i mean look at the ranger boots, they have the exact same little cone-type thingies on them as the factions starter boots.
Great drawings, but not really anything new.

are they really that similar? i didnt know anything for the ranger's boots, probably should have said that, but the monk armor isn't anywhere near the current canthan one, methinks. anyways, sorry. its not like i just edited an existing armor.

nah not that similar, like the some of the monk armors in prophecy is really similar to each other, but not that similar, you got completrely different details and things on, but the shape of them may be similar to one of the armors....
yes, join us lili, it's fun, you don't need to be any master at drawing...^^
ok, new necro armor...:

EDIT: Ok, here it is in all it's sketched-out glory. The actual piece will have ink, color, and a bg.

:O Very VERY nice Riplox. I love it. If this was implanted into the game it would be the best female warrior armour by far. Loving your idea's too action jack, infact loving everyones ideas. Keep it up

Ok maybe i was a bit harsh earlier about the drawings Silethas did, like i said they were very good and definately beyond my level of ability, i dont want to sound like a hypocrite(sp) after all.
The pictures just immediately struck me as similar, but i see what you mean with the monk armour being difficult to innovate.
Oh and please no quoting pictures, it's pointless and messy.

that might be true, anyway chapter 3 is probably going to have an African theme and that includes some Egyptian areas that would be pretty cool and I think this monk armor wouls fit in perfectly, anyway now I have edited the monk armor to not be so naked and more in monk style
again, like or dislike it:

Too skimpy for monks, assuming they devote their life to religion and therefore chastity and rejecting that whole permiscious (sp?) sort've dress sense / lifestyle.
Personally if you're going to try something with bandages etc. Try play off the monk underwear, that would be a good canvas to have some staff added on.

ok it was about time to make an assassin, i got 3 versions, one without colour normal, without colour with background and in colour.
it's often that drawings looks better without colours.

That monk armour looks like toilet paper and permanent marker, oh im sorry im being rude again.
Um, ok, positive thinking now, you've done well with the assassin armour there, but there really is'nt much scope for creativity with the assassin class, so you deserve a lot of credit for managing to do something with it.
With assassins you've basicly got blue and black, leather, spikes and straps, it's pretty limiting, compared to the amount of variation possible for warriors or elementalists.
However it has just struck me that the monk stuff would be really easy to actually make in RL, thats my next halloween costume sorted then.
