I was aiming for more like

but it ended a little cartoony. Shiny things are a bit hard to photograph too.

I think I need to repaint a darker scale pattern but don't trust my shaking hands to not mess it up. Wingspan is 24".

I might try making some other models a bit later, not sure which or when yet. I have my Nian plushie, a few requests, and my big project I want to finish before October. Anyone have suggestions on what they would like to see? If I like it and think I can make it I will add it to the list.

Man, you're so awesome when it comes to making things. I usually get inspired, start and then never finish it or end up doing a half ass job because I want to get it finished already.

Oh, and I got the black moa chick yesterday!

I made it my deviantID, I hope you don't mind. I gave you credit and I love it love it LOVE IT. Much bigger than I thought it was going to be. You should really commission off some plushies for rl money, I already know you'd be makin some profit!

The moa chick currently resides on my bed when I'm not sleeping in it.
