All of the lines work perfectly with the tune. Pronounce "maverick" with 3 syllables. "Dei-cide" is pronounced "dee-a-cide".

Yes, I know a couple of those are only half-rhymes. Don't like it? Write a better one

Verses I wrote but couldn't use:
We made it through the Shiverpeaks with ample help from dwarven ale
That's when we found out when he drinks the Prince sings like a nightengale

In Lion's arch I found myself sucked into local politics
To my surprise the Mantle were all homicidal lunatics

The Mantle let me join their ranks for what I thought was bargain price
Of course that was before I found they're into human sacrifice

I fled into the jungle, they were irked by my ingratitude
I ran into some rebels with a disrespectful attitude

I'd love to do a video of this, but I've already got too many projects going. If someone else wants to, go for it. And you'll have to sing it, too, because I'm not a tenor.

I may well be writing more of these, though. I'm thinking "A More Humane Mikado" as sung by Shiro, or something along those lines... G&S just lends itself to filking, I think. Ideas, anyone?
