Guild Wars Dancing
Alright, so I'm a pretty big fan of the "Where the Hell is Matt" videos. And for my first machinima I really wanted to pay homage to the series. So this morning I spent about three hours filming and editing just that.
I decided to use Guild Wars as the base of the video because of all the awesome locations you can go to. Anyhow, here's the video. Hope you all enjoy:

Note - Since this is my first machinima there are a few, though not many, haphical errors in the recording. This will be fixed in future machinima that I do.

A for effort, C- for execution.
It's been done before. And with the correct music.

Also, should be in Nolani Academy, not Riverside Inn.

I was going to use Praan, the song from "Where the Hell is Matt 2008" however there is copyright issues behind that. I try to emphasize creative commons in my videos so I only use creative commons music. So that's why I'm not using the actual music. Also, Youtube's doing a thing now where they will forcefully disable the audio on videos using copyrighted music, which would make the entire video pointless if that happened. I believe you have your grading mixed up though. Based on what you said it seems like the video should be an A for Effort and B or low A for execution. The audio was your only issue but the overall presentation, in my opinion, is superior to the other video.
As for the forum location, you're right. I clicked the wrong link by accident. So if a mod could move it that'd be great.

I never saw the point in the "Matt" vids, boring compared to that Frosty Inc. german guild that does those awesome dance videos. =P
A more interesting song would make it better

I have to agree with you, Wilhem, the overall presentation is far superior to the other video. It also looks like you took more effort to achieve a higher quality, rather than just mimic Where the Hell is Matt.

Frosty-Inc was disbanded a while ago, their dance videos are still the epitome of epic win.

If you read what I said then you'd know that this was my first attempt at any form of machinima, and it's merely a test video to see what is and isn't possible. Nothing more, nothing less. Those guys have probably been doing machinima for years. To compare me to them is just something a troll would do.
Though honestly that second video looks extremely easy to do. Just find a generally green area, have someone stand in front of it, record them and then key out the background. Simple chroma keying 101. The first one was much more masterful.
