always make friends this fast!'
Kraid did not reply but he took his scythe to his shoulder and leaded her to a town. The town was pretty nearby. A sign with "Benton's Mound" on it showed Miho Hyroshi the name of the town. Miho and Kraid were soon enough inside after a few formalities at a well hidden gate with some townguards.
Once inside Miho had the feeling that Kraid was wellknown in Benton's Mound. Folks passing by were greeting Kraid, but said nothing to Miho. It was like she did not exist in their eyes. But Miho knew better. People did not want to get in contact with her, because they were frightened by her presence.
'Humans are almost the same as fleeing creatures after a battle. After you slayed one of them, they ignore you. But humans know when to ignore someone, before one of them needs to be slayed. This is the only difference between humans and creatures.' Miho thought to herself. 'I hope Kraid knows a good inn in this ants nest.'
Miho kept following Kraid through the town...

(Out of thought ummm what is the light source down here in the catacombs any ways?)
We finaly hit the town. Miho was still behind me. She was quit nice looking once you get her into some light. She wasn't pale like other necromancers I knew. I was about to go into The Gold Devourer. The best inn in town wich isn't saying much.
Until some one called my name. It was that dang group of punks again. Markis and his "gang" had come to pick a fight with him. Markis said in his anouing kind of weasel voice, "Kraid Maelwaedd we challenge you to a fight for that scythe of yours." My scythe is a Ornate Scythe given to me by my family. My family was killed by a giant wurm while going to the Temple of Grenth in Lornar's Pass. I luckly survived by using this scythe to mow down any thing that got in my way. This caused my mind to change more maturely at a early age. After long years of training I was able to find a way to get revenge for his parents. You see the creature that killed my parents was no other then Maw the Moutain Heart. This beast was nearly imposable to hunt down. So I had a plan to get him to come all the way to this town by a means that was declaired traitorist but, he will not do this until the time was right. He was going to have his nephiew and son help to kill him first. Unfortently his nephiew was capture before he could do it. His son was about to go on a raid that only Grenth knew where.
Markis has asked for his own distruction because now he was angry. Markis kept talking "Well we want the scythe now hand it over or well beat you to a pulp," he looked at his group for moral support and then said, "Every one talks about how powerful you are but, any one who askes for a fight never get one. I think your nothing but a conartist trying to earn money threw just intimidation. Well I think its time for us to fin-."
That second I struck them. I punched them all in the stomachs. While he was talking I enchanted my self with my usual spells. Grenths Finger's and Grenth's Grasp. They all screamed then in panic they tried to run away but they couldn't. Then I explained to them what my attack just did, "I just used Grenth's Grasp on you." I smiled to my self and started explaing it to them, "you see this powerfull spell makes you parlized and so you can't move," I laughed in my trymuphiant win even thow it was a small one and then I said, "You're lucky im not going to kill you today. You want to know why. Well look behind me. You see that women." They all nodded at my gesture then I said, "I dislike killing people in front of them they fine it grotesque but, this one may want to make minions out of you, so be gone with you and your friends." I let them go from my spell they were starting to flee slowly then I turned around and said, "boo!" they ran like the cowards they were. I turned around and looked to see Miho watching then I said to her, "Here is some gold to get you a room for one night here at The Golden Devourer," and with that he left her for towns bar.
(I would like to say that the actual skill Grenth's Grasp doesnt parlized them it just makes them run much slower then normal so basicly they are parlized)

Cleopas continued to follow the others who had signed up, thinking about his purpose in joining the expedition and about how to introduce himself to his fellows. At one point he noticed the warrior in front turn to look at him, but the warrior quickly turned about and ran ahead again. Looking up at the barracks that they were walking towards, he caught sight of a female ranger just passing through the doorway. He wondered if there were any more ahead of her, or behind himself. He glanced over his shoulder, but could not see anyone else following, although he did notice a strange-looking hooded man accompanied by a female necromancer walking across the town square.
The warrior and the shady-looking man had almost reached the barracks, and Cleopas decided to run ahead and catch up with them. If he was too far behind, he might lose sight of them inside the large barracks building, which presumably contained several different rooms.
WHOOSH!
All of a sudden, a huge blast of wind tore through the street right in front of him. He could barely see the other two a short distance ahead; the shady-looking man was holding tightly onto the warrior's cape as helmets, shields, barrels and pieces of paper flew all around them. Presently the cape ripped and the carnage settled. Cleopas scratched his head, then shrugged and concluded that the cause of the blast was not worth pondering.
He continued to run towards the barracks, and reached the other two a short distance before the doorway. They turned, hearing him puffing behind them, and with a friendly smile, Cleopas began to introduce himself: "Greetings. I believe I am to accompany you on this expedition to the surface. My name is Cleopas, and my magic will protect you in battle and heal your wounds."

After passing the towns square, a skinny man - with a voice like a weasel and a few friends - walked towards Miho and Kraid and said:

Miho took a look at Kraid's scythe and thought to herself: 'What does this pathetic piece of flesh wants to do with Kraid's scythe?! The scythe is almost double his size and I am sure he has not the muscles to carry it!'
While the man with a voice like a weasel spoke to Kraid, Miho noticed a light, cold breeze. The breeze seemed to originate from Kraid, which had now a light, dark aura surrounding his body.
'This could become interesting'
The next few moments went like a flash before Miho's eyes. The man and his comrades all took a punch in the stomach from the blunt side of Kraid's scythe. Terrified by the fact that they made Kraid angry, they tried to run away. It was amuzing to see that neither of them could move a feet away from Kraid. Kraid seemed also amuzed and said:
Quote:

Again Miho was astonished. [skill=text]Grenth's Grasp[/skill] was not an easy ability to learn. Besides that - to master this ability - you needed to be in Grenth's favor.
'This cannot be coincidence,' Miho thought. 'I am sended to a community to complete an assignement of Grenth and the first person I meet has Grenth's favor! Kraid could become much more then an ally, if I play it smart.'
Kraid seemed to be in a good mood, because he let the cowards alive. If Miho had been in Kraid's footsteps then all would have died. A slowly and painful dead of course
'There is no place for weaklings like them, in a world like this.... Although their corpses are more then welcome in this world.'
kraid turned around to me and said:

Before Miho could thank Kraid for his kindness, Kraid walked away to a bar. Probably to think about his encounter with Miho or drink away his sorrows. Miho Hyroshi first wanted to follow Kraid to the bar, but then realized she would seem ungrateful. It was time to eat and rest a bit, gather her strenghts back. Afterwards she would think of some way, to make Kraid her companion.
'Maybe having a drink in the bar with Kraid and having a good conversation would earn his trust.'
Miho walked to the front door of The Golden Devourer and entered with nothing else in her mind then the tasty food she would eat this day.

WHOOOSH!
Griel ducked as a huge blast of wind came flying at him, seemingly out of nowhere. Holding tight to his daggers to make sure they didn’t fly away with the breeze, he watched as the column of air tore the street apart. Helmets, shields, pieces of paper, everything went flying in every which direction. Griel reached out blindly, catching what appeared to be Throrin’s cape judging from the turtle shape sewn onto it.
In an instant, the windstorm was over. The townspeople looked very frazzled. Looking around, he heard a solitary voice from a group of what seemed to be guards. “Oops.”
‘Oops? That thing might’ve taken my head off!’ Griel thought. He grumbled, giving the torn cape to Throrin. “You might want a tailor to fix that…”
Muttering to himself, he did not notice when a friendly-looking monk strode up to the pair, his Canthan robes hanging loose.
“Greetings,” he said. “I believe I am to accompany you on this expedition to the surface. My name is Cleopas, and my magic will protect you in battle and heal your wounds.” Griel raised a questioning eyebrow towards the monk.
“I’m sorry, do I know you? Ah, never mind.” Griel blew off the notion, realizing that he’d probably seen most everyone in Cantha at one time or another. His job had taken him to all across the land, and he’d seen…and killed…a vast multitude of people along the way. “Anyway, it’s a pleasure. Name’s Lee Feng. I’m an adventurer from Keinang Center. I’ve traveled all over. Even got me a glimpse at Kuunavang herself!” Griel suddenly stopped to cough loudly. “Gods! Curse this underground air. A poison on the lungs, in my opinion.” Griel blew some of the dust away from his face, his coughs growing softer. His head suddenly jerked up, as if he had remembered something important.
“Oh, right! You mentioned healing, you say?” Griel raised a finger, showing that he remembered. “Thank you for the offer, sir, but I believe some people may be in more need of your services than others may. Like, say that man over there…” Griel jerked his thumb off in the direction of the now unconscious scribe, who had been knocked into a barrel of ale when the gust of wind. Giving a slight laugh, Griel continued onward into the massive Barracks.
OOC: Thing, I didn't know if you wanted to do anything else before I moseyed on in. So I'll wait a bit before I enter.
Oh, and I think everyone knows this, but...Nobody, aside from Throrin, knows that Griel is an assassin. To everyone else, I'm an explorer. I think everyone got that point across, but this is just to make sure.

(Ill get to changing all the assassin remarks to Ungly man )
Kraid Maelwaedd entered the bar and said to the bar tender, "I want your strongest drink now," the bar tendered applied and gave him dwarven ale in a barrel, the strongest ale known to man kind, he took the drink and sat on a chair and drank.
During his drinking a man appeared that he known since he got here and was his friend. His name was a secert but I still considered him a friend. I named him was Glacialis, wich means in latin frozen. He gave me any new information he could use and brought it to him for a price. Kraid greeted his friend with the usual "Hey budy," he laughed, he was half drunk now, "Hows it going."
Glacialis looked at me with motionless eyes and sat next to me and then he shared his information. "Hey Kraid I have information about your employers." I was instently intrieged and brought 50g and threw it to the table. Glacialis looked up with a small smile then started giving information to me, "First off your employer has been highering more people to take more goods from the upperworlders. Here is a list of names and what they look like." I started to read them off, "Lee Fang, A "ranger", Timot Holystrike, Throrin Oakenshield, and Cleopas the Blessed." All I could think was... wow don't people name there kids right any more. Then Glacialis started talking again, "Not so loud Kraid. Talk in your head. Here is some more information. Your Employer has been smuggling goods and paying large sums of money to people. Here is the list of things being smuggled plus his other payment." I started reading them off in my head. 2 tones of wood and Iron, then 500 pounds of black powder, 65 rare specias of animal named dredge, and payments to a gang called... The Weasels ran by Markis. Glacialis started talking once more, "I know that some of these things seem harmless but I find it suspicious." All I did was hand him 600g pieces and sent him away.
Some time latter I would pay Markis and friends a visit and find out why he was getting payments from his Employer. Kraid Maelwaedd doesnt like to be doubled crossed. He continued his thinking and drinking.

Azrael was chewed out for what he did but some how snuck away from the Captain. He looked around and found the Ugly Haired man coming close. This was my chance. I started by greeting the man.
"Hello there the name is Azrael Wyvern," I smiled to my self "Most people call me Azrael The Ventus Mage." I started making a wind orb in my hand just in case he tried doing somthing stupied. I made sure that he saw it. This wind orb was created by my self while training. Its like being hit by a Wurm Siege strait in the face. It can be quite deadly if you where to drop it accidentally, to yourself and the people around you.
"Whats your name worry traveler?" I laughed to my self and asked, "I hope you like it here." With that I pulled out a delicous looking apple. It could make any one mouth water then I looked at the ugly haired man and said, "Would you like a APPLE OF DOOM!"

"Ah bugger. At least it served a purpose getting ripped. Would have made me mad if it didn't at least help someone. I'll get that fixed soon, until then, out come the designed pauldrons. Anyway, you there. Monk. What did you say your name was? Your clothes look Kurzick, and although I've given up our whole bloodrivalry, I'll still kill you if you are a member of the Vasburg family, I'll chop your bloody head off now. But enough with the violence. I payed a little attention when that guy was writing our names down. It looks like Griel, you, that Ranger who just went into the Barracks and I are all going to be in the same unit.of course, there was 2 more slots left when I left, so counting you Monkypants, there's still one more person coming with us. I wonder who....."
Throrin stopped at this point to put his pauldrons on and let the Canthan Monk speak. While he pulled of the ones he had on, removed the ornately designed Enlightened Turtle design from his bag and attached them to his shoulders, the monk started to speak.

Griel couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
After a few moments, Griel stopped to catch his breath. Grinning at the mage, Griel replied, “You’re the one who sent that gust of wind my way, aren’t you? Well you, my good man, must be completely insane. That’s an apple of…doom, was it?” Griel snickered some more. “Ah, of course. And here’s my pet purple Moa bird!” Griel grinned, gesturing to the air around him. “Come on, Harvey. We have to go inside! There may be more lunatics out here.” Giving another sound guffaw, Griel walked away, back towards the barracks. ‘They sure do keep some odd people down here…good entertainment value, though. That apple did look quite tasty.’ Griel licked his lips hungrily as he approached the massive barracks.
Suddenly, Griel’s eyes widened. Unless his ears had deceived him, he had just heard the name ‘Griel’ being spoken somewhere close by. Throrin! ‘That stupid dwarf! He’s forgotten already? Hmph.’ Griel crossed his arms and sighed. He then put his hand to his forehead, rubbing his temples. ‘Maybe it was just a slip of the tongue. Easily forgotten. Calm down, Griel.’ Not wanting to draw any more attention to himself, Griel wandered inside the barracks, where he would meet up with whoever this ‘Captain of the Guard’ was.
The assassin entered, almost tripping over a staircase that led down to a seemingly bare room. Standing inside with him was a puny-looking scribe, the fit ranger from before, and whom Griel guessed to be the captain, a giant of a man with a deep, rumbling laugh that he let out as soon as Griel walked up to him.
“Why, look at this one! Can you even lift a broadsword, lad?” the captain grinned. Griel smirked back at him, deciding that it would be safe to show his weapons here.
“I don’t have to. I have these.” With that, Griel pulled out his twin daggers. Finely crafted, they weren’t as short as usual daggers, and not as long as a pirate’s rapier. A perfect middle ground, that allowed for deadly strikes from mid-close range. Two slithering emerald serpents wrapped around the hilts of the blades, as if preparing to strike with their long fangs. Showing off a bit, possibly for the ranger, Griel spun his blades around in mid-air, then crossed his arms and re-sheathed them with a sly smile. “The name’s Lee Feng. Glad to be in the service, sir.” Eyeing the ranger with an intense curiosity, Griel gave a courteous bow and spoke up again. “And just who, may I ask, are you, miss?”

Yes most people considered Azrael Wyvern insane, but this Lee guy was smarter then the average man. You see Azrael was well known for the apple of doom weapon. Azrael ate the apple and joined the rest of the people in the barracks.
He was going to use his Apple of Doom latter in the raid.
I finialy entered the barracks and listion to the captain speak to Lee. Then out of no where he heard the captain speak to him, "Azrael you will be teamed with this Lee fellow," Ugh but he has such ugly hair. The Captain continued, "You both seem to have the same sense of humor. So you will be joing the unit he is in. You'll be doing your specialty. That and also your going to be the only one that knows the map to this place the best." The Captain wispered somthing into the scribe ear. All I could pick up was the word "Insane" wich he would have found effensive if he hadn't eaten before coming. The captain waiting for a comback asked, All I said was "I demand 6 apples and ill do it."
The captained Gestured to the Paige to bring what I needed. Out I no where I said, "And a watermelon the beggiest you got," every one in the room had a scared face on them except the new people who just signed up. They complied to Azrael request. I put all of the apples in my coat and tied the watermelon to my back. After that I sat down and went to sleep.
OOC: Im going to have him take a nap until we actualy start going out to the raid.

“I’m sorry, do I know you? Ah, never mind,” replied the pale-looking man. “Anyway, it’s a pleasure. Name’s Lee Feng. I’m an adventurer from Keinang Center. I’ve traveled all over. Even got me a glimpse at Kuunavang herself!”
Cleopas was surprised by the man's friendliness; he had expected him to be just as shady in personality as in appearance.
“Oh, right! You mentioned healing, you say? Thank you for the offer, sir, but I believe some people may be in more need of your services than others may. Like, say that man over there…” Lee jerked his thumb in the direction of an unconscious squire, who had been knocked into a barrel of ale when the gust of wind hit. Laughing, he then wandered off into the barracks, leaving Cleopas to help the poor man. Before he could do so, the short warrior started speaking to him.
"You there, monk. What did you say your name was? Your clothes look Kurzick, and although I've given up our whole bloodrivalry, I'll still kill you if you are a member of the Vasburg family, I'll chop your bloody head off now. But enough with the violence. I payed a little attention when that guy was writing our names down. It looks like Griel, you, that Ranger who just went into the Barracks and I are all going to be in the same unit. Of course, there was 2 more slots left when I left, so counting you Monkypants, there's still one more person coming with us. I wonder who....."
Cleopas watched for a moment as the warrior began putting on his pauldrons. He was slightly confused, for the warrior had mentioned a name he did not recognise. Who was Griel? He then realised that the warrior must have been referring to the shady man, who had given his name as Lee Feng. It was probably just his nickname, thought Cleopas. Knowing that the warrior was waiting for him to reply, he did so.
"My name is Cleopas, and no, I am not related to the Vasburgs in any way. I am Ascalonian by birth, but through my adventures I discovered the Kurzicks of the Echovald. It was there I settled... after the defeat of Abaddon. I only recently returned here to..." he paused, realising he should not mention his family, and quickly thought up some other reason. "... to help my home country in a time of need." He glanced over at the unconscious squire, then said quickly, "I must help this man. I'll be back shortly."
Unclipping his staff from his back, he walked over to the squire and lifted his head out of the barrel. Slumping him on the floor, Cleopas lifted his staff in the air and casted the elite spell 'Blessed Light'. This removed the Dazed condition from the squire as well as the hex caused by breathing in alcohol (Conjure Phantasm). The frothy ale in the squire's mouth and all over his face and neck disappeared, and he sat up, breathing heavily. Smiling, Cleopas patted the man on the shoulder and then moved back towards the barracks doorway.
Seeing that the warrior had gone in, he went inside also. He stumbled down a staircase that led into a large but quite empty hall, and approached the others who were now speaking with the Captain of the Guard. He noticed another man in the room apart from the three he had already seen, the Captain and a scribe. Cleopas thought him to be a mage, but he was not sure.
"Ah, you there," boomed the Captain. "A monk, I assume? It's always a pleasure to have a healer around."
"Actually, I'm a protector," Cleopas replied.
"All the same to me, as long as you can keep your friends alive." The Captain let out a rumbling laugh and turned away to speak with the scribe.
Looking around, Cleopas noticed Lee playing with his daggers. He was talking to the ranger, who none of them had yet spoken to. Raising an eyebrow, Cleopas began smoothing over his staff with his hands as he listened to their conversation.

((ooc - Sorry for the momentary absence, and now on with the show!
Ah by the way, the light sources are mainly sunlight filtering through cracks in the ceiling, or lanterns both fire-lit or magical.))
Ivy glanced curiously at the obviously insane Fruity Mage, wondering what exactly he had in mind. She turned to face a newcomer as the Captain's great hearty laugh echoed in the empty hall. This man didn't seem like much at first, but he proved a certain worthiness in his quick and precise dagger movements. She graced him with a small style as he introduced himself as Lee Feng. She liked his style.
Then he decided to speak up to her, "And just who, may I ask, are you miss?" She straightened a leather strap tied to her left arm, sporting three fangs and a sharp claw, memories of a lost companion. This simple movement gave her time to glance about the room, noting the warrior and monk that had joined them, and that the mage had seemingly dozed off.
"If you need a name, Ivy will do. I'll have your backs," she said, tapping her bow, "Possibly also your fronts, if I need to scout. In fact, I wonder what you all will be needed for." ,she laughed.
"Well, aren't we being the confident one." ,chimed in the Captain with a grumbling chuckle, "We'll be seeing everyone's real worth soon enough." He grabbed his broadsword's pommel from the squire's hands with an armored fist and easily hefted it up to rest on his shoulder. "By my one good eye, that's as many I 'twas told to expect. Follow along, I'll give you each your instructions."
Glancing towards 'Lee', Ivy shrugged and fell in step. As the Captain checked up with a few soldier manning carts, she lowered her voice to ask the assassin, "So how exactly does such a rugged looking man come upon such fine things?" ,gesturing towards his daggers.

OOC: This is after every one had left the room to follow the captain.
Azrael was listioning to every thing around him. It may have seemed he was sleeping but in actuality he was going into a trance. After he comes out of a trance he becomes more... sane but down side is he has less of a heart. He literally becomes his name.(his name is a refrense to Azrael The Angel of Death)
I broke out of my trance after the captain said to them to come and find out what they where going to do. I got up and kept walking but out of no where one of his fellow guards steped foward and grabed him by his soldier. He wispered somthing into my ear "You think you can take all the glory that rightfuly is mine. Me and my men have been here for years. You just joined us 4 months ago. We are sick and tired of sitting down here for days with out any action. I want to hurt some one. Maby it will be you." I yawned and pulled out a grap from my pocket. The mans reaction was nothing but humor. He said to me "What you going to do with that choke me to dea-" With that I shoved the grape into his mouth and left him. The guard and his friends suddenly started laughing. He then calpesed to the ground. One of the guards got up and checked his pulse. Then said "Hes dead."
They all fell scilent. I couldn't help myself from laugh. The scilence made me look more insane. I loved it. I couldn't help myself so I said to the other guards, "Well would any of you like to speak out against your employer?" They all nodded no. With that I laughed more then I pulled out an apple. They all screamed and ran as fast as they could out of the room. The only one left in the room was the paige. I smiled my demon smile at him. He screamed and ran as well. I put the apple back into my pocket and followed the rest of them into the next room.

Tales of the Underground
OOC:
Wow! I have had a very busy week and almost no time to check things out here. Now it is weekend with a clear sky and a hot burning sun Perfect weather to write something down! Sitting in the garden with my laptop on my knee. I am enjoying a cool glass of beer and waiting for inspiration. Here it comes!
IC:
Miho Hyroshi stepped into a bright room. A staircase, five tables - with on each table four chairs - and a doorway to another room were visible. A few persons were sitting around the tables talking and laughing out loud. On one table four persons were playing carts. Probably locals and visitors from other underground communities, Miho assumed. Straight forward was a counter and behind it a big man. Not big like huge or tall, but big in a more chubby way.
The chubby man spoke to Miho:
'How may I help you, my lady?'
'One room for the night and a good, warm meal would be nice, Mister ....?'
'My friends call me Laren. I assume I can call you my friend, Miss....?'
'Hyroshi, Miho Hyroshi.'
'Can you pay for a room and a warm meal with gold, Miss Hyroshi?'
Miho grabbed into her pocket to get the golden coins from Kraid. She showed the coins to the chubby man. The chubby man nodded. These were the coins he was looking for.
'Let me show you your room, Miss Hyroshi,' the chubby man said while he grabbed a key behind the counter.
Both went upstairs using the staircase. Once upstairs there was a corridor with nine doors, four on each side and one at the end. The chubby man led Miho to the third door on the left.
'This will be your chamber for the night, Miss Hyroshi. Your meal will be ready thirty minutes from now. Can I expect you downstairs at that time?'
'I will be downstairs in thirty minutes Mister Laren.'
Laren gave Miho the key to the chamber and went downstairs - probably to prepare Miho's meal. Miho entered the chamber. The chamber contained a bed, a closet and a table with one chair. A window, with view on the square, lighted up the chamber. Miho walked to the chair and placed it behind the window. Miho observed the people below her on the square and waited till the thirty minutes had past by.
After thirty minutes Miho went downstairs. The chubby man went through the doorway in the back of the room, once he saw Miho coming. Miho sat down on a chair next to a table in a corner of the room. Other people were already eating from plates. Potatoes, fresh vegetables and even pieces of meat. The smell of all this food did make Miho's mouth water. The chubby man entered the room with a plate full with food.
'Have a nice meal, Miss Hyroshi.'
'Thank you, Mister Laren. I will surely enjoy this meal!'
Laren gave Miho a big smile and walked back to the counter. Miho ate the food with much joy. When Miho had almost finished her meal, an old man entered the room. The old man had a very bent back and used a walking-stick to stay straight up. His clothes were torn and looked incredibly ancient, as if he had carried those since the origin of the world. He shuffled to Miho's table and started to talk against her with an old, cracking voice.
'Hello young lady. I see you are enjoying your meal. Can you spare me some gold, so I can enjoy one myself?'
'I am sorry old man, but I am not spending my money to feed someone else.'
'And if I know a way to earn your money? How about that?'
The old man grinned. Miho did not like his smile on his face. It was a cunning, smart smile. Maybe this man knew more then you would think in the first place. He was certainly not an ordinary wanderer, begging for a meal.
'I do not want to be rude, but how can an old man earn my money? You cannot be of any use to me.'
'I see problems in your eyes. Something occupies your mind and makes you insane. Give me a golden coin and I will read your future in the palm of your hand.'
Miho did not believe that someone could read the future, but the old man had attracted her attention. Perhaps he knew where Miho could complete her mission from Grenth.
'Okay old man, I will give you one golden coin if you tell me my future. But only if you promise me that you will leave afterwards and let me finish my meal.'
The old man nodded and grabbed Miho's hand. He began drawing marks in the palm of her hand with his fingers. He followed the lines in Miho's hand and mumbled a bit into himself. After a while he looked into Miho's eyes and spoke:
'I was right about your troubled mind. Your future shows me even more trouble and problems, but also adventure and great treasures. Just keep in mind that you have to find peace with your past, before you start looking to the future.'
The old man let Miho's hand go and raised his shoulders.
'That is it, young lady. I think I earned my golden coin, do I not?'
'I think this was a lousy prediction of my future. Every persons has its troubles and problems. And of course you saw my exotic clothes. One plus one is two and that explained why you think I will have an adventure.'
'How about my last sentence? "Keep in mind that you have to find peace with your past, before you start looking to the future." This sentence cannot be explained with rational thinking.'
'It is all fake in my opinion, but I hope you remember our agreement. I give you my golden coin and you leave me alone.'
Miho took a golden coin out of her pocket and gave it to the old man.
'Mark my words, young lady! Let go of your past before concentrating on the future. Mark my words!'
'Leave me alone, old man. If you are still here when I finished my meal, then you will never spend that coin.'
The old man was smart enough to leave quickly. Miho paid the chubby man for the meal and went upstairs to her chamber. The meal had done her well and now she needed to rest. Miho undressed herself and placed her clothes in the closet next to the bed. Miho turned away the white blankets and went into bed. It did not take long till she fell asleep.
