So nice to see such dynamic group poses, great to see someone so prolific too ^^.
A thing I was wondering, do you use only one type of pencil for all your drawings? Because they've all got lots of "mid-gray" but hardly any deep dark spots. How about using a really soft and dark pencil (anything from 2B to, say, 6B) to bring out the deep shadows and dark tones that are usually present in several armors.

Yeah I only use one type of pencil... the HB one... mainly because my other pencils are all broken or lost. The drawing as I have it here is darker than the one you can see though

Ooooh! Thankyouthankyou! <3 I like it very much, Perynne looks really relaxed and happy. Very good work on her armor too and there aren't any really eye-catching anatomical mistakes either. Her left arm looks maybe a tad bit too long, but it's barely noticeable.
One thing I will say though, is that right now there's a lot of blank background behind her. This is fine, since I didn't ask for a background, but even a couple of branches with a few leaves would really give the feeling that she's up in a tree. You don't even need to draw them very detailed, just vague shadows of branches and leaves in the back would work.
Thank you very much again, I love it! I will get cracking on your character this weekend, once I get all nasty work-related stuff outta the way. If it's not done by monday, you have my permission to poke me with something sharp and rusty.

Very nice drawing! I like its theme, a lot more interesting than a drawing of a character in a generic pose.

That's very cute! Like Sectus said I really like how you put her in a non generic pose and into a non generic situation you wouldn't normally think of. Nice work.

lol... PSUEDO CHIBI!!!
i like it.
The only comment i'll say is this: the background feels out of place, especially with the characters right foot. Unless shes jumping stairs, but that would be a weird jumping pose then :P
Requesting: Hgiher resolution *autographed* (so i remember the artist) version of the picture please if you dont mind.
Also if you see me ingame, pm me for a lil reward

yeah the background hardly fits eh? She's jumping a few steps off the stairs.
Higher resolution is possible I recon..

Although, as usual the character herself is superbly defined. And yes, definitely cute . The thing that's off about the background though, is the angle she's facing as opposed to the angle she would be facing if she were going down the stairs - looks like she's jumped straight out of the center collumn. But the background doesn't spoil the picture, certainly - the centerpiece is striking and prominent enough to detract from the background angle
Now... Any chance of a spoiler on mine? I'm itching to see how the poses have come out... (I know you've done that much, cause u keep telling me in-game.) In the mean time, I might get the sketchbook out and try some more myself - I've been very lazy since the last thing I posted, done a lot of photoshopped screenshots, but no actual drawings, so I should probably get back to that medium and practice, since I won't ever improve unless I do.

@Moa Bird: That was exactly what i was trying to say! i suck at explaining stuff, lolz.
The thing is, the background is awesome... and the character is "awesomer", its just the angle.
Note: I really love your landscapes and sceneries on page 5. Really inspiring.

Drawn at school, the feet/legs aren't right, but I like her apart from that. Not too tempted to finish it though..
Perynne in another position, less worked out
(Probably going to redo this a bit, but it will be much like this moabirdcultist!)
necromancer-lookalike
Both aren't correct, especially the bottom one is wrong, from that angle you can't look at her like that, shes bend in an odd way.
Made this one a few months ago for the pantheon of the gods entry, well it was like that in an earlier stage, but I turned it into a more D&D-like picture ^^
etherealbyte: Something insane happened, my dad cleaned up my room, so erm, I'm trying to find your picture now :S can't find it.
Comment please !!

I have a pose in mind for Aimee, mistical, I'll pm you later once I've got the idea on paper. Rena's pose is perfect though and Krysten, well she looks suitably fired up. The only thing is that the Chan would not normally have reins. It doesn't like them, you see and whenever Krys tries to fit them, it eats them
Actually, I found a pic online that is kind of like the pose I'm imagining, so I'll pm you with it in a bit once I've uploaded it onto my flickr.
As for the others, I like the alt of Perynne and your Necro-alike. Also, what you're saying about the girl in the dress, (dervish?) it's true, but I still like that one as well.
There is one thing I'm wondering though, in the pantheon picture, who or what is the one in the top left of the picture supposed to be?

Something else, non-gw related:
At perynne's request I found a way to play piano music and transfer it to my computer.
Here is the try out (about 4-5MB) http://files.filefront.com/L014MP3/;.../fileinfo.html
Comments are welcome ofcourse ^^ even though its just a quick doodle on the piano

I loved it! I don't play music myself so I can't give very thorough comments on technique or anything... all I can say is that it will stick to my playlist for a long time for sure. It's just wonderful for someone "playing by the ear". You definitely have talent for it.

Just from a casual listen, I have to say I really like it. There's a bit of reverb on the notes you hit, but not so much as to be a detriment to the feel of the track - in fact, that much is perfect and really adds to the feel of the track. Now, spacebar has started being awkward, so I'm outta here to batter it with a stick til it decides to behave. I'll talk to you later...
