Killy's Gee-Dubs Art.
Hey all Since I've started doing little scribbles of all my characters I figured I'd have to start a thread here.
So here's what I've done so far, my mesmer, my monk, and my rit!
Adrift At Peace
Carina Genocide
Azrelina Evanescent
Feel free to view the rest of my gallery. Here it is.
Obviously it's not all guild wars related, I do photography as well as other mindless sharpie art. If you have a deviantart account, I'd love for you to comment or watch me, I'm lookin' for more artists to watch as well!
Please tell me what you think. Also I'm thinking of doing some commissions- any idea how much my pieces are worth? ^_^;; I know they're not horribly good but I enjoy drawing GW characters so I figured doing commissions would be a good idea.

nice style you got there, again something really different to the stuff that's already out there in the academy me likes
there's a big market for commissions here, and I'm sure if you set up a thread people will buy your art because it's unique - you don't have to be perfect for people liking your drawings
keep it up

Oh yay, a reply! Thanks a lot, I think I will set up a commission thread sooner or later, I just don't know what to charge. I myself would pay only around 5k for my art That's still a bit 'o profit. But either way I enjoy drawing even though I'm not the best! ^_^

I think you could easily charge around 20k per piece if colored, because they are a lot of work - but it's up to you. just don't underestimate the value of your art because you're new and don't want to look greedy

You definitely have a unique style
I think 5K is way way too low. Like Morag D said 20K easy... probably more.
Don't low ball yourself because you might be new, or afraid to sound greedy. Reality is it takes YOU time to draw. SO it's only fair that you trade YOUR time drawing for OUR time playing the game and saving the gold.
Looking forward to you posting a commission thread.
Take care and good luck!

I agree with DMW. You've got a unique style and that counts for a lot in my opinion.

It's going ok. I'm actually working on a commission right now which is why I haven't gotten anything new up- including the picture of the ranger that is still sitting half finished on my desk.
The commission is looking real nice though I'll post that up soon Not long to go.

I am really, really loving Open Canvas. Here's the finished commission I was talking about:
I much prefer drawing girls @__@ Guys have difficult anatomy.
And here's something that's not GW-related that I've started and so far am very pleased with.
