I know I have not posted too much on this thread... One post about two years ago... But I've posted a contest on GW Incgamers and thought it would be to unfair not to allow everyone here a chance to compete.

I seem to have a bit of money... And I have absolutely no idea what to do with it, and I'm quite a big fan of art so I decided to make a contest, because contests are always fun haha

It isn't that much, only a maximum of 220k, but I thought it would be a bit of fun.

Requirements are immediately below, prizes beneath that, then judging information, and finally a bit of information and photos of my characters. Any questions just comment here or send me a pm!

REQUIREMENTS:
1. First and most important! ALL Drawings must be appropriate! No higher than a PG-13 rating, preferably PG. I would hope this would be obvious, but I'll place this here just in case.
2. You must include at least one of my characters in your drawing. Character is of your choice.
3. Setting is open to you! Whatever you wish to do, do it! As long as it fits within rule # 1. Does not have to be within the Guild Wars realm. ie. You can have my character sitting beneath a tree, in a library, or even stuck back in high school, backpack and all. BE CREATIVE!
4. Clothing worn by characters is your choice! As long as it fits within rule # 1.
5. If you decide to change the clothing worn; it is preferred that the hairstyle be the same as my character, I wish them to be recognizable. (This is preferred even if clothing remains the same but not as much)

YES! It is possible to win 1st place by drawing only ONE character!
YES! It is possible to win 1st place by NOT colouring your drawing!
NO! You DO NOT need to draw more than one character!
NO! You DO NOT need to be a really good artist to win! (An example of winning by not drawing well is by adding in a caption, possibly humourous?)
(Being a good artist, drawing additional characters and colouring may however help your chances of winning.)

PRIZES:
I have set up the prizes so that there are more winners if more people submit (As well as better prizes!)
I also want to reward those who spent more time by drawing multiple characters by giving out 2.5k per additional character of mine drawn.* (Maximum paid additional is 5k. That is two additional characters. Only 1st - 10th place will receive this bonus, Possibly honourable mentions as well.)

If one (1) to five (5) people submit; The prizes are: Total – 105k [117.5] [130k]
1st Place – 50k [Two characters drawn – 52.5k : Three characters drawn – 55k]
2nd Place – 25k [Two characters drawn – 27.5k : Three characters drawn – 30k]
3rd Place – 15k [Two characters drawn – 17.5k : Three characters drawn – 20k]
4th Place – 10k [Two characters drawn – 12.5k : Three characters drawn – 15k]
5th Place – 5k [Two characters drawn – 7.5k : Three characters drawn – 10k]

If five (5) or more people submit; The prizes are: Total – 170k [195k] [220k]
1st Place – 75k [Two characters drawn – 77.5k : Three characters drawn – 80k]
2nd Place – 50k [Two characters drawn – 52.5k : Three characters drawn – 55k]
3rd Place – 25k [Two characters drawn – 27.5k : Three characters drawn – 30k]
4th Place – 10k [Two characters drawn – 12.5k : Three characters drawn – 15k]
5th and 6th Place – 5K [Two characters drawn – 7.5k : Three characters drawn – 10k]
7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Place – Choice** of a common stack (250) of materials from list below***
7th – 10th Place also receive [Two characters drawn – 2.5k : Three characters drawn – 5k]

*To receive bonus the additional characters must be one of my characters. Bonus does not extend to any character not mine that you may wish to include. Bonus INCLUDES any of my characters PETS.
**To prevent fighting over which materials given I may give out the materials based on price. 7th place receiving the most expensive at the time and 10th receiving the least.
***Materials of choice are: Wood Planks, Bones, Bolts of Cloth, and Iron

The prizes will NEVER decrease in amount. However if enough submit I reserve the right to increase the prizes! (Chances are I will only be adding prize value to honourable mentions)

JUDGES:
I will be judging these drawings along with my sister and two friends of mine. All of whom play guild wars and appreciate good and creative artwork. I may even seek more completely un-biased friends to judge if the four original judges can not decide.
We will be judging mainly on creativity. As stated above, quality of your art does not matter, though drawing well will certainly help your chances.

So tell me, that Canthan Ranger boy (lol sorry, played Jenna too much today - I tend to RP her when I'm alone, and she has a crazy thing for Rangers), if he could tame any non-tameable, reasonably easy-to-draw (not a Jade Armor, lol, and preferably waist-height?) beast, what would it be? (formulating image in head, just missing the critter)

Hmmm any non-tamable? I'd say a Ruby Djinn, but those are fairly tall... For waist-high I'd say a nightmare, perhaps an imp... or a kappa (the turtle-like creatures in factions) not sure if any of those are easy to draw, if you try and find it is too difficult I'm sure he (and I) wouldn't mind if you chose one yourself.

It can be your choice, (They all use an assortment of various things depending on what the build is...) but if you want specifics, based off of the main build they use therefor most used weapon:

Was out treasure hunting in Vabbi today... what would Mik think about one of those big old Tusked monkeys? I know they're huge... I was thinking a smallish juvenile one maybe. But it's up to you.

In Vabbi? Not sure I know any there, but do you mean the Tusked Howlers in Kourna? (Could be mistaken, I don't often play Nightfall anymore...)

Interesting if you do mean those... I never even gave thought to them, they are quite extraordinary! If you can do one of those that would be surely be okay with me, after-all, who wouldn't want a big gorilla with tusks? haha

Oh haha you are right... I was all over Elona yesterday, and I can never remember if Moddok Crevice is officially Kourna or Vabbi.

Oh good, because the other judges agreed that there is one prize per person.

Which element is she? I often go out with her as a nuker so fire, but when I write about her I usually make her an air elementalist. Is that what you mean?

Ofc we have to draw 1 of your chars at least, but can we draw one of our chars doing something as well in the pic? Like let's say...my ele Sashay Elegance swapping fashion tips with Zaila? lol I'm not gonna do that-it just came to the top of my head-but I had a perfect idea in mind with my main char Angel Of Slyness in the pic as well

Yes you can include any other characters, however you only receive the 2.5k bonus on any extra character of mine that you draw....

Oh my goodness I better get a move on... arghh... maybe I will work on this tomorrow instead of going to MOCA which I wasn't particularly interested in anyway.

I do have a rough thumbnail of what I'm planning, though, so there's a start.

Oh I wouldn't want you to cancel anything for this! If more time is needed I'll be more than ok with moving the deadline a bit further.
