Devourer in Spore
I made this a few months ago, but never thought to post it here. I'm not a visually artistic person by any means, so this will probably be my only contribution to this forum:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtY_s7BLBTQ Unfortunately, I couldn't get the color scheme right and certain traits were difficult to recreate (devourers have extremely tiny eyes and mandibles), but I think I did a fair job at it. Being partially color blind doesn't help, either. Update: Here's a Preying Lance I just made. Thanks for the positive feedback, guys. I'm going to try and create a Nightfall creature next time...I find the bugs to be really interesting.

Good job in the recreation, perhaps you'll be able to get even closer in the full version!
