That staff: http://wiki.guildwars.com/images/e/e3/The_Trickster.jpg
Next to the mesmer the ele, with tyrian armor dyed pink (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Galle...t_Tyrian_armor), casting meteor shower like in the cinematic ( so floating and like they do in the game, i know you have a ele hehe, and the eyes sparkling)
Weapon set: Tormented shield and chaos axe dyed pink
And finnally the rit carring ashes and with a spirit behind like this:

I think the theme is just lovely, so no suggestions there!
Don't worry too much about close-ups, as I use my other half's account to get screengrabs from character creation to make sure I have the facial look right, and I can easily spot from the ele and Mes images which combos you've used. Might need one of the rit, unless you want her to have her head gear on.
Great screengrabs, will be very useful. Thanks.

Do you do partial body images? I would like an image of my mesmer from the waist up, with some mountains in the background. I can provide screenshots from the Shiverpeaks if you want me to, although just some vague outline of mountains will be enough.
How much would that cost? And how long do you think it will be? A week or so? More?
Screenshots later, when I get home from work and get to check my vault.

Aye, I've been bloody useless. Though I was actually still on my honeymoon when this one went up.
Okay, sorry guys. Yeh I got back from my honeymoon in the second week of July, but things have just been insane one way or another since then. I actually haven't logged into Guru all this time at all, and when it got so long I was starting to get embarrassed.
However I got a kick from one of you via email so I'm back to let you know what's been happening. Unfortunately because I'm freelance I pretty much have to take every job I'm offered as I never know when I'm going to hit a dry patch, and getting married put a pretty serious dent in my finances... so I haven't actually had a day off since I got back. Which is no excuse, and I sincerely apologise for my lack of communication.
This weekend is a pretty good example, I was fully expecting to have nothing but some website tweaking to do for a client until I get a phone call on Friday afternoon from a regular client who needs a complete pitch doc designing for Monday morning.
I can't quite believe it's been 5 weeks since we got back, it all seems like a blur.
Also, my hubby bought me a wacom Cintiq for a wedding present and I've been struggling a little bit with it as I've used an Intuos for the last ten years. I upgraded my PC to Vista last week and lost a day to that as well.. fun fun.
Anyway, as far as progress goes. I do currently have Moral55's Necro in the painting stage. I really can't put definite timelines on work, but I will say that if you're at the bottom of the list it may be at least a month before I can get to it, depending on the complexity of the preceding works. Realistically, at the moment the only times I get to work on my own stuff (such as Guru) is after about 9pm at night, and the weekends if I'm lucky, and since we got back from the US the only time I've been able to do that was the other night when I managed to do a doodly paint.. still trying to get the colour calibration right on the cintiq.
So once again, my apologies. Hopefully I'll be posting again pretty soon, my painting has got a little slower with this new cintiq but I'm starting to get the hang of it. If anyone wants to be removed from the list just let me know and I'll adjust it. This is entirely my fault, I should learn to manage my time a bit better.
Haven't even played GW since the Dragon Fest and then I only logged onto to get tokens for the hat (while I was on honeymoon ). I've been logging in to check my toon's birthdays and that's it.

Thanks, yes I would always put some sort of background in. When I refer to backgrounds as a higher price I'm really referring to landscape or building detail. Abstracts like the one in my avatar don't take nearly as long. Well ok, painting explosions can be a bit time consuming, but still not too bad on an avatar scale.
Ok, got a work-in-progress for Moral55. I've repainted a few parts of it since I started (dang Vabbi armour!), and repositioned her line of sight a bit so she's looking at the skull rather than straight forward. There a couple of anatomical issues annoying me now I'm looking at it flat on (been using a Cintiq to paint with, still haven't got quite used to it yet).
I think the skull needs taking down / scaling back a notch; it's becoming the focal point, which it shouldn't be. And there's a lot of detail to go in yet, so please excuse the glaring yellow at the front of the dress and the lack of background. I want to work out how the light is distributed before I finish out the background.
I'm pretty sure I should be able to get this done by the end of this week, I only really had yesterday afternoon and some time tonight on it since my last post.
gah I'm so long-winded!
Oh, just remembered. Is her hair colour right? Easy to change if it's not. I tried sampling from the images and rolled a necro to check hair clours but I'm still not sure.

Ooo, Sara I just had to comment that the necro you're working on is absolutely lovely. Very creative and detailed, and even if it's not finished I'm still very impressed. Can't wait to see what you come up with in mine!
Which reminds me, you don't have to worry about Urgoz's Longbow in the shot anymore, just the black elite druid armor and Howl if you could. Let me know if you need more pics or information and I'll happily supply them (will get those faster through PM though).
P.S. Don't know if I mentioned this or not or if this is the default but I'd like the avatar to be in color please. *runs to make money*

Nice to see you back Saraphim. I recognise with the nature of your work and stuff it might be a while before my commission is on its way, no need to worry, theres no rush! Great work on the necro.

Thanks for your patience guys This last year has been pretty scary for me as I left a job I'd been in for 7 years to go freelance, and now I'm doing work for them again but charging 50 % more .. buahahaaaa.
Still working on the Necro, cracked the thing that was bothering me, head was slightly too big and needed moving to the left a tad. Will post again before the weeks up.
