Foxeye's GW Fanart
Just one small picture so far. I wanted an excuse to try doing cell shading, and my water elementalist seemed like a good subject (I haven't decided on a favorite armor set for her yet, hence the, erm, lack of attire). My style is normally more painterly, and so I'm not so good with smooth edges. It probably shows. Definitely something I need to keep working on.
(I've been lurking around here long enough to know the question that's coming, heh, and the answer unfortunately is no, I don't do commissions. No spare time. )

That's beautiful and somehow so nostalgic for me. The style reminds me of the Elfquest saga. That was one of the first comic series that got me into drawing characters at all. Very lovely artworks.
I just visited your websites and I see you are a EQ fan afterall. That EQ calendar picture with Ember is gorgeous! You don't seem finnish(?) but I also noticed some of your Jungle Fire characters have finnish names there being finnish myself.

Thank you! I've made no secret that I adore your artwork, so it means a lot that you compliment my artwork.

My husband is finnish. I really hope we can move to Finland some day, but we decided to start out in the USA first. Since we have a second language at our disposal, we decided it would be fun to use it in the comic as the language of one of the largest human cilivizations.
(Incidentally, EQ is how my husband and I met. ^_^ It has definitely been a huge influence over me, whether I like it or not!)

I'm uncertain whether non-GW art would really be welcome, so this is a bit of an experiment. If people are indifferent, then I'll only post GW art after this so I don't clutter up the thread.
I finally revamped the first page of the webcomic I draw for. It's still not perfect, but given what it used to be...it's a vast improvement. I've only been drawing for 3 years, and the earlier version was two of those years ago.

This is the latest WIP in a piece of fanart I'm doing for a friend's everquest webcomic (http://reflex.corey-art.com). This picture is probably going to take me 2+ years to finish, since I work on it in tiny bits. THis particular character is a 14 year old girl with abnormally powerful magic talents:

That is some really good stuff. Can you show us more of the one with the girl? Is that a warrior-type to the left?

The rest of it isn't nearly as far along, but this is what the bigger picture looks like atm. I'll probably swap the pastel background for something darker. The woman at the back is a shadowknight (crazy chick, but I love the character), and the oddly shaped one at the bottom is a froglok wizard.

I think you shouldn't make it too dark, or the girls expression would be all wrong In fact, It'd be cool if they magic-ed some flowers ^^

Sketch of my husband's paragon (he describes him: "My character, Avrad Dal, is not very bright. He's all shiny armor, striking poses, and well-groomed hair, because everyone looks up to him. He needs to be a leader, to set an example, and he takes his role very seriously. Which, under different circumstances would work out great... he certainly has that greek hero thing going... except he's dumb as a brick. Much hilariousness ensues.") and my dervish, who I like to refer to as a deranged farm girl (long skirt, scythe, braid...like Laura Ingolls gone crazy).
His legs have problems, but I'm sure I'll patch that up when I take it to painter.

Sweet picture I think you could make the scythe-stick a bit thinner though ^^. Also, the left part of his neck seems a bit odd..
