Woah, this is one tough G.I. Jane looking female mariner!
You maniged to capture her character very well, and by character i mean "I
just single handedly killed 14 men and blasted those darn aliens back where they came from, you better not interrupt me while i smoke my cigar!"
Very nice !

Wow at the colouring and the look on her face. She has so much attitude that it's just bursting out of the picture. Great job!
Liking your other drawings too. A suggestion for colouring, maybe try having a little more contrast between light and shadow? Right now I can see the shading ok, but it's quite flat in some images and doesn't really bring out the light and dark places. Your newest one is a step in the right direction though.

oookay, so this is some interrim info:
as I will be through (and thank god I'm going to be able to finish everything in time - if my computer doesn't decide on a last-minute breakdown...) my BA diploma work by next tuesday, I'll most certainly start with commissions again by next thursday (kindly allow one day for my hangover to go away )
thanks for everyone camping out here so long!

I'M BACK
'schoooool's out for summer'! *sing*
woke up this morning with a huge motivation to draw, and since I still owe(d) Torikae a picture for her wonderful piece of my paragon Eryn I did her ritualist:
you may have noticed that this is a slightly different style to what I used to do, but I like it very much and its likely I'll stick to it for further commissions (if I don't fall back on my usual habits, that is )
enjoy

That is really good. I'm sure you'll do fine with the Nolani Reform.
Though I'm going to do a little editing. To get all your information posted there instead of linking here. =P

alright, since it took me a while to figure out how the new Commission Central's supposed to work (I was really slow today ), here's update to my thread:
COMMISSIONS WILL BE TAKEN IN MY NEW THREAD (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...69#post2885569) OVER AT THE COMMISSION CENTRAL FROM NOW ON
this thread has been renamed and will serve me as a publishing platform of my work where you are still allowed to post your 'oooh'-s and 'aaah'-s and discuss my art.
the creating of a new thread has NOT affected my current commission and waiting list - if you had a spot there, you haven't lost it.
ps.: thx again for the nice comments

me again I'm astonished what the sudden lack of work pressure can do to my creativity^^
here's my newest for Don't Mess WithMe:
It's called 'Friends 'til the End'; first I wanted to do something funny, but melancholy got the better of me - hope you like it nevertheless
Edit:
on request, a less depressing 'sleep mode' version of the same picture
cheers!

let's see how long my new one-artwork-per-morning routine works
for now, it's working perfectly
here's Tommarrow's:
I took inspiration from your sig, the idea is Gail smugly posing for some summer photoshoot in front of the inferno she's just caused. I just went wild on the colors hope I haven't pushed it too far. and oh, the face... I can't make her stop pouting...

I'm guessing that you haven't seen a lot of palm trees then. They can grow weird like that.

Very nice. I love all of the colors.
You are a machine all of a sudden. Don't break anything working so hard.
