Are there any other questions that you wish to have included?

If more than one of your entries are honestly the best ones, will 1 be picked for the top 10 and the rest entered into the "honorable mentions"(making it so that several of your designs end up in the game)? Or do they limit it to 1 to "be fair" and trash the rest?

If these questions havent been answered on the GW site (if they have I missed them and a link would be very kind):
-in what degree are the weapons judged?
as in, does a brilliant artist have a better chance of winning than someone who made a somewhat lousy drawing but quite original?
-Is there any limit to how amaturistic the drawings can be?
Of course I'm not asking to take doodles serious, but a LOT of people are allready quitting because they've seen the level of the winners and conclude their art may very well be seen as wasted effort.
Obviously this is about what level of artists can actually compete in the contest, I for one am Certaily not as good as any of the current winning artist, though I'm confident that my work isn't just wasted wood and coal

When I say "we" I mean "we" as in players. Individuals. Devs on the Live Server. No dev can go into the game and put in a Dev Hax code and generate this sword or that amount of gold.

My apologies, but still I can't "parse" in words that don't exist.

Add a new NPC? All of those things take a great deal of programming, and frankly,

That strikes me as taking minimal programming compared to any other option, but you make a point.

Gaile,
You might want to give a more detailed explanation of the "place of residence," as this seems to be the most confusing to people.
You stated that ArenaNet's attorney said it's determined by voter registration, but that doesn't work well as I would believe that quite a lot of GW players are not old enough to vote or have never registered to vote.
So the attorney needs to provide a better definition. Something that will cover the non-voting players.

this is the Bow I submitted last time, didn't win though but the bow that won had a similar design which looked much better.
This year I'm working on a sword and a scythe because I'm blank with bowdesigns.

Here may be another thing to touch base on in the FAQ
You may want to add some stuff on the Judging of Designs. I think it is listed that designs will be judged based on design, creativity, etc.
I think a lot of people that have seen some of last year's designs are afraid to enter because they believe they don't stand a chance in the "quality department". Some people have gone to the extremes and have designed their weapons using 3D modeling and such. Because of this, some people think that their sketches using traditional paper and pencil may be judged unequally even though they may have spent the same amount of time than the person using some 3D software. I am sure that the designs are being judged more so on the creativity and the overall concept rather than what was used to design it. You may want to make it clearer beyond what is already there. With that, maybe those that are a little afraid of submitting a design will send in their best.

I can confirm that other winning weapon entries were named by the devs, so yes, it is the choice of the devs as to whether they give it their own name or use the name you supply.

Woot woot, Gaile you rock!! Gaile is right, you don't need a 3D software to make your design, just check out some of the winner's from before; they were hand drawn!

My only problem with some of the contest winners has been that the design was good in its details, which you can't see in-game. The dragoncrest axe (right name, right?) I was impressed with in concept, but the in-game version is so small that you can't really see anything but an oddly-shaped blade. Some of the fault rests with us designers and some rests with ANet for either choosing designs that can't be converted (with justice) to a model, or not converting the design properly. That axe could have been a lot bigger...
I actually finished my scythe design tonight. I don't even care about winning or getting recognition, I'd just like to actually have a scythe design in the game that I like... The existing ones look like wheat sickles or gardening tools instead of legendary weapons. :-/

Just my thoughts. Part of the wingblade/butterfly sword's blade was converted into the hilt. The idea is good and the pic is cool but Anet might have found it a bit unoriginal.
