@ angelexperiment:
Practise. Read any snippet on anatomy, colortheory and whatever you think looks interesting and then doodle away. Eventually you will improve.
This isn't Guild Wars related, but the game does have it's impact on me.. heh. A testpage from a comicproject I'm working on - done in Photoshop.

Actually, now that I look at it, there's one small problem with your drawing... the facial scar. It looks more like paint than scarring. See your avatar, with the darker red lining to the top of the scar - it gives it depth, as showing the skin is on a different level than the scar tissue. Just a tiny thing, but yeah. /2gp
Also: I'm not a talented artist in the least, so you can disregard my comment if you want. Just one gal's opinion. >.>

No, It's just I thought it was a tattoo not a scar. You need ink after all and I don't knwo why you'd need ink for a simple scar. Next time I'll redraw the sign and make it a scar.

I'd guess they get all those nifty colours for the scars by using ink. Besides, even in real life scars look quite interesting if you tattoo them with ink. Even normal tattooing is about making scars on the skin to put ink under it.
Anyway, your work is just amazing! I very much like how you colour the skins of your characters, it looks so soft and alive. Looking forward to seeing more.

Finally! something to comment on
The girl has different colours in the 2 pictures, I think the girl on the second picture could use a darker black tone in her hair.
The more yellow fleshcolour is too much of a hassle to change and its not that important anyways (nor is my comment on the hair :P)
I love that gallery of urs ^^, and the trees in the final picture are great aswell ^^

That comic page looks really amazing. Those empty text bubbles looks mighty tempting though. This wasn't a suble invitation to a caption contest, hmm?
Well, I filled them in anyway! Hope you don't mind

Engelzorns, your artwork is insanely beautiful. Again, one of the few people on this thread I would love to see my characters done as, seeing as your one of the few people on this thread who I think can justify them and bring the real life of them to all to see.
Kudos on your artwork

Might have been cool if you made the dragons head move back a bit on the last picture, as if frightened ^^

Thank you all
I've made up my mind about comissions. I'll do one - only one since my time is rather short atm. Anyone interested in getting his/her character painted should post screens of the character right here. Pricetag is at least 30 K. You decide what I paint, a simple porträt or a fullbody. I'll try to stick to the designs as close as possible, but I can't do a fully rendered background like Shing Jea monastary or whatever o_o, that would take forever. A ranger sitting on a rock in front of blue sky, something like that or a necro standing in foggy green lights with a symbol on the ground beneath his feet.
Depending on what you want, the price may rise. You'll get a fullsized jpg once I'm done with the painting. The jpg will be 3000+ px in size and good enough for printing. Yeah, I like to bury myself in work @_@,

If that one slot is still available, I'll glady take it

I'll take a full body, I'll understand if you simplify the armor a little since it is rather detailed and seems like it would be a pain to draw. Any basic background like you described would be cool.
Let me know if it'll cost extra

Alright depending on how things go with my freelancing job, you'll get a sketch either later today or tomorrow. Price will be 40k since you want a fullbody and the armor isn't that detailed. I'd cry my eyes out if your necro was wearing the same armor as mine does.
