Just found this Thread, i normaly dont scroll all the way down.

Ok just one more thing is there a way to stop windows in changing the icons to the default once i restart my Pc? coz thats what happens and i need to change them back again.

It changes My Computer, My Network Places, My Documents, Recycle Bin all the windows default icons.

I am missing something?

Running windows XP, Pro

After you follow the instructions, it will ask fo rthe icon, change the view from icon file to all file and then open the icl, it will list the icons for you.

BTW who ever made these icons, you rock!!!! Excellent work. I hope to see a factions set , with the assasin and ritualist. That will be cool.

Im having trouble.

I can download the .exe and everything, but i cant install it. It always brings up an Icon Library Installation tab on my bar that wont bring anything up.

Basically, i can't get it to install.

is it just me, or from tehimages do half the skills look like ones from the bwe's? or are they your own creations

glyph of gesture
disappear, confusion
holy strike, mend injury
disecration(now desecrate enchantments)
call of aggretion, vitality etc.

they are awesome icons im not doubting that, but just sume are.. missing

yeah, no kidding? in the first page, veryl, Gaile Grey from A-Net/NCSoft gave her approval of them. I use them a lot. they are boss. I have my virus protection software set as Aegis... and adaware SE as smite hex...

That's great. They're all over my desktop. I've been trying to make some icons but photoshop is being evil about saving with a transparent background...

EDIT: What program was used to turn these into .ico files? I'm using a plugin for Photoshop, made an Assassin one myself but it's a bit less smooth looking than these.

only im working with windowblinds to change my whole computer into guildwars them

, so um.... i cant change my documents, my computer etc etc etc
but i can change other icons ^^
looks reaaly cool with a background image of the market (factions fansite kit)

You can change My Computer, Recycling bin and stuff under your Properties when you right click on the desktop. I remember that somewhere. My friend did it and turned the recycle bin into a cat litter box.

Rawr! My First post in....months!

I be back, to a degree. Noticing the requests for elite skills, I think i'll take up this project again. Sadly at one point my computer had imploded, and I lost my base files for all of this, so it means I'd have to start over from scratch.

BUT, with Factions just around the corner, I'd need to do sets for the Ritualist and Assassin anyways, so perhaps a slightly different variation on it all is needed to celebrates Factions Release? :P

Make your requests now for what skills you want to see, Ideas, Suggestions, etc etc. I'll try to encorperate as much of what you guys would like to see as I can.

Maybe I can bug Gaile to get some of the games resources so I can make better quality icons. :P

Edit: I fired off a Private Mesage to Gaile, to see about getting my hands on the missing skill icons, as well as the ones for the Ritualist and Assassin. If any of you out there know a way I can get some good high quality images of them, let me know!

i figure theres 3 ways of getting them:
1: ask gaile, recommended
2: take screenshots, not recommended
3: have a lookie in gw.dat, i dont think its allowed.

if you manage 2 get a hold of them, i wouldnt mind the art set for my own reference.

1. I messaged Gaile, its merely a matter of waiting now.
2. Screenshots wont offer the same level of quality that the first batch had, and if I'm redoing these, I want them to be as good, or better.
3. I've considered that, and looked into it a bit. the .dat file however....is messy, and not easilly broken apart or explored. At least, not by any means I've found yet.
