I'll actually post it on my alliance site later. I sent the picture using my second email, no failue mail for now, but it's a crap mail site one, so even if arenanet sends the failure message I'll probably just not recieve it (or recieve it after a pair of hours ><)

Since the deadline is about 5 minutes away, I'd like to take the time to say thanks to Tzu and all the workshop sponsors and judges for this thread.
It's been a lot of fun seeing how people's work progressed in so many different areas of art.
So... Thank you again, and awesome job everyone!

I hope it makes it through. Did you type in the address or click on the webpage? Maybe a mistype was the error?

I copy pasted it each time - way to be almost 100% sure not to not mistype.
Quite disappoing imho, even if i don't aim to any prize I lost quite some time to make the image to send...

Tried sending my entry for the past 20 minutes.. won't got through. Compressed the image, send a link, nothing works. Everything gets returned.
I am extremely bummed out.. I spent so long on my entry... Did they close the contest early or something?

Huh.. I had a typo in the subject line. It sent through this time, but it was a minute or two after deadline.. I hope that won't disqualify me
Here's my entry http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c4...weenTurtle.jpg
I was going to post progress pics but never quite got around to it. The best part is that the cannon actually works.. I hope that is apparent from the image!

EDIT2: gah, that last one got back too... The subject and the mail address are right though... how disappointing

Jeez, so many pieces to comment on.
@Tzu: nicely done! The outfit looks great. Hope you can find some time to take it out into a proper setting for a photo. And kudos to appealing to the fanboys.
@Blue: like I said before - very dynamic piece. Love the sense of depth, color and contrast. Really cool piece.
@Dyeane: Haha, the Halloween siege turtle is pretty funny. I like it, nice idea.
@Narcissia and Villnar: Have to say, these are probably one of the more unique ideas in comparison to the other forms of art in this contest. Nice replication of the consumables and damn a damn fine looking cake. Awesome work you two.
@Ravensong: Clever idea to re-invent that famous Baroque piece. Even though it's graphic design, it still looks as if it has impressionistic brush strokes. Not sure if you turned it in, but it's still a nice piece.
@Qing: Very playful looking. I like the simplicity of it. I like the strong lines and brush strokes you've used. Kind of reminds me of Chinese watercolor painting. Good work!
@Jasmine: Way to change the whole setting of your Guild Hall. This makes me jealous that I don't know how to do texmod. In any case, you completely revamped the previous setting to a definite Halloween atmosphere.
@Deatgs: Nice use of colors and pumpkins. I'm thinking you'll prob be in the running for "Most Pumpkiny"
Overall, great work from everyone. I'm hoping I didn't miss anyone - been busy with classes so I haven't been able to lurk this thread for the past few days. This contest was a lot of fun and I wouldn't mind seeing another one roll around for Christmas. And now comes the hard part - waiting for the results...

Woo contest is over. Hope everyone had fun.
Sorry to hear that some people's entries were not accepted by the automated mail system... that really sucks :<. I know I personally would have /RAGED if mine got sent back considering how long I spent XD.
Note to self, never send in contest entries last minute D:.
I get the feeling we might get quite a few winners from Nolani this year. Let's wait and see
Edit: oh what, extension? . Damn now there's mor- I mean, that's awesome

The contest has been extended until 5 pm PCT apparently because of e-mail clutter.
