A little more on Unlucky Slayer's ranger.
Finally decided on a background location - the lovely plains of Noob Island, Cantha

Think that would be "his" arm >_> I tinkered with his left arm holding the bow, because that looked odd, but his right, drawing the bowstring, seems ok to me...
Anyways, here's the last one for tonight, started on the basic background painting.

It looks great so far! The only think that slightly annoys me is how the bow seems to be pointing straight at the moas head. Like he's about to shoot it. But I might just be imagining things.

"That's right damnit bird! You BETTER run faster! This arrow causes poison AND burning!"
I just see it as though he's aiming beside the moa's head...

Very very nice Fox.
Can't wait to see how my Ranger picture looks in colour. Speaking of which how is that coming along?

lol grey, i saw the preview at the top of the page and was about to shout at you, the black moa is more of an echovald themed bird, but then I scrolled down and saw the preview improved. Your work still amazes me, great work man!

Yeah, looking at it, the green/blue gradiant on the sketch is horribly ugly :s not sure what madness made me do that.
Buuuuut! It's finally done!
This must have been one of the longest commissions I've worked on, from sketch to finished piece, but I think it came out alright in the end. Hope Unlucky Slayer will think it was worth the wait
Also, thought I'd give you an example of the difference a few effects and after-lighting can make on a picture:

Fantastic work mate, probably one of the best peices of work done by you so far. Do you use normal mouse in photoshop or do you use one of those board pen peices of hardware? Once again, lovely peice of work man lol last question, you still taking commissions?

Don't mind Tan, he's just a noob who's jealous I didn't buy him his daggers! Guildies ftw! >_>
As for the work, it's all done inside photoshop, with a graphics tablet. And saddly, no, I'm not taking more commissions at this time, I've already got far too many to be working on

Great job on the ranger Grey! Looks like he is saying:
"You throw me off your back again turkey legs, and I'm gonna give you an arrow shaped eyeball."
ah well, back to work.........
