I've no doubt we have a bunch of winners and HMs in this thread.
I'm anxious to see what the "outsiders" have come up with too though, there are always a couple of pretty cool surprises.

We're gonna be a part of the Horrorween party, so there's a perfectly good excuse for every future owner of a mini to get together and take a group pic!

I think we should take a group photo of every participant of this thread too, though. For memories' sake! ^.^

Also, will be posting more on this later, but due to the success of this thread I'm planning to set one up for Wintersday too.
Just telling you know so you can start thinking of awesome ideas

I really hope it isn't themed though, like the "design a weapon" stuff in the past. It would rule out a lot of cool ideas, and a lot of participants. You'd have to be good at 3D/illustration/the likes + design. :/

This price goes to the artist that, by my personal views, captures the spirit of Halloween most or qualifies for this price in the spirit of Halloween. The winner gets:
- 5 Mysterious Tonics (everybody needs a costume for halloween)
- 10 Sparklers (Draw attention to your amazing Costume)
- 10 Bottle Rockets (Great for a good scare at quite moments)
- 10 Champain Poppers (Open the Champain for a festive drink)

Def. Tzu and KiyaKoreena for top 2, unless some annoying non-Guru pops out of nowhere with a play-to-the-judges or something epically amazing. And yeah, Blue or zidane for 3rd, though I wouldn't rule out ravensong either (if he bothered to submit?).

I'm just praying that there's enough humor in mine for an Honorable Mention. I want one of those minis!

I can't even figure out how mine fits in with the rest here, no one else made 3D.

EDIT: I'd guess Tzu's first, then Kiya's, and Charlie's for 3rd.
Although, like I said before, it's ridiculously difficult comparing all these radically different styles of art. Categories ftw for next year! ^_^

I agree with Minami, Categories would definitely be a good idea. Not sure why they didn't think of that in the first place. Though, them picking an assortment of different styles to win would work too I suppose.

Yeah, if they implemented categories no one would have to complain about costumes always winning... would be nice.

If ANet would ever actually listen to us, I'd suggest that we write them to do this when they start doing GW2 contests... but we know how well that usually works.

Well, at the end of it I have to say, I loved reading this topic. Not only was it fun to get a preview of the winners (

) but it was really, really neat to get some insight into how all of the artists here, whether established or not, worked through their projects from start to finish. This topic was perfect, and I look forward to the Wintersday Workshop.

I, of course, hope I get at least an honorable mention. However, I certainly won't begrudge anyone for taking 'my' slot. There are a lot of very talented people here and I really can't name any entry posted here that I favor over the other.
