As I saw there a lot of great artists on the forum and I love most of your styles. Thats why Ive decided for a challange of everyone posting examples of your best work and I pick whos I like the best and I would decide who I Would like to let him/her draw it.

Description: all 4 characters in a large meadow in order (from left) My ranger, ritualist, warrior, mesmer. next to my ranger would be his sleeping crocadile. My ranger will be petting the crocs head(kneeling of course) the ritualist will just be waving my warrior will be sitting (the way a girl warrior sits) and my mesmer will have his arms crossed body facing away from front but head turned so you can see his face. They will be on a hill and behind a big open meadow (grass).

So wait, you are gonna make alot of people draw this but only pay the winner?

That seems somewhat unfair

no, I think the idea is we post examples of our best work here (so it's all in one convenient thread). Then depending on who is interested in doing the commission, a price will be set (after all, why host a 100k competition if all the expensive artists are busy and can't enter...and you could buy a commission for under 20k from the people who do enter).

Rather than being subject to the artists rules and waiting list, this is a way to buy a slot higher up on the list of priority so that the work gets done in a timely manner for a reasonable price.

I can see why this would be good for the buyer, but I can't see how this is good for the artist. The artists here already have displays of their best work available, and if their list is closed it's because they don't have time for it right now. So of the artists who are available, it would probably be better to just PM them and make a special request/offer to the one that would be chosen. Say "I'll take your price, add x-amount for each extra character, and add x-amount to be at the top of your list."

Unless there are set prices and there are more than one entries this sounds like a scam just to get a art piece done while everyone else has to wait on an artists list. I'm sorry but unless this is a Duo art contest or something a long those lines this just seems like a scam. Please read the rules and don't try scamming artists out of their effort and time. And BTW this would be the wrong section for a thread like this and there is no art commission request section so either post an art contest or don't post. And that would cost you a little bit of money.

Lol I guess I was a lil unlcear. Everyone is to post your best work (as in prevoius commisions or drawings already done) then ill pick someone with the best style and will pay them to do it. The price will be around 100k+15ectos

Edit: Dead dude I understand your point and I guess you are right. Would I post in a thread that I like to style of see if they willing to do such a large commision and if say yes I wait behind everyone else? or give me some advice I agree with you
