Long ago, when the world was young and civilizations arose, a new kingdom was born. It was called Pehlareh. Far to the east of the high ascalonian plains, the kingdom of Pehlareh was considered the jewel of Tyria (world). The reason for that title was the powerful possession the king of Pehlare had. It was said to be the last remaining object let by the gods on earth (not to speak of those kept in Arah). However, one day, such prized possession was destroyed by order of the king himself, for reasons unknowned. On the same year of the destruction of the secret possession, Pehlareh was attacked by the Zvans, a race of magical warriors that reduced to ashes the "Jewel of Tyria".
That was a long time ago, the world is now old and civilizations crumble, and a new evil is rising...

I've decided to create comics for my account characters and involve them in an intresting storyline. You don't need to bother telling me the ballons should be round and that they shouldn't leave the squares because I've already got those replies at gwguru and I'm currently working on an improved chapter 5. If you want to comment, do it to say if you like or not the storyline, the characters, the jokes, etc. Ok?

Good, one reply. Well, at least someone is still interested.
Ok, I've updated the first post with descriptions of some of the characters, unfogging them where they can be unfogged, but not covering the details that are still supposed to be secret. I made this to give some more depth to the characters, and I believed it worked quite well. Some of them do not have descriptions, either because any information would give too much away about them, or because I'm still making them.

I was wondering if the lacking english sometimes is on purpose or not... to give you some backup, I like the humor keep going. Ill surely keep checking this thread to read new episodes.

There were some mistakes in older versions like "firendship" instead of friendship, and I'm not proud of making. However, in future episodes, that will no longer happen, as I found someone to correct my comics before release. If you happen to find mistakes in the current episodes, please pm me so I can correct them.

It has been some time since the last episode, since the past story of Hadiro and Xai was told. Now, however it's time to focus on the present. In Tyria, Ascalon faces destruction, and only the greatest heroes can save Adelbern's kingdom.

While the people of Ascalon face destruction, Hadiro remains a fugitive of the Empire, of his old friend, and of an even darker power, one that will not rest until he's captured Hadiro Chai.

Yes, it's a new episode. It came sooner than I expected and that's good. I hope to hear your thoughts on the episode.

P.S.: Do you know Chai (from Hadiro Chai) is the chineese word for tea? I swear I didn't know that when I created him.

As you may have noticed, the next Episode of the Crystal Guard will be the 10th. When I first started making the Crystal Guard comics, there were lots of flaws, mainly in the strips organization and writing mistakes (some of which, unfortunately, I still occasionally make). At the request of several repliers, I conducted a change in the comics. I changed the square ballons into round ballons, also changed the character display on the left of each page, and some other small things. Now, five episodes later, I see myself before a new problem: Pages are getting too big. Episode 10 would be the biggest ever. I thought I should split each episode into smaller pages, all with the same size.
I proceeded to make episode 10 from scratch, but that cost me more time. And, as time moved on, I realized, I was taking too much time and, as soon as school started, I would have even less time for the comics ( I want you to know I do not feel pressurized in any way, to hurry the comics).
Also, I had the idea of posting one page of the episodes each week. That would both show I'm still making them, and give me time to make them.
I know, there'll be times when I can't provide a page each week. I know I'll probably need to take a break sometime, but for now, this is how the comics will be.

Nice works there. i see you have to do a fair bit of editting to get the shots you want. I also like the way you have the character down the side. As for the story, not much to say really, its ok with some funny bits. but one thing, that necro keeps chnageing her armor is that meant to happen?

The girl necro? You're the first person to notice that, aside from me, but it was only after I had posted the episodes. It was unintended. There's also something weird about episode 2, when Hadiro is running from the Jade Brotherhood, his shadow was running opposite to him. I left that on purpose, showing that Hadiro was doing the contrary to what he should be doing, and that is to fight.

This sunday I release the first page of the episode. I hope you like it, although it may seem too short. Note: That comment about assassin's endurance means he had an ancestor with that profession. If that's relevant to the plot or not, I can't tell, but it sure is curious, isn't it? Next page will feature Gwen, in a way she was never (that I've known of) portrayed like in a GW fan comic.
