I have been meaning to do something like this for a while, and since i have recently become addicted to guru, no better time. Lets get to it, everytime summer comes around i get the bug for a new tattoo. For the last cple months i've had this idea of getting a custom piece done of my necromancer and perhaps some of my preferred skill icon images in the bg. think the piece will be a half sleeve going from shoulder to elbow. even tho i am a graphics designer, i am not up to par when it comes to drawing, so i figured i would host a contest. I want a piece to remember all the good times in gw, and most importantly pay honor to my necro.

Prizes for Drawings:

1st place: 200k
2nd place: 100k
3rd place: 15 ectos
4th place: 10 ectos
5th place: 10 obs shards
6th place: 5 shards
7th place: 5 lockpicks
8th place: 5 lockpicks
9the place: 5 lockpicks

all other entrants will receive a lil something for their efforts.

Themes for the drawings and things to take into account (however I also encourage ppl to surprise me with their art creations!):

- komma is evil
- has a serious singed gargoyle skull fetish
- fav skills are ss and barbs
- luvs his mini naga
- he is a leader so maybe sitting in a throne would be appropriate

Styles not prefferd:

- Chibi isnt preferd
other then the above use any style your'e comfortable with

General rules:

- you may submit multiple entries (and update you're old ones of course) however only 1 prize each person.
- This contest will end on july 31st (thats over 2 months from now).
- I reserve the right to change the prizes (i will only make the prizes better so don't fear~~), also if there aren't sufficient entries i might consider not giving the first prize but instead the second or third prize, which i hope is not needed off course)
- When the contest is over the winners will be announced and the prizes will be given away in Balthazar's Temple International district 1 (I will send you a message if you have won and ask for a time we can meet to hand out the prize).
- The judges will be myself, some friends, and perhaps some guildies.

Enter as many times as you like, I look forward to hopefully having a badass one of a kind gw piece on my arm in august...good luck all

here's my two cents so far:

(notice the 'komma' in the spiteful spirit's mouth on the second pic ^^)

These are pretty rough I know, but I was trying to keep them simple for a tatoo, feedback would be appreciated.

wow, getting feedback and entries already, great work. i like your ideas, but dont be afraid to use alot of detail. i know a real good tatty artist that can replicate anything. gj so far tho =D

OMG YES!!!!! Though Im not into blood and guts and all that I really like to design symbols and gothic themed pictures (Not gothi as in hardcore emo but like old school buildings) Imma def give this a shot. Does it matter if its only in black and white and on paper? If you want color as well I can try that. : )

that is totally up to you. so far all my ink is black and greys, but i am not opposed to adding some flavor w color. anywho gl and hf, no rush either since this goes till the end of july.

ok ive redone my drawing and started colouring it...it should be done sometime next week, though it depends on how busy i get. hopefully now im done in uni for the year i can spend some time on this and make it look nice for ya
