Wow great job! It is really impressive. The overall quality is outstanding, and the the expression of her face is perfect, with this mix of joy and madness and calculated violence.
I'm eager to see what else can you pull out of this comissions. Do you have a DeviantArt page or any other place where I can see more of your work?

Thanks guys.
This one was a lot of fun to draw
@Beren: I don't have a dA. I actually kinda dislike dA, way too much drama, and way too much angst. I know there are some great artists there, but it feels like they are only like .5% of the total population there. I plan to start an art blog eventually, but right now I just have an imageshack account where I store all my drawings (http://profile.imageshack.us/user/xzhsh). There are some REALLY old stuff on there though, so uh :\.
Anyways, while I rly enjoyed painting this, I'm not sure I want to spend so long on each commission... With a pace of 1+ week per cg painting, I don't think I could get through everyone even if I did this all summer... Also, cg desktops takes exponentially more time than color sketches or web sized images. I feel like I should change the format of the commissions, but I'm not exactly sure how... Any suggestions? :\

Well, you might wanna stop taking commissions in, at least:P
I'm not sure what else can be done. People seem to have been wanting somebody can make the pics a little bigger than the average at this forum:P
Finishing the smaller requests first might be a good idea, and the do the larger ones later.
Btw, if you wanna call the commission off we talked about, that's fine, but we won't mind raising the price, to make you do it anyway^^

Bahh. I guess... I was hoping my price was high enough so most people would just request smaller stuff :\ I really didn't expect so many people to commission CG Wallpapers.
Anyhow, I think I most likely wont be taking too many more requests for now. I don't think I want to drop anyone, though I am definitely not doing anything larger than Wallpaper sized for now... It take a bit too long...
Hmm. What if I offered a intermediate level of finish between color sketch and CG painting? like a speed paint, maximum of 4hours done on it. I think it will still look alright, just not quite as refined... Would that catch anyone's interest? :\

Or you can ask people if they'd be willing to downsize their commission, I'm sure many wouldn't mind because of how great that first commission turned out o_o
However, I'd accept anything you'd do =P
Edit: You can change mine to website size, I can fix my post if you want too.

wow, that painting is just amazing~!
I love all those AmFah, I bet you had fun drawing their vicious little features~!
I especially like your use of lighting and the angle of view too~!
as for your future commishes, that depends on your goal ~ if your aim is to make gold, then you could simply name your price .. look at Araiia's thread, she can't take anymore plat because she's approaching the gold cap (there's a gold cap~?!@ )
but if you want to have fun, speeds are the way to go and I'd be all for that~!
not sure how to price it, base it on time is the fairest way ~ if you spend four hours on a sketch, then it's only fair that the recipient spend four hours earning plat for you (idk what a respectable farming rate is, 10-20k/hr~? Ala hasn't any need for gold other than to give it to friends or charities .. or spend on art~!@)
You also have the luxury of choosing your subjects, rather than first-come first-served ~

Mmm. I don't think speed paints will necessarily be much worse in terms of quality... I just did an speed paint, 1.5h of someone in my guild:
(depth of Tyria style )
EDIT: I'm offering a bounty for Pywatt's Talons. Guildy is trying to look for them. I'll offer a free speed paint done right now for the first one that trades me one? ? PM me in game if you want to claim this.
EDIT2: Bounty claimed :P

aah bloody hell, the slots are full already. >o>
by the time a slot opens up you'll probably have already increased your prices /pessimist
I was planning on requesting a 600x400 CG, for the record.

:\ thanks I think...
You can always commission a black and white sketch? :\ I don't think I'm too bad with them. I'd lower my prices, but I take a long time :<
Anyways, I'm going to try out a new style for this commission... a bit more realistic... what do you guys think?

I like your new style a lot, very beautiful and realistic Are you still taking commissions at this moment? If you are, I'm probably going to request a B/W display picture of my ranger in that style, I'm in love with that assassin painting.

Hello, I've been watching your thread, would like a commission of my Ele <3
She's very extreme, loves things that are very hot & fiery, as well as things that are icy cold
A few reference pics of her are here;

A background I randomly snapped;

Something icy or cold I'm thinking, although fiery might work nicely... whatever you decide =)
Tell me if you need anything more of her.
Edit: Totally forgot about my type of commission! :O!
