Deadline is midnight on the 5th of November GMT, I guess technically that would be 00:00 on the 6th of November GMT. So tomorrow night. A little over 24 hours from now.

Okay, so, update: I procrastinated and played on the computer when I should have been working on the contest. This weekend, I had an archery tournament that basically ate up my free time. Now, when I was planning to work on it this week, I got sick. I've been trying to avoid sitting and staring at the comp.
In short, I'll be damn lucky if I have it done by the deadline.
I'm still going to finish it, because if it turns out as I hope it will I think it will be one of my best (and decidedly most dynamic) pieces ever. So I'll finish it sometime (hopefully this weekend), and I'll post it so you-all can see it. I'll have to wait for some other contest to get the money to hold my own (serves me right for only wanting the money to be an art wh0re anyway).
Good luck to all the remaining contestants! I'm excited to see what everyone else comes up with.

Due to repeated begging requests, and the occasional bout of illness I have decided to allow people a further 24 hours with which to complete their works.
This is not a cop out, the ecto will still be given out, and it will still be given out by the tenth of November anyway so no one is losing out in any way shape or form.
LOVING the work so far people, thanks for all of your efforts. x <3 x

Wow. I might just be able to get this done, then. Thanks!
EDIT: ...Or not. I just realized that that's 4 pm for me, which is less than 2 hours after I get out of school. But I hope this means more other people will get their stuff done!

Great submission, Raven. When you work in that type of style, do you add the watercolor first or after you lay down the ink lines? Just asking because it looks so precise and clean - something I really like seeing.

I added the watercolor after the drawing was done.
Same as the commissions.
But i do it both ways usually, all depends on the mood.
And thx.

I'm a big fan of Chinese watercolor/calligraphy (broken record), so I really dig your ink wash paintings. I was really curious to know if you put the paint down after, yet kept the paint from running with the ink.
In any case; hell yeah for precise-ness.

So many great entries! I have to say I like Charlie's, ravensong's and zidane's entries the most. They really have an intense feeling to them, and they are so well drawn. It's fun seeing how people perceived the doppelganger and how there are so many different versions of it (almost as many as there are different player characters).
Good luck to everyone!

Yupp, good luck to all!
*makes a note to hand draw something next time*
So many awesome entries, and as Perynne said, very interesting to see all the different doppelganger versions.
I'm hoping to place, then I'd have some money to buy my sister a nice bday present in-game too. Being poor in GW sucks >_<

Great entries, everybody! I can't decide on my favorites...
Interesting to see all the different doppels, too. Glad I'm not the only one who thought of a more human doppel. Minami, you and I seem to have been thinking along the same lines, with a "darker self" type doppel. (You'll see what I mean when I put mine up - either this weekend or later on, depending on how insistent my friends are on leveling my shammy this weekend.)
Good luck to all in the judging!
(Oh, and thanks Zamochit for the whole idea... I'm sorry my procrastination kept me from entering, but it's a great challenge for me nonetheless, and I know I'll enjoy drawing it.)

Well Ive been using uniPin black one-use rapidograph (it says its "water and fade proof"), it doesnt smudge at all, but when you apply the water it becomes a bit grayish so I redo some lines after Im done with watercolors.
Im avoiding my ink refill rapidograph when using the watercolors since the ink always runs when water is applied.
Thats basically it.
And thx all.
