I wanted to make sure that everyone saw the information about the Guild Wars: Eye of the North Prerelease Bonus Pack, particularly about the items. (Here's a link to that page.)

We're very excited to choose the prerelease items from our recent Design-A-Weapon Contest! As far as I know, this has never been done before, and I've been dying to tell you guys about it for the last few weeks.

We want to make sure that the three artists receive their rewards. I've heard from Marko and Andre, but need to get in touch with Bora, so if he is someone you know, please pass the word along and ask him to drop a line to [email protected] so we can get him his gifts!

Congratulations!!!! Woot!!! In case some of you didn't know, Marko is Babaroga, who has some amazing drawings in this section of guru. I am really glad ANET has seen the amazing talent you have. I don't know who the other 2 are, or even if they post around here, but if they do, I would also like to congratulate them!!

Oh, cool, I recognize that hourglass staff from one of the people here on guru. I hope they're able to get a hold of the artist. He seemed a little disappointed that he didn't win anything before. I'm glad they decided to do something fun with it after all.

Also, congrats to the others as well!

EDIT: I looked him up on GWO since they still have that thread in their archives. His name over there is Kryth. I sent him a PM, but his profile says he hasn't been on since May 15. HOPEFULLY, he gets email notification when he gets messages and will see that.

When do you reckon these'll actually be implemented into the game? Don't say 26th of August either, 'cause we had the preorder items for factions and nightfall a couple of months in advance, so I'd imagine 'sooner rather than later.'

Well first of all I want to give me reagards and congratulations to ANDRE and BORA. Awsome designs, and to be quite honest, in my oppinnion that Staff sweeps away both of our designs with it's originality! (I hope that hourglass rotates

Second, thank you Mrs Gaile (or maybe Miss

) and the whole art team for choosing our designs, and furthermore implemented them into the game! I realy didn't lay my hopes high in my bows design, and I gotta tell you, I'm so glad I was wrong

And I got to say, guys what do you have against me? First, my name was not on the official Finalist list, and now some other dude will recieve congrats instead of me (*cough* CvetKovic*cough*not CvetRovic*

People this is Kryth ahm Bora from Turkey a.k.a. designer of the hourglass staff. I"ve been on vacation for 15 days now and I recieved the good news on a train to Genova lal

I couldn"t access the internet for quite a while but in the end I menaged to get to mail Gaile Gray but haven"t recieved anything back. In case the she hasn't recieved my mail I"m posting that the info she sent me is correct and I re-confirm it.

One request I have is that u peeps keep this thread alive so Gaile comes back to see I"m still alive. Thank u peeps for the feedback btw and grats to the other two winners. I'll never get tired of looking at their pieces they rawk!
