Mistical Miss' commission thread
Hello fellow art lovers,
So, I decided I could do some commission work aswell (till now I have done mostly art trades and a few requests).
Because of the thread "say no to commission queues" I will try out some ways of doing commissions to see what fits me best.
First of all I'm going to try out something wacky.
Price per amount of time invested on drawing.
I was thinking around 2k per 15 minutes for starters because I'm not that good :P and I like to draw quick. This way both the rich can get what they want, and the poor can get what they like.
Now I don't want to do some half drawn bodies so I have figured a way to solve that aswell.
Just name the global price range, chances are I will dive under it a bit or walk over it a bit to make the body/background complete. Needless to say, more time means + colour, short time = sketch.
I can do both digitally and hand drawn/coloured art.
I will list some of my work and the time it took me:
From old to new:

~3 hours

~5-6 hours

~5 hours
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...aSketchOne.jpg
~1,5 hours

~can't remember short for each, but long in total (like half 15 minutes to half an hour for most of the characters)

~1 hour

~4 hours I think

http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...agoMortis1.jpg
~2 hours (hating legs)(and shoulders)
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...ss/Noanian.jpg
~4-5 hours (first time digital, took some time to figure it all out)
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...Lunacolour.jpg
~4 hours (trying out oil on canvas digital, its a horror, I don't think I'm going to finish it)
http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...s/mummie-1.jpg
~2,5 hours I think, found out about the layer system :P
As for how to post your commission request:
Pictures, small bit of backgroundinformation so I know what the character(s) is(/are) like.
Ingame name
Price range you are looking for (art trades are cool aswell )
Digital/pencil/watercolour/other paint/crayons/colored pencils/whatever pick one :P or two ^^
Some additional information: I currently have to work hard on a school project but I often find myself doing other things >.< so I could work on some commissions.
I will work down the list, but I may do some works at the same time, meaning that a 5 hour piece will probably be finished in several days, and a 1 hour piece may come inbetween.
No more than 5 people on the waiting/working on list. No reserving! You better check the threads often!
I won't draw the same person twice in a row, perhaps when there is a big gap I will.

Oh wow, I'm so excited about being first in line... I would so love to have one of your drawings of my monk.
http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/4746/aralazq9.jpg is a few shots of my girl, although I'm happy to provide more if you need.
I've always thought of my monk being sweet, and innocent, almost angelic, if that's enough information? lol.. She seems so tiny, so she's almost like a little girl, just out to try and make the world a better place? My IGN is Arala Starsong, and I absolutely love the piece you did for Nian and Noanoa, so I guess that's the kind of work I'd be interested in, but I love your pencil sketches too.
Price really isn't a problem, so I'd just be happy with whatever takes your fancy, leave it up to your good taste to see how much work you want to put in.
Thankyou very much!
