Well, the key differences between monk and ele armours are the revealingness and the colour scheme, since this picture is in Black and white, that pretty much means it could be good for either prof.

Who says elementalist armors have to be revealing? =P They're fun, sure, but I'd like to have some NOT-revealing elementalist armors. =)

I actually agree, with Nightfall i think the ele armours have just gotten too silly, it would be refreshing to see something a bit more believable.
Then again, what's beleivable for a wizard?

I agree, some of the Nightfall armors (considering from what I have seen on the screenshots of elementalists with Nightfall armor) just are silly. Silly enough to make me not want to collect them (which is amazing, since I'm a hardcore elementalist fan and I love to collect elementalist armors).
I was looking at the screenshots the other day... I saw the female version of the primeval armor for the elementalist. WTF? WTF is that supposed to be? Wires? Steel sticks? Anyways you get my point.
But I also saw the Ancients armor. Wow, it actually includes pants! It actually looks good too, compared to the first elementalist armor you upgrade to when you arrive in post-searing Ascalon.
P.S. This is off topic, but I was just reading the manuscripts for Nightfall, and the calendar in there shows that it has been "three years" since the Lich Lord tried to open the door in Tyria and since Shiro unleashed the plague in Cantha. When you travel to Elona, do you get some kind of information that tells you that some time has passed? The whole time issue in the game seems out of whack to me.
P.P.S. I don't really like the word "wizard". Reminds me of Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter, but HP and GW just don't go together. "Mage" sounds much more cooler.

Been a while, figure I will contribute something in. Running low on the idea, so figure will do a modification to one of the older design (the chibi one was posted earilier). Was trying to add more into it, but run out of time, so say in the sketch stage for now... Might try to finish it later.. but knowing me... thats a maybe.
hope to see more creative armor designs.

I like the tribal themed Armour, very nice.
After all dervishes should be allowed to wear something different than just hoods. :]

you mean you actually want A.Net to make some assassin armour where every single square centimeter isn't covered with rediculous daggers, knives or esoteric blades that serve absolutely no purpose and if you actually had to wear that much steel it'd be almost as bad as having to wear plate mail save you stand a damn good chance of slicing yourself into itty-bitty peices?
Inconceivable!

I want more style in the clothing, with less 'style' gone into esoteric, decorative blades.

After a LONG spell of artists' chunk, I have prevailed in making up some random armour! *cheers* I'm not sure why, but it reminds me of a genie.

The hair style on the assassin almost looks like Yoruichi's. Of course.. no one probably knows what im talking about unless you read manga or go to Anime Conventions.
