LF a Digital Painter for my Mesmer Lineart >_>
So as the thread title suggests, I'm looking for someone who may be interested in doing a bit of digital painting for this lineart of my mesmer. I can't say I have much to offer as a reward, though, so uh...not sure how I plan using as an incentive >_>
Links!
Low-Resolution -> http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/172/aspwipcp0.jpg
High-Resolution -> http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/781/asphiresbj5.png
So the details are...
Top and hair should be an eggshell white, leather texture
Skirt should be medium black, leather texture
Thick borders at the bottom hem of the skirt, as well as the top and bottom hems of the top should be dark black, solid texture.
Thin bands at the shoulders, wrist, and collar should be gold
The gem details should be a glassy obsidian
The fringe detail on the sleeves and shoulders should be a glossy black
The weird looking collar, I have no idea >_>
Complexion should be medium to dark, and dry.
Eyes should be a goldish color, but well experimentation may find a better match :P
GL, HF, and thanks a million in advance <3
-edit-
Okay so I adjusted the levels to try and make the lines more defined, but I think it's still a bit rough. I work in pencil, since I plan on shading this by hand anyway. Forgive me

seconded. you did that yourself? that's really cool. I could have a try, but honestly, I'm still trying to find time to finish all my commissions and do a few other colorings, so I don't think it'd be a very good idea ... but as a general suggestion, you should put up the lineart in a format as big as possible to make it easier to work with - in case you haven't planned to do this anyway.
again, great lineart

Oh wow, it appears as though I forgot to draw the top half of the scabbard -_-

Just saying from my one experience from doing CG, it takes alot longer than 5 days to do a good coloring, probably at least 2 weeks to make an epic one.

Okay, I decided to take a crack at coloring this, It's definitely not done, and seeing as it was more practice, I did it more to my liking. I have to study hair a lot more, and I really don't like the face, so I'll probably end up redoing that, but as far as the clothing, I think those are basically done..
Here we go (don't laught plx!):
I more just want comments on the clothing.. and some of skin.

Clothes are really good, but the skin seems way too yellow. It needs to be a bit pinker to seem realistic.

(updating the image regularly)
Here it is at 50% size (using the "high-res" one)

im working on a version now, ill throw it on my server later tonight.
The black is a bit of an issue with me though, since i have a slight colorblindness towards black and other dark colors, i went alittle lighter i hope you dont mind.
edit:
ehh, didnt turn out anywhere close to what i had hoped. i guess the last couple years took away the very little "talent" i use to have for this. thank you for posting it though, it was fun to do something i havent dont in years.
arg, i missed a few things and miscolored even more, and the colors are more off then i thought.

Wow, some great work, thanks a ton, guys!
I'll work on my lineart, maybe I can come up with some more pictures, hopefully more refined and clean.
Once again, fine contributions, all of them

Yeah, I hate what I did, So I'm trying a new technique. It's coming together slowly, and I have no idea when I'll be done..
