Which do you guys think is cooler? Personaly I like rikimaru more. But then again I suppose I am biased because I have been a fan of the tenchu games since I was 8 (16 now).

Also to find out why I like rikimaru so much check out this vid on you tube of him and two other ninja stealth killing a bunch of dude in many many ways.

I was 8( I think) when i first played this! Imagine how doing these things scarred my childhood.

Yeah I had the hardest time of all toons to find a half decent armor for my assassin in GW. And yeah, they lose out by miles if you compare them to off game assassin art. But hey, you sure don't play a sin for the looks in Guild Wars.

the real ninjas obv, i mean the GW ninja looks like so less stealthy. The only armor that look stealthy is the starter armor+ a few others. The rest got spikes or something, i mean if you try to be stealthy in them youd probably get caught easy.

That Rikimaru dude does look pretty cool. Gotta say tho I really like my armor combo for my assassin in gw. But they still could make some adjustments.

You should. If you want to play the play the whole series then you would need a PS1, 2 or 3 (does PS3 have backwards compatability?) the old games were originally for the PS1 so you would have to deal with bad graphics. But you would be able to follow on wtf is going on and how everything is as it is and who some of the charecters are. If you want the version shown in the vid, that one is tenchu 3 (return from darkness [xbox] wrath of heaven [PS2] or is it vise versa?).

The newest installment of the game is called tenchu Z [xbox 360 exclusive]. I havent played it yet. but what i know is this

1: You dont play as rikimaru or ayame, you create a new charecter

2: you can play with up 2 4 friends online

3: the combat supposedly has a great new assortment of moves but they are executed poorly or so overcomplex you will just want to stay in shadows for your stealth kills.

Also tenchu 4 is being released soon as well but this will be a nintendo wii exclusive :'(
