I agree. The hand is smaller but still the same. I like the piece of string wrapped around his finger and trailing to the table. That table looked kind of empty.
I see that you changed the face and area around it to make it lighter. I liked it the way you had it, it went with what his mood seemed to be. Now the dark behind his head and the back of his head is more pronounced, rather than just blending.
My 2 cents

Just to show I'm still alive and kicking, thought I'd update my thread here. For those who watch my deviant page, you'll have seen some of this, but not all
First up my entry into the official GW Halloween contest (which won me a new companion by the name of Ecto )
The next two are bits from some commissions I've done. Can't show the whole things unfortunatly :P
And lastly, my recent entry into a contest here on guru

Mine was worth every penny. I previously had a dodgey Nisis tablet (cheap A4 tablet that cost around £60-£90). The difference in changing to a similar sized Intuos was really noticeable. Absolutely no stuttering or jerkyness to your lines (thanks to a really high resolution of the tablet) and it's got really great drivers and support (you'll never have to worry about finding spare pens/nibs etc, like with cheaper brands).
So yeah, I can't recommend them highly enough to budding digital artists

He's black, white and worth his weight in Ectos. Hence his name I have spent the last 2 months telling people he's not for sale >_<

Hey Grey your last piece is awesome. I really liked how you didn't take the characters out of context, like how they are still definatelly in the GW world. The little firefly things look great, just some little details like that can make the whole pic come alive more. Your shading style has also changed a bit. Congrats on the win. :] And loool giant boobied eles zomgjf.

Well, I've still been around, just havent been drawing as much as I'd like (or playing GW as much as I'd like come to that). New job, and the evil sub-dimension known as "RL" getting in the way. However, I've been trying to keep my hand in, and entered a few contests, and taken a few commissions on. I've also been trying some different styles too, and as Nian points out, my colouring style has kind of evolved a little bit.
I've actually got quite a few more commissions that I can't show quite yet, which accounts for at least the last months worth of GW art :P.
There are also some new commissions in the works too, including a follow up of the twins seen in the last contest entry. That should be fun
So yeah, I'll try and keep the thread alive a bit more when I can

The Fox has returned!
But I must ask, what is with the...*cough* larger devices that are equipped to the women? It has a very big (pun not intended) 80's fantasy-cliché feel to it.

They are elementalists... :P :P Though to be fair, I think I may have gone a little overboard >_>
Once the painting is underway, they might see some "reductions". Also, the hair's not quite right either. As for 80's fantasy-cliché, bring on the Royo!
