I was having second thoughts about my commission, but bugger that! It's amazing! When will you pick the next one?

Shan/Secus's competition deadline is 21st of April, So certainly not much later than that. Hopefully, I'll have their work done before the deadline though, in which case, it'll be sooner

Who cares!?
Can't wait till you post the finished product in higher resolution. I need to get a poster print of that one, even though I don't even know who's character that is!

Pants are overrated.
And that's just... wow. You're very good at doing backgrounds and getting just the right mood with colours and poses. I think you still need to work a bit on your anatomy, but that comes with time and can't be rushed. Your drawings are so awesome like this too!
I'd love to commission you, but... well, my money situation isn't too stable. Any chance for an art-trade? Or how much would small portraits cost (about waist up, and only if you decide to draw my character)?

Actually, I would be interested in some art trades with some of the more talented folks on guru, yourself among them. However, as I've said many times recently, I've not got much time to work on pictures. So, as long as people didn't mind waiting for a long stretch I'd be more than happy to do art trades

Also, here are a few speed-paints I did trying to nail down a background. Still not sure if any of those will be "it" but some of them are quite pretty nonetheless.

First one for sure pretty pretty!, I do think her lower legs are a bit on the small side (including feet) and her chest a bit broad. (on the right side, the chestline is intercepted by the arm, I think the upper line should be a bit more to the left). I also think you left too much head visible on the lowerleft sie of the ear. Now she has a large head, but I think you will shade that awesomely so that won't be seen after coloring .
Awesome!
