My inspiration lately comes from watching others, learning from them. I do this by watching obs.

THE SETTING

It's been a hot, humid day in Lion's Arch. Even the mosquitoes are too tired to fly. It all seems quiet as the sun begins to set, yet way up on a hill in the shadow of an iconic lion, is Figo's.

Figo's, and its mysterious owner, can be hard to find. You will always find someone bumbling around LA going WHERE FIGO?! For Tyrian sports fans, however, Figo's is the place to be. Even if Figo himself is down on the pier, preferring to keep a watchful eye from the shore for any patrons desiring to ruin the fun of his customers.

There are large, HD screens, powered by djinn, showing the latest GvG matches. Axes fly, hexes are cast, wounds are healed, all to the delight (or dismay) of the crowd. Bitter rivalries are not uncommon, with cries ringing out of one side paying off the Lag Elves -- mysterious beings who can often act in spiteful spirit by disconnecting players.

Everyone is sprawled out on blankets, sitting in lawn chairs, or jumping around and waving the flags of their favorite teams. The glow of the djinn, as well as curious Krytan fireflies, light up the sky.

The crowd is an excited one, imbibing on all manner of ale, grog, and sweets as fast as the servers can get them out. Goren, a bouncer lent by Figo's patron Pansy Malfoy, stands guard to prevent those who've gone overboard on grog from taking a nasty tumble down the hill. Of course, those who degenerate into trolls are met with a swift Dismiss Condition, and sent to Cantha to file down Elder Rhea's bunions.

Over in a shady corner, the dirty bookie Kun Shao sits waiting for those willing to make a bet on the events of the day. Rumor has it that he's been down on his luck lately, but don't ever count out the man willing to reward eager fans.

As the matches play out, Disco balls sprinkle glowing bees, and even the lion guard crack a smile when a winner is declared at 28 minutes. On some lucky nights, the players themselves have been known to visit the fans, signing hats or weapons as a remembrance of the night's fun.

Figo's, the place to be for PvP.

The music playing is music meant to get the crowd going, without playing over the NYEP HUUH CHUH! of the fighting warriors on the screen.

Nemesis Xero

Armor: Obsidian armor dyed black. Weapons: Dryad Bow/Tormented Recurve Bow/Bow of the Hierophant.

Lux Oculta

Armor: Obsidian armor dyed white. Weapons: Tormented Wand and Focus.

The King Of Metal

Armor: Obsidian armor dyed white. Weapons: Tormented Axe and Shield.

Allysia Alyx

Armor: Obsidian armor dyed yellow. Weapons: Voltaic Spear and Tormented Shield.

These are my main character and the main characters of some of my guildies. I've always wanted to request an art piece of all of us together, but most of the time I'm short on cash or saving up for something, so I never have the money to really do so. So what I'm gonna do is try really hard to inspire you here, because I can't offer you piles of money

I'd understand if you pick someone else because of that, I'd probably go for the money as well

but I can always try.

The idea

I've always really liked art pieces of epic battles/duels like these:

So what I was thinking: I'd really like to see the four of us in an epic, fierce battle like that. We're Kurzick, so my first idea was that maybe we could be fighting some Luxon soldiers in Echovald Forest. After an hour long battle we'd be the only ones left on the Kurzick side, and the Luxons would be short on men as well. There are dead bodies everywhere, everyone scarred and tired but still outraged, vicious and willing to fight until the end. (If you'd rather let us fight some other kind of enemy, or in a different setting, that would be perfectly fine with me as well

.)

I realise that I ask a lot from you requesting this, because the picture would be immense and it would be a lot of work. So I just got a 2nd idea

it would also be very cool if you could draw our characters fighting each other, so like maybe Nemesis and King vs. Lux and Allysia (the teams don't really matter

). Nemesis shooting burning arrows, maybe with her Lynx pet at her side, King slashing everything that moves, Allysia glowing and with wings, floating above the ground like some kind of God, chucking spears and shouting to keep her teammate alive, and Lux throwing fireballs, casting a meteor shower or something like that

the setting can be everything, maybe a burning forest or something else, whatever you're in the mood for

I would be reaaally grateful if you pick my idea, but I know I'm asking a lot from you

P.S. if you decide to draw this, I've always imagined my Nemesis with a scar somewhere around one of her eyes. It's not huge, just a subtle scar, like this warrior face.

So to start off though maybe 30e would spice it up already

(or perhabs instead tormented sword/curses focus, not using m anymore anyway)

So the main attention drawer in the artpiece would be my monk Lucy Gwyneth. Lucy is a young monk, blonde, cute, kind of heart, emphatic, smart, wise, etc etc. I don't know how much you fancy bio's but mine hasn't any

Except for the fact that I hate Anet for not having a panda in gwars, cause I want her too have her panda Tommy! and I cant afford the mini

Anyway like I told you, this will be an artpiece about my monk and her panda Tommy.
what I had in mind was my Lucy riding on Tommy somewhere in china

She is coming from the bamboo (so on the back ground) and then jumps up from a rock. So the picture is a "flying panda with a monk on it" if that makes things more clear (idea's are buzzing trough my head, so hope Im being clear here

)
It would be cool if the view was a little bit from under the panda so you can see his chest aswell, view like he is jumping to the camera.
All the bamboo would be somewhere in the mountains.

Suggestion1: If you really want to spice it up, put an assassin under the rock, jumping trying to hit them but (OFCOURSE!!) Tommy jumps too high!

Assassin would be really jumping and striking at the same time, like guild wars assassins do

Suggestion 2: Lucy on Tommy roaming trough the forest of bamboo having a competition with an assassin getting through it. same shot of the panda flowing in the air, but not there is a jumping sin next to it

Suggestion 3: This time there is some sort of mage, casting in the air some huge kamehameha to the ground, towards tommy & lucy, but they are evading it with a nice JUMP! (oh i'm so predictable

)

Ok here is my second idea I just made up, buy searching for ref pictures

Tommy and Lucy have been fighting a group of assassins (3 or 4 of them down already) at that point more assassins come down from the trees to attack her. Challenge: giving Tommy and Lucy that really exausted but still agrassive look!

I would want to make some scetches to make things more clear so you can really feel the exitement I feel, but not enough time yet

BACKGROUND

We (that is, Starr, Shala, myself, and you, Tzu) have been 'hanging out' here for a while, supporting each other,
communicating, drawing/painting and being drawn/painted, without ever appearing in a picture together.
All of us, I mean. And we (that is, Starr, Shala and myself) think this has to change!!

WHAT WE PROPOSE

An epic group picture! All four of us (yes, you too), in there together, strutting our stuff, to commemorate
an epic alliance of ArtWh0re Gamer Chicks!

SO HERE'S THE CHALLENGE:

The main idea, because we are four gorgeous ladies (no, I'm not exaggerating

), and because the seasons theme is kinda old now,
was to theme the picture as the four queens of cards.

Shala: Queen of Hearts (blood red - red/black)
Opal: Queen of Diamonds (icy necro - blue/white)
Eryn: Queen of Spades (spears ftw - purple/brown)
Tzu: Queen of Clubs - (leaf symbol - green/yellow/brown)

We're picturing this scene:

Tzu, the Queen of Clubs, is sitting on a throne (epic, eh?? no, srsly.). She's throwing three cards at the viewer (Gambit-style)
- these are our queen cards. We'd obviously be on a card each. But we're not just sitting there on our cards - oh no.
We'd be stepping/jumping out of the cards (bit like this mebbe), ready to be Tzu's weapons of choice.
This way, we'd all be in your 'club' (pun

)

THE SCENE
What is going on: Devona (This is my character mind you not the NPC) is holding her beloved cousin in her arms crying at Yoros last breath, while in the background rotscale is roaring in triumph at the defeat of a hero and rage builds up in Devona!
Where: on top of the fahranur ruins where the sun is setting.
When: After nightfall.

Fanfiction ftw!? Also im low on cash since the OTHER commision that keeps getting pushed down and down thanks to bribes XD.

Intent
Well I have to say, you definitely got a LOT LOT better since I started visiting Nolani. Thing is, everything you do ranges from happy to idyllic to goofy. So I am submitting something to this final challenge just for pretty much selfish reasons. IE, I want to see what you draw something I am going to go "AWESOME" at XD.

[note, while drawing the awesome face would make me say AWESOME involuntarily, that counts as cheating, and will not be tolerated :<]

I want to see the dark side of Tzu. All the rage, all the fears, all the madness inside. I want to see these negative facets brought to life.

Proposal
An avatar of you will be in the focal point of the picture (can be your ranger, or even a self portrait if you want). Coming from her will be 10 shadowy figures representing 10 different negative aspects of yourself:

I have included professions for them because 10 seems to fit with 10 gw professions, but feel free to not bother with them.

The aspects should have line tattoos on their body or armor, glowing in their profession's aura color. Also, the tattoos should converge on a glowing word, their "aspect name."

I'll let you decide the composition and pose, but they should still focus attention on your avatar.

Body language and expressions will be extremely important. Each aspect should be distinct and manifest, even without the words as labels.

This one would probably take you to your limits of both comforts and habit. I realize this is an extremely challenging painting, but I think you might be able to pull it off. Maybe.

Setting/scene

World of warcraft style

Vibrant colors, detailed spell effects and epic looking weapons galore!!
Since the new WoW expansion has been announced (cataclysm), i thought id suggest something to do with it

Cataclysm

An ancient evil lies dormant within Deepholm, the domain of earth in the Elemental Plane.

Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.

Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.

My vision is to create the pivotal scene of deathwing emerging into Azeroth once again, with all his bestial fury pouring into the land. An array of color, intense amber fires, against a backdrop of the world as it once was, lush green forests, the contrast startling and vivid.
A few heroes stand against Deathwings arrival, doing everything in their power to weaken deathwing and gain time for the main forces of azeroth to face this threat.
One of these heroes, is a powerfully warlock, attempts to sacrifice her life to summon a demon, from the deep depths of the earth , to buy time for azeroth to assemble its forces.

The scenery should be a destroyed lush land, with a great chasm/vent where Deathwing is arising from, far away, the warlock stands on top of a mountain/hill, chanting into the wind, looking over the destruction that is happening, a great contrast of the lush landscape and searing flames. The fire gives an unnatural but impressive glow to the vegetation making it look more 'magical' than ever when the world was at peace, now the world is in turmoil it looks the most magnificent ironically., the sky is grey/black, with a spiral of clouds over the vent where deathwing is.
The warlock is performing a ritual, there are glyphs etched on the ground around her that glow with a purple hue, perhaps a figure in the clouds, resembling the demon she is trying to summon, reaching his clawed hands down to accept her soul as sacrifice for his services to weaken Deathwing.

The sky would be a Maelstrom type look, with the eye centered over the vent/chasm, the clouds would have a red/black color scheme rather than the blue in the photo.

The demon that the warlock is summoning may looking something like this:
The idea is she is trying to counter evil with greater,darker evil.

However i imagine her with black hair, paler skin, a much more 'evil/seductress' aura, whilst still showing she is powerfull.

In a nutshell, Fiery dragon thing coming to destroy the world, sexy warlock sacrifices herself to bring an even darker evil to counter the fiery dragon

Hopefully this will entice you as i have no money i am hoping my concept is quite epic
