Inspire me! The first character to immediately catch my attention and get my creative engine going will receive a free artwork. You can use any means necessary to catch my attention; pretty screencaps, cool costumes or character design, character bios, bribes (hypocrisy FTW)... I need some practice to see whether I've grown at all since last time I did a commission. Reason below.

I'm planning to open a new commission thread for the summer holidays.
I've got to start over thanks to a few difficulties with previous customers, which I hope never repeats itself. You'll see it pop up around here when I'm ready to take on requests.

Kerwyn gazed over the battle-scarred field at the effigy in the distance, cursing under his breath at the foul mangy animals that had destroyed his home. He gave a silent order to his men to move up on the unwary group of Charr. He and his men had marched for a day on a hint of a Charr leader in the area, that tip was good. The Charr leader, almost twice as tall as his fellow Charr was chanting in a guttural, unintellectual language. Raising his arms to his false gods as other charr fed the flames. He fastened the buckles on his shield and checked his armor. He had been to hell and back on his journey to kill the Vizier of Orr and the Charrs "gods". Now all he wanted in life was to wipe out every useless one of them. He looked around seeing his men in position, with a thunderous yell they charged the warband and began to slaughter them.

Would be great if you did him, but only if you want to/ he inspired you The Sword is Runic and the Shield is Crude if you could not see

Kerwyn was born in the grand kingdom of Ascalon. Raised as a simple merchant's son. He spent many days killing the worms in the farmers garden only to be chased off by the wolves that lived there. As the encroaching charr army began to infest the Northlands he was enlisted into the academy. He was trained as a warrior and was always one of the worst in his companies. As the preparations for war where made he was called to serve in the spearhead ranks. They began their charge on the charr armies and tore through their ranks. All was going well as the captains shouted of the upcoming victory when the sky turned blood red. The following event was only to be known as the searing. The skies rained fire killing men and charr alike the chaos of battle left young Kerwyn in a pile of bodies unconscious. When he awoke it was silent. He was about to get up when he noticed a charr leader with several Blademasters walking down the battle-field. They came up to his pile and two baldemasters began devouring the corpses. He clsed his eyes tight praying to the gods for them not to take him, he did not want to die. When the blademaster closest to him was about to tear into him the leader shouted something and they left. Just as they began to move Kerwyn heard a groan. Another soldier was awaking only to be torn apart by the leader and eaten alive. His screams of terror made something break in Kerwyn as he grabbed a sword and killed the leader and blademasters in a violent fury. Stabbing and slashing them far past thier points of death. He wandered till he was picked up by a scouting party and returned to his home. He quickly raised through the ranks and eventually went through the flameseekers prophecies and returning to eliminate every bestial abomination from his homeland.

How about drawing my "Surfmaster Subotai" going for gymnastics?
After all assassins are very agile and should be quite good at this stuff.

my personal favorite is the high bar (except that it ruins your hands

) but i think there are a lot of nice poses in other elements of gymnastics as well.

PS: hooray for Harley Quinn cos!

we were running aroud as a big batman villains group this year (and by chance met one lonely batman as a victim)

My mother was an Necromancer High Priest of a small cult, which name I cannot say. My father on the other hand was a Priest.. He was an Healer.. I realise that is an odd combination and everyone condemned my father for falling in love with my mother.

When I was little I always spent my times in the Graveyard, Death fascinated me. I remember the first time I raised my first minion, my cat had died and I did not want to lose it..

I knew my mother was able to exploit corpses and make them work for her. This of course my Dad didn’t like. “Let the dead be dead” . So I looked in one of her books and quickly found the spell that would make a minion. I went back to the place where I had buried him and started chanting the spell. I had no idea what I was doing but at that moment it felt all natural. And I succeeded! My first minion, my first Necromancy act. The only downside was that the following day my father had it killed. But I knew what I was destined to do. What I was destined to become...

I was to become a great Necromancer, one that would control an army of minions...

Short Summary:

Chole is no child...after her family was killed in the searing she set off on her own on a quest to truly bring peace to the world despite only being 17 at the time. She's always accompanied by her trusty Melandru's stalker, Archangel, which is Chole's favourite word, she likes it so much, she's actually gave herself the nickname of Chole The Archangel.

She has a darker,secret sister who tries to kill Chole [the better half of the two] so she can cause total chaos in the world. But somehow, Chole always manages to out-thwart her! She has a passion for justice and peace and hates anything what prevents that happening.

She's not scared of challenges, or a fight. But she chose to be a ranger because she truly thinks the bond between humans and pets are strong and nature is a true blessing of beauty to all, which is why she chooses Melandru as her patron God and Lyssa not far behind. Her fav place to hang out is the Isle Of Meditation, where she's often seen turning her head in the same direction as the wind to feel that cool air blowing her hair back [like in one of the pics]

Her favourite bow is her Deldrimor Bow because of it's style. Her favourite hobbies include Training herself and Archangel, Dancing to funky music and just hanging out with friends. She doesn't cry when anyone's sympathetic about the loss of her family by such a cruel event, because she did all her crying over that long ago, when it actually happened, which was nearly 4 years ago now. But she always unpredictable, who knows where her next adventure takes her...

EDIT-oh my gosh, just stumbled along an old script I made for an abandoned GW series I was planning with Chole as the main char, I'm gonna add it! lol

Chole was taken aback as a mysterious voice said those words, and as she straightened herself up, the center of the dome's floor opened up, and a slim reporter wearing an extremely short dark green glossy skirt and top rose up on a platform just as the dome lit up, so that explained why there were robots at the other side of the dome! Both reporters stepped towards the middle ''I am the ultimate reporter, Giga!'' a robotic voice shouted, and Chole jumped back-this was no reporter, it was merely a dancing robot created to defeat Chole! ''You think a reporter without soul can outdance you Chole?'' Fusion asked Chole as she taunted Giga, ''I've got this one covered'' she replied.

Biography:
Was born back in a time when Dhuum was still the God of Death, Konig was turned into a lich when he asked for power to kill those who were trying to kill him (who they were is now unknown, only Konig knows, as he killed many different groups of people). He was forced in his contract to Dhuum to act as a “living” Envoy for years, until Dhuum fell. But even then, Grenth forced Konig to continue duties, but in a more just matter.

When Abaddon rebelled, Konig made a deal with Grenth. Konig would help defeat Abaddon in exchange for his freedom. The deal was made and upon the victory of the True Gods, Konig’s duties were over. Konig enjoyed his freedom for many years, but soon (to him) became bored with nothing to do. He was witnessed Joko’s turn into becoming a Lich, and saw Thorn turn mad in life – which was partially caused by Joko’s turn into becoming a Lich. Konig now celebrates Thorn’s return with much eagerness, as he enjoys the slaughter that Thorn brings about – as he says, Halloween is a time for him to increase his “Deadite Army.”

Two hundred years ago, Konig sided with Palawa Joko in his war against Elona, but when Joko lost, Konig lost interest and left for Tyria where he met Mage Lord Odran. Lord Odran tricked and trapped Konig, using his energy to power some of the first portals. After the creation of the portals, Odran quickly locked Konig in the catacombs underneath Ascalon, where he was stuck there until 1070 AE. In 1070 AE, Azazel freed him when the Necromancer Order of Ascalon complained about a foul presence in the Catacombs that was, until recently, dormant. Upon freedom, Konig was sent north of the wall with Azazel to put a dent in the Charr’s invading force; here they met Agares Hastur – a very recent prisoner of the Charr. While north of the wall, the Searing occurred, the group only returned to “find bodies for rebuilding my army that was destroyed with Joko” as Konig stated.

Ooh, free art! Here's my MM Gui Qiang.

Here's a little bit of bio:
Ming Gui Qiang, Necromancer/Assassin: born in 1567 CC to Ming Zhao and Ming Fu Mei, the owners and operators of the Shing Jea Arena. She has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her maternal uncle Ji Fei as a necromancer, and was admitted to Shing Jea Monastery at the astonishingly young age of fifteen. There, she encountered a group of young Dervishes from Elona who had brought with them an obscure Grenth cult calling themselves His Benign Disciples. She took wholeheartedly to their beliefs, which portray Grenth as a benevolent god who masks his true features with an animal skull and takes on an imposing persona to encourage righteousness, and is now utterly convinced that she is not only one of his chosen few, but indeed his wife. Whether or not she is truly Grenth's beloved is up for debate.

Hey, welcome back to Guru

Entering Eryn for pure cheek.

She's my absolute favourite character, has been through every possible situation in GuildWars and is very special to me. I do not usually make up stories and pasts for my characters, but here's a short paragraph of something I wrote a while ago, which gives you a bit of an idea. Anti-heros have always appealed to me, and I felt that the strong angelic reference in paragons had to be balanced and contrasted with something sinister.

Though barely past noon, the weak sun cast but a deceptive, fleeting light over the vast, bleak ridges of the Poisonous Outcrops. This far in the north, Abaddon’s dark clutch was almost physically tangible, defying the otherwise supreme reign of Elona’s sun. The continuous battle of day and night has plunged the region into perpetual twilight, occasionally broken only by vicious flashes of green where Abaddon’s poison prevailed over the seemingly impenetrable black rock. A haunt of the undead. A haunt of demons.

Eryn had long since given up wondering why time upon time she felt drawn to this forbidding place. Brought up by the Sunspears, Eryn had never known her parents. The order had educated her, trained her to fight darkness and injustice and had christened her with a surname they felt would plant fear into the hearts of their enemies. Yet somehow she had always known that there was more to her past. Something no one knew, or no one told her about. A dark stigma that clung to her, setting her apart from others, inspiring dark dreams and dark moods. A stigma that had scared her in the past but one she had long since come to accept. A stigma that time upon time pulled her to this place like an invisible force, making her wander the eerie paths, lost in dark thought.

I still much prefer a lot of the cheaper armours to the more expensive ones!

Here, I'll give it a try.

Farai Savitri, Dervish of Istan.

Few looking at her would think her to be a threat. For starters, her height - she looks as though she'd be hardly taller than a Deldrimor Dwarf. And with her elegant features and natural grace, she looks like she'd be more at home in a noble household than out in the battlefield.

But in the middle of a fight is where she is most at home, and if there is a battle going on, you can expect her to be right in the thick of things, swinging her scythe and casting spells to destroy those who would stand against her. And she is very good at it.

While she does pray to Dwayna, as she has some familiarity with the healing arts, she is primarily a devout follower of Lyssa, even assuming the goddess's form in battle. She is a native of Istan but fell in love with Vabbi while visiting there on her travels; the culture, the designs, and most importantly, the reverence that they show her goddess.

While she is a talented leader it is not something she prefers and will leave the actual leading to others if possible. She sees herself as more of a soldier than a general, and feels that she is the most useful fighting instead of directing others as to what they should do.

I love my Dervish, she's my main character and I'm almost always on her. And I'm so pleased I finally got shiny elite armor for her

Oh, and the comment I made on her height? I have a screencap I took when I was at Ring of Fire. It's my Dervish, standing next to the merchant, who was a dwarf. I'm not the taller one of the two :P
