Hey everyone,
Ok so I first want to appologize for changing this thread so many times...This will be Version 3 of Mr Fish's Commissions thread. I hope that no more major changes will be made.

First off I want to say that I have learned a ton from working with the free commissions that I selected in Version 1 of this thread. I have a much larger understanding of my strengths and weaknesses as an artist now than I did when I first created this thread, so I thank you guys for that ^^. I have also learned that I would feel most comforetable not charging for my commissions...However, as much as I do enjoy drawing, I will force myself to say "Tips". Basicly if you are happy with the end result of your "free" commission, I will accept any and all tips. I appreaciate any amount of gold. It all depends on how much you, as my customer, are happy with the end result. I want to do it this way so that -because I think of this as a learning experience- I do not force customers to pay for a drawing that they dislike. I love drawing and I also like Guild Wars...A win-win situation ^^.

So again, I appologize for any confusion caused from my constant changing and editing of this thread...But I have now found where I am most comforetable as a commission artist. So without any further ado I present:

Waiting List
Note that I will only take a waiting list of 5 at a time. Once all 5 of the commissions on the list are completed, I will update the list with the next 5. Also, I will SELECT the order of the waiting list: It will NOT always be in the order in which commissions were posted in this thread. I will select the commissions that grab my attention the most. Also, I try to complete the commissions in the order in which they are posted on the list below. Even if one commission takes less time than the one above it, I will always complete the commissions in the order they are on the list. This is only fair to the customer.

Hi guys,
Finished first freebie commission of Valeria's necromancer. Turned out pretty good, although I am starting to find that the coloring stage of my drawings is my biggest weakness...Hmm maybe it would be better (and save me a lot of time) if I were to only do pencil, black and white commissions. I might give it a try with the 2nd freebie commission ^^... Ok so anyway here is Valeria's commission, hope you guys like it

She looks kind of cold blooded, just the way supposed to for a naga.

btw it looks like a little bit of the lower part is cut of by the photo. Could you try to get the whole thing on the camera, don't want to miss a thing

Im not sure but i think you have to post links for pictures because GW Guru wants to save traffic and pictures get loaded from another server.

Hiya ^^. I am very interested in your commission, and I think that I will select it for my 2nd freebie commission. Basicly, the main reason I am doing 2 free commissions is so that I can try different styles and approaches. From drawing Valeria's commission, I learned a ton. For example, I learned that my biggest weakness as a character artist is coloring...Therefor I now know for future commissions to try other styles such as black and white or pictures with only certain colors. That being said, I am going to try my hardest on your group commission, just keep in mind that it kind of an "experiment". (Another reason why these first few commissions are freebies) If you are happy with the end result however, I always accept tips ^^. Your commission is going to be challenging, but I am always up for challenges.

Omg really? Thanks! And sweet with the stuff about challenges, I like people who are up for challenges, helps them improve for next time =].

Yes, all of the chars I posted in Trueflight's Comissions I want in the pic, it wouldn't be much of a GWVM Pic without them =].

you still doing free commissions? If so, I'd love to challenge you a bit! I think it's great that you're starting off doing these things for free, I see you appreciate the fact that an artist never seizes to grow!

Don't have a lot of money atm, so just sign me up if you want some practice sometime, maybe someday I could do a commission for you to make up for it?

This armour should be easy to draw when you're focusing on anatomy and not texture

I suggest using a reference for your drawings, there's plenty of free material (just credit the artist) at www.deviantart.com, just search for a pose/feeling/costume/etc. in the "stock"-category.

If you have read this post before now I want to ask you a favor: FORGET EVERYTHING I SAID! If this is your first time reading this post then I just wanted to say that I have updated this thread to Version 3. You can view the opening post to see the new format for this thread. I am SOOO sorry for any confusion that I have caused...But I think I have made up my mind. Ok, so for clarification I am now doing "tips" commissions. That means that the drawing that I make for you is free, but if you like the end product I accept tips. So...I am still going to complete Kylanf and Little Shenanigan's commissions: dont worry

. I just made a couple changes to the actual format of the thread.
(Kylanf, I will work on your group commission as a project as often as I can. I hope to finish about 1 character per day of the 7 characters in your commission, although I am only human so some days may be slower than others ^^. I have finished drawing 2 characters already, and I am happy with the commission so far. I will keep you updated on request.)

Hey everyone,

I finished Kylanf's group picture of the GWVM Group. Drawing this picture was a great learning experience for me, I learned new techniques and tricks for drawing my pictures. So, I thank you Kylanf for giving me that experience.
