☆ This is ENTIRELY Free to enter.
☆ The thread lasts until Halloween, apx. After that I take no more requests.
☆ I will probably not do exactly what you want, so don't spend time making a "recipé" for me to follow.
☆ I draw non-GW characters, even non-game characters. I can draw characters you like, not just the ones you own.
☆ I don't limit myself to fantasy. Your request may be sci-fi oriented, even if you didn't request it.
☆ I don't know how many freebies I will make, but I'll make them during a 10 day holiday coming up.
I won't post any freebies before I go abroad, or before I've returned, so expect this thread to be dead for a while.

☆ I'm more likely to draw your character if he/she has a fictional personality and plot, go ahead and devise something if you haven't allready added depth to your toon. Post all details here. There's no such thing as TL;DR in this thread.
☆ I'm more likely to draw your character if he/she doesn't include the following: chaos gloves, glasses, headbands, blindfolds, FoW armour, tormented weapons, odd-looking mini pets (like miniature burning titan; it doesnt look like its supposed to be small. Siege turtles do, however)
☆ I'm more likely to draw your character if you appreciate art, and will sincerely appreciate my efforts.

Also, I can't work with commissions during my ten day vacation anyway. I only just might be able to bring my tablet, but I seriously doubt it, otherwise I'll be doing traditional drawing, watercolours etc, and I don't want people who are paying for it to get unexpected results. I might repaint stuff digitally, but I don't know for sure. I don't know how much time I'll have to do illustrations either, so that's why this is all free!

I'm not gonna work on freebies before or after those 10 days, so commissions really don't have anything to do with this.

Hehe, everybody's getting all "OMG you can't!" It is possible to work on several things at once, and often it's the best way to make sure they all are awesome, because if you get bored with one, you don't just hurry to finish it. Stepping away to work on other things is cool.

Tzu, I swear I'm working on your pic. I'm also moving to a new house, but I'll have a really awesome office there. I'm getting all antsy just thinking about it.

I might slide in a request here if I can decide whether I want the Aion version of Opal or my gnome from D&D. *springs into action planning the layout of the new office*

Short Background-Story: Identical twins born in Barradin's Estate under a wealthy family and spoiled like the little brats they were with the finest wines and clothing. Instead of training themselves like everyone else in Pre-Searing, the Fashion sisters remained level 1 and hired henchmen to do the dirty work for them. After the searing they used their immense wealth, beauty, and seductive skills to hire people to complete different tasks for them. At one time, they seduced a prince of Ascalon's royal family with their good looks in order to travel to Lion's Arch. However, once they arrived at Lion's Arch the Fashion sisters bribed Ettins to kill the prince in order to take his belongings. They are two very different characters and although both are only level 1, you need to be afraid of their intellect and wits.

If you could draw my ranger with her white moa, in any way you wish, I'd be really grateful.

Part of her story: Her name is Yasmine Mc Coy. She comes from a noble Vabbi family related to Prince Ahmtur the Mighty and Tyrian nobility. Her family tried hard to make her a "young respectable lady", but she remained a free soul, growing wild under Elona's golden sun. Since when, as a child, he saw in a book a picture of a moa, it conquired her heart and she decided that one day she would travel to Tyria to witness this astonishing, yet domestic beast. When rumors of the unexpored lands on the north and many new and marvelous creatures like the white moa reached her, she could not fight her desire to travel anymore. She went to Kamadan where kormir were recruiting new sunspears, but as soon as possible she left her home country for the wild and misterious North. Her courage was repayed: outside a norn village she saw a group of white moas and, sneaking, followed them to their nest grounds where she stole an egg. Soon enough, from the egg broke a little white chick, who was named Coco. He grew in a valorous fighter and a dear friend, becoming Yasmine's pride and joy.

Sorry, sorry, that was quite a long one. Could be summarized as: "Yasmine loves her white moa Coco" :P

Edit note: I'm going to have to agree with your opinion on headbands. I'm growing less fond of them as well, so easily omitted if you so choose.

Backstory or character is basically a normal ranger, likes to stroll in the woods, hunt, has a pet black wolf.

I was going to go and post my on-hold commission...but I have a decent amount of art for Farai. Instead, I shall give you one of my favorite RPG characters, as I've been playing this character for years, rather love her a lot, and don't have much art of her (unlike Rianna, who I have tons of art of). She is the character I play in a Matrix RPG, and I'm feeling rather nostalgic for that game and wanting to play it again.

Her name is San, and she is the sort where if you took a look at her, you would not think her to be much of a threat. She's a young girl, only 21 years old, and is tiny, standing at 5'1" (155cm) tall with a slender build. Certainly not someone that you would expect to be an experienced and very deadly soldier. She is Japanese and in fact grew up in Japan when she was still in the Matrix, though she is fluent in English and rarely ever speaks her native language anymore (no one she knows understands it).

She is, as I already said, very small. Her hair is just about shoulder-length, black and just a bit wavy, and she has brown eyes. She is relatively fair in skin color, though it's more of a golden-tan tone. She generally wears a sleeveless red cheongsam/qipao shirt, a black shrug-style jacket, black dress pants and black boots. Her sunglasses, if she wears them (she has a habit of losing them with all of her acrobatics) are simple and grey. She only fights unarmed, or with a pair of tanto.

As far as her personality goes, she is generally a fairly quiet person, somewhat serious, and incredibly sarcastic and smartass-y. As she has gotten more confident throughout the game, she has also become increasingly antagonistic and almost arrogant towards enemies...which is not always a good idea, but that has yet to stop her. She has a bit of a temper but is fairly hard to rile up, generally responding to idiotic comments with biting insults of her own. She has a bit of an inability to trust other people, and has a habit of taking matters into her own hands to make sure it gets done. She's also extremely determined, and very protective and loyal to her friends, and has done all sorts of ridiculously reckless and outright stupid things if someone else is in danger. She is the First Officer of her ship, and is decent at planning and strategy, though sometimes has trouble getting people to listen to her. She's not afraid to give a swift kick (sometimes literal) to get attention, though

She's currently out of commission (and absolutely hates the fact) due to severe injuries sustained in a sentinel attack. To put it short, just about every single bone in her body was broken as well as severe internal injuries when her ship crashed during a sentinel attack. No, I don't know how she survived that one either, but I'm not about to complain!

Some examples of the completely ridiculous and slightly suicidal things San has pulled off in the game...because some of them are hilarious...

- Ran straight at an Agent to distract it from beating the hell out of another crewmember (this was in fact the very first thing I did in that game).
- Fought an Agent on a window box outside of an 11th story window so that the others could get inside, which resulted of her being thrown through the side of the box and only barely hanging on by one hand.
- Blew up a building she and the other crewmembers were still in, to get away from Agents.
- Fought an Agent by herself to allow the others to help the injured crewmates escape (if you haven't yet noticed, she plays Agent bait. A lot. And is very good at it).
- Fought an Agent on top of a moving bus.
- Fought two Agents at once, by herself, which resulted in her being punched across a room.
- Used an Agent's head as a springboard while trying to escape from one (literally. She was running along a set of shelves when they decided to topple it over. She leapt off, kicked one in the face, and used the force to flip forward and give herself room to run).
- Leapt off of a balcony and down the side of a mountain.
- Rather suicidally took one of the gunner turrets on her ship, despite having no gun skill at all, to try and distract the sentinels destroying her ship long enough for emergency repairs to be made to keep them all from dying (it worked. Kind of. The ship still crashed and was completely wrecked, and she nearly died, but everyone survived in the end).

...yeah. I know you said there's no such thing as TL;DR in this thread, but I think I just managed that anyway. As for exactly what I'd like to see you do...honestly? Go nuts. I'm quite sure that whatever you come up with for her, it'll be perfectly in character. You have her looks, her personality, and examples of her ridiculous recklessness. Go wild

He would look similar to the above character but with black hair/eyes. No helmet and a black cloak. He is more or less a Mesmer if you need an Idea of what he does. Any weapon should be a dagger.

Description: He will stab you in the back after convincing you you are his friend, he will then convince you once again after stabbing you.

Sorry we have not been able to play much so he has not developed to well yet. He is planning on starting a crime syndicate though. I would not mind seeing him future-ized either, sounds kool. He seems like he would be badass in a trench coat and sunglasses ala matrix. (theres a matrix RPG? would love to try it some time)

* It's a GW character. My ranger in particular. Ref pics here: [1] [2] [3] [4] (or [clicky] here if you wanna see 'em all at once.) Am not tied to a particular set of armor except I don't really like the coat-y armor due to the spikes / random animal pieces. So if the picture calls for pants, go with pants. If she should be covered, cover her. Same with the headband. It's not essential, it's just her current style of the month. The dark red hair is what matters to me

* She has a background and a plot but instead of giving that I'm going to tell of her last moments on Tyria. This is something I'd love to do myself one day but totally lack the skills to pull it off. If you could capture this then guh *_*. If you wanna take it another direction, feel free!

The world of Tyria in 1080 AE is no longer in need of a hero. Gods, envoys and powerful Liches have all been slain. This is not the age of heroes nor adventurers, and Marla is exactly that. For the past few weeks she had been spending time at Ventari's Sanctuary, a hideaway in the depths of Arbor Bay. Her days are spent tending to the plant life around the sanctuary but she dare not go near the sprouting plant that is bathing in an ethereal light. Something in her gut, in her heart is telling her to stay away. "Not now. We're sleeping", she hears in her head each time she glances at the white tree sapling. Her nights are spent sleeping under the stars, listening to the creeks and squeaks the jungle-like undergrowth makes all around.

One night she awakes from her dreams and something in her mind tells her it's nearly time for an adventure, but she needs to prepare. It speaks with the same voice of the "Not now. We're sleeping" chants. It feels familiar and safe so she follows the voice. Originally set out with her bow in hand, ready to fire at the slightest noise or crack of a branch she slinks off into the wilderness, but something in her heart tells her to leave the bow behind. She drops the Composite bow on the ground near to where she was sleeping and she heads off into the trees.

With each step the whole situation becomes clearer. The voices she was hearing were those of the ancient Maguuma Druids and they were ready to invite Marla into their fold. With each step she took towards the druids her own body transformed into the nature spirit form. From her feet and her hands, slowly the magic of the Maguuma consumed her whole body until she no longer had the form of a human. She looked to her new sisters and together they slowly moved off deeper into the Maguuma away from all human eyes to prepare for Marla's next adventure. Little did she know, she would have to wait over 200 years for it to begin.

* In terms of weapons, she prefers Composite bows and Ascalon bow skins to the fancier ones. In terms of minipets she doesn't have one at this point in the story.
