I do all my art in photoshop, can I enter this with a photomanipulation of them? (I can show you some of my stuff if you don't think its up to snuff to do computer art).

Sure, photo manipulations are ok. Please note. That simply, for example pasting Shan or Sanra's faces pasted onto a body would probably put you into the honorable mentions catagory(tho there are some nice prizes there also). Stunning well done photo manips may well not.

i wont do a copy and past thing, don't worry. I'm gonna do some cool lighting effects and put them in a cool environment (space-mesmer-ish if you catch my drift). I'm not a huge fan of cheesy copy and paste stuff.

Thanks. Lol... that was a completely random picture. Turned out pretty decent though. Kinda makes me mad that no one comments on anything I do though. I mean, I joined DA for some constructive crit, y'know? All I get is "That's good." Ughh.. so annoying.
And I think the point of asp's little picture -was- to keep it a secret.

Well deviantart is a big community, they won't look at all things that pass by.. If the ppl there had to criticize everything they saw, they'd be busy all day.

Deviantart or any gallery is not the place for critiques. If you want critique you'll have to join a forum of some sort like epilogue.net oder conceptart.org. I recommend epilogue as the users are generally very nice and take their time to help you out. Conceptart is a fine place, too, but beware that some people may try to help, but come off a little odd or rude - doesn't change the fact that those crits are very helpful. You just have to sort out what you like and what you don't like.

Thanks guys, that's really helpful.
I had an old account that got noticed quite a bit, but once I got my new one, I've had all of five people say a word to me.
So I was just getting a little tired of the whole DA thing.
I might try those other sites, thanks again.
And once I get into working on Guild Wars stuff, I plan on posting some of it here.

ahh nice nice, im a bit into photo editing myself so maybe you might want some tips on improving on your design? should define the parchment edges with soft, lower opacity eraser, and also use a few different parchment styles to copy because its clear when the same one is being used for everything. I think if you fixed those things it would make a big difference
good luck mate! glad to see more competitors

Well, I suppose it was only a matter of time before Sanra was declared wanted by authorities, she has much of a habit of murdering wammos
Nice picture but unfortunately I can't really recognize Sanra. Do you have a bigger version of the picture?
