It never said Kalla Scorchrazor led the conquest of Ascalon. She led the rebellion against the Shaman Caste. Also, the Ecology of the Charr seems to go in chronological order - and it mentions the fall of Ascalon City before Kalla. Implying that the Charr was fighting two wars at once - a Civil War, and the war against the Ascalonians.
Besides, Adelbern, 30 years after the start of the war, would have been 89. If it was 40 years after EotN, he would have been 109. If the fall of Ascalon was after the fall of the Shaman Caste, than he would have been older than that.

Payne then travelled to Elona and became legendary amongst the sunspears helping them to vanquish all evil foes from the lands of Elona, then venturing into the rift and doing battle with the evil god Abbadon.
After his success with the Sunspear armies Payne travelled to the war-torn Cantha were he allied with the Luxons and tried but unfortunately failed to mend frays with them Kurzicks; after this unfortunate failings he travelled through the whirlpools of the Unwaking waters before travelling back the Kaineng city and doing battle with the evil traitor Shiro Tagachi.
After all this success and world renowned fame Payne travelled back to his homeland of Tyria and settled down in the Watchtower coash with his girlfriend "Ab" and lived out his remaining years raising his offspring and keeping the idylic Watchtower coast free from evil Mergoyles and other evil beings.

Quick, the role-play mobile!
IC:
40 years after the events of the Great Destroyer...
Joseph walked along the sandy, hot beaches of Kryta. He fired an arrow in jest at a skale that wandered into his path, firing a few (Less in jest) when the brood attacked. A minor threat at most, and Joseph had finished them in a matter of moments. And yet he felt... tired. An old Luxon proverb came to mind...
Even the greatest warrior succumbs to his greatest foe... his own body.
Joseph looked at his reflection in the cool waters of the bay. He was old now. His red hair was growing silver. He turned to glance at his near-lifelong companion, Shadow. Shadow was, of course, looking as young as ever. Phoenixes typically did. Joseph knew that when he did, eventually, lay down his bow for the final time, Shadow's age would catch him. Joseph knew Shadow would choose to die with him.
As the winds picked up, Joseph recalled his ten years total of training with the Oracle, Glint and Turai Ossa. He had gone shortly after the battle with the Great Destroyer, perfecting his abilities. He had afterward destroyed Kaanaxi, (Single-handedly slaying the Leviathan-a popular story among the Luxons) Urgoz, and many powerful foes. The training with the Oracle had given him a limited prophetic ability-he could manipulate the visions at his hall's scrying pool. He had seen Primordius awaken... and yet knew that when it happened, he would be too spent to fight himself. The thoughts of his people, the Luxons, and the Ascalonians facing the peril they would brought a tear to his eye at that moment.
Joseph knew he had to leave.
-------------------------
Joseph approached the Temple of the Ages. He knelt before each of the shrines, assembling the caretakers, messengers and servants of each god, beseeching them.
"I have fought threats on this world worthy of note even to the five gods. I toppled an outcast from their midsts, and instated a sixth god. I now ask for my single payment for these actions... I must go to the mists... forever. I do not wish death, not yet. I wish to live a few hundred years in the Mists first. Then I will pass with honor into the Hall of Heroes."
It was done. Joseph, with only his armor, his Storm Bow, his sword and his companion Shadow, transported to the Mists... where his true training would begin.
OoC:
Well I think toppling a god gives me a bit of leverage with the other five, eh?

Hmm. Here's what I think will happen to my main:
After traveling across Tryia and battling the Lich King, Exploring the vastness of Cantha and bringing 2 waring nations together, stopping a plague and defeating shiro, Leading a group of heroes through forest, desert, wasteland and Demonic Realm to defeat a dark god, and then being bgrought into a battle between 2 ancient races and saving the word from the great destroyer, X Dervashah X was finally finished saving the world. He took up the smaller things, like questing and searching for titles, but one day he came across a book, it showed him where to find the avatars of Abaddon and Kormir. He trecked through fire, forest and ice. Eventually he battled with the avatars, using his capture signets to obtain these powerful skills. He tried first the avatar of kormir, the area was blasted with light and he became all knowing. Then, to his misfortune he tried the avatar of Abaddon, becoming Abaddon's avatar he exploded with a mass force and died. His soul now rests at his hall of monuments. Before his will turned to madness he did have a very strong relationship with Gwen, they had a child. This is all that X Dervashah X now leaves behind apart from his Hall Of Monuments which is locked up and snowed in because of his tormented, dark soul haunting it.
I think that's what happens xD good story though eh? very brief. i think

Warchief Nightblade ~Assasin
After his heroic exploits in Cantha, Tyria and Elona; he and his band returned to Cantha to excavate artifacts and ruins in and around the Jade Sea. Tragically, the group was besieged by a Leviathan they uncovered and it killed all but Nightblade. Although he defeated the Leviathan, it cost him most of his closest allies, and his right eye. Grief stricken, he hopped a ship to Elona and bought a home for himself in Vabbi. He settled down and wrote, "The Manuscripts of a Warchief." When Joko resumed his attack, he retrieved his tormented daggers from his cellar, gave away his possessions and home, and vanished into the Desolation with the resolve to end Joko. His fate is unknown.
Warchief Thrallan ~Ranger
Blood brother to Nightblade, they parted ways after their journeys through Northern Tyria. Being a native Ascalonian, he returned to Fort Ranik and built a new stable for all his new animal allies. In his time back in Ascalon, he bonded more and more with his companions until he cast away his bow and fastened the claws of some raptors he encountered in the north on his hands, and became the first Beast Master. Realizing that Ascalon City was going to fall to the charr, he rushed to it with all his companions to the besieged city. Fighting with the fury of the beasts he had come to love, they held off the advancing charr for hours until his last companion had fallen. Blinded by rage and sorrow, he charged through the line slaughtering charr until he fell mortally wounded. Dying on the ground, his life blood surging out of his side, he sent a plea to Melandru to let him become a part of Tyria. Grenth gave Melandru his spirit, and she shaped it into that of a Lynx while depositing him near the Henge of Denravi. The great spirit of the Warchief now resides in Maguma Jungle, helping lost and weary travelers find their way.

This is kind of neat, and I had fun wondering what would happen with my characters.
--
Farai Savitri (Dervish)
Despite being a native of Istan, when everything was said and done, she chose to settle in Vabbi. She had been offered leadership of the Sunspear Order but turned it down, and instead became the leader of a small group of Sunspears who chose to make their home in Vabbi. While she taught young Sunspear trainees who wished to learn the arts of a Dervish the basics of fighting with a scythe, as well as the magic that a Dervish uses, she largely put her weapons away. She also served as a Priestess of Lyssa.
There was one thing that Farai could never do, though, and that was stand aside without a fight. When Palawa Joko began his conquest of Elona, she did not hesitate to pick up her scythe again. With the blessings of her goddess and her small group of Sunspears at her back, she went back into battle, determined to stop this undead army from destroying her home. She was ultimately unsuccessful, though; her group was vastly outnumbered by Joko's army and quickly destroyed. She herself managed to cut down a large number of the undead, using her magic to strike at them with holy attacks, but was killed by Joko while attempting to cast a spell.
It is unknown whether or not she had any children; if she did, they do not bear her name. But every so often someone hears word of a chocolate-skinned, greyish-purple haired and eyed Dervish who handles a scythe as though born to it hassling the Mordant Crescent and stating that the Sunspears will never be fully defeated.
Yui Kuromiya (Assassin)
Having always been a more solitary sort, Yui made her home in relative seclusion near what had formerly been Minister Cho's estate before the plague broke out. She did marry and have a child; while she was disappointed that her daughter did not follow her path to become an Assassin and instead favored Air Magic, she still made sure that her child was trained and sent her to Shing Jea Monastery, where Yui herself had trained, to become an Elementalist. Her ultimate fate is unknown; growing restless with Cantha, she went back to wandering the world, and was last seen in Kryta.
Lucia Cheval (Mesmer)
Lucia returned home to Ascalon City; despite everything that had happened, it was still her birthplace, her home, and she was glad to be back there. Her gentle personality and general patience made her ideal for dealing with students, and quickly she became a trainer for aspiring Mesmers. She married a fellow Mesmer and they had two children - twins, a son and a daughter. Their son shared the magical aptitudes of his parents though his talents went in a different direction and he was trained as a Monk, while their daughter discovered a love of the sword and trained to be a Warrior.
Lucia was at home in Ascalon City with her husband when it came under attack. The two called upon their magic to defend their home, but perished in the fight. To this day, Lucia's ghost still walks the streets of Ascalon City, hexing anyone living that dares enter the ruins. The fates of her children are unknown, though descendents bearing her name still exist.

Ooh, fun! It's always nice to put my ideas on paper (okay, screen, whatever). Totally have had this planned forever:
Qing Guang (Rit): Dedicated her life to Dwayna, retiring from Adventuring to reclaim Zhengjo Temple from the mantids and transform it into Her sacred place in Shing Jea. She served her goddess to the last, spreading Her word and healing the people of all the islands near Shing Jea.
Gui Qiang (Necro #1 - see avvy): Became more obsessed with Grenth, gathering other local Benign Disciples into the Order of Our Lord Grenth's Benign Disciples in Cantha and arranging for the construction of a temple on the edge of the Echovald. There, she continued to work on her lifelong goal of eliminating the inherent degeneration of undead minions, trying to recover the knowledge that was lost with the death of Verata. She was never able to completely cure it, but she and her followers were eventually able to greatly slow its start and progress, allowing their creations to survive for months, even a few years with regular infusions of blood. A week before what would be her thirtieth birthday, she mysteriously became ill and died within the week. On her deathbed, she reportedly said, "At last, beloved, I can come live in your house!"
Xuta and Hineli Ahnenjei (Monk and Ele #1, respectively): Returned home (to the Star Wars 'verse, that is); Elly met her stepfather and half-siblings for the first time, and Xu was reunited with her family. Elly returned to HER birthverse (HP), dragging her mother with her, and forcing her parents to confront their actions. Naturally, it was an awkward moment when Xu met Asteria (step-mother), but after explaining that she was married and lived elsewhere, she enjoyed meeting old friends again. Elly did move in with her mother, but within a year, she, like other Travelers, grew restless. She tried to return to Tyria, but forgot to specify the time frame, and arrived 250 years after she had left. Mourning for her long-dead companions, she tries to make sense of the changed world...
Jennarose Mashaba (Ele #2): Jenna, now consumed by her thirst for knowledge, continued to travel the world seeking to learn more. In the Maguuma, she met and had a brief fling with a Ranger, resulting in her daughter Annalily. She heard of a few new threats but felt it was time to leave the saving of the world to younger adventurers (much to her later regret). Besides, she had a child to raise; she brought the girl up in the wilderness, and Anna soon grew to fight by her side as a fellow Elementalist. This would become a tradition in the Mashaba family, up to the current Mashaba, Clarabelle. Due to her isolation from the world, Jenna died after being poisoned by a Skale; no healers could be found to save her, so Anna stood by her side, comforting her in her final moments.
Medea the Younger and Ebia Okoro (Mez and Derv, respectively): Were married in a simple ceremony at the Guild Hall, with all the guild invited. Jamma the Heartless, Medea's good friend, attended but did not give her blessing, having never approved of what she referred to as Medea's "tastes". The couple adopted a Kournan orphan and named him Orpheus Okoro; he would grow into a fine young Paragon and join the Sunspears. Medea had also joined the Order, and the pair continued to fight for Elona's well-being for much of their lives, only retiring in their mid-seventies [I'm assuming GW people live longer because of healers]. However, with the rise of Palawa Joko, they took up arms again alongside their son, making a final stand in Turai's Procession. They died in each other's arms, but Orpheus was able to escape and lead a small band of Sunspears into hiding in the caverns of Vabbi. From there, they worked to regain their strength and help those trapped under Joko's rotting thumb.
Tiye Nishi (Necro #2): Achieved her goal of becoming a Vabbian Prince(ss). She stepped away, temporarily, from her family's focus on feather trading to gain a complete monopoly on ink, forcing the other Princes to accept her. She took her companion Chino Hills as a consort, reigning with an eye for trade and a masterful sense of showmanship without Bokka's gaudiness. When Joko took over Vabbi, however, she was too elderly and weak to fight (her addiction to the hallucinogenic Iboga petals had deepened, leaving her completely dependent); instead, she had the doors to her palace walled up, choosing to die on her throne alone (Chino had passed away a few years earlier). Her children fled for the caves, eventually encountering Orpheus and taking refuge with him.
Simone Abdelmalak (Para): Retired from service in her mid-thirties, having never had the heart for fighting. She moved back to her homeland of Kourna, working with the Sunspears to rebuild the nation and helping the farming villages to recover. There, she settled in Arkjok Ward as the village doctor. Despite her earlier fling with her friend and fellow Paragon Father C. "Cal" Calhoun, she ended up marrying a young Kournan man but bearing no children. Late in life, she contracted an illness from one of her patients, and due to her weak immune system, not even her healing abilities could save her. The villagers erected a small marker for her near the lake.
Jiyu Sakurai (Ranger): Spent years cleaning up after Shiro's mess. Once the last remnants of the plague were gone from Cantha, she turned to aiding the situation of Kaineng's massive lower class. She strongly advocated for renovating the slums and encouraging more people to live in the countryside, but she could not stop the inevitable expansion of urban Kaineng. When her beloved tiger Yuki died, some twenty years after he had aided in Shiro's downfall, she retreated to the wilds on the border of the Echovald and disappeared entirely. It appears that she allowed herself to wither away, dying within a few years of her self-imposed banishment.
Summary:
Qing - Died of old age, line ends.
Gui - Died young (summoned by Grenth?), line ends? (maybe Lejja Tam - Asura - will be Benign Disciple and hence spiritual successor?).
Xuta - Left universe, children are Travelers and may return with Elly
Elly - Left universe, no children yet but returns for GW2.
Jenna - Died by poison (Devourer attack), line continues to GW2 with Clarabelle Mashaba.
'Dea - Slain in combat (shot), line may continue through Orpheus Okoro's descendants.
Ebia - Slain in combat (enchants rent), line may continue through Orpheus Okoro's descendants.
Tiye - Died by starvation (walled in throne room), line may continue with Nefertiti Nishi (?).
Simmy - Died from illness, line ends.
Jiyu - Disappeared after death of pet, probably died of illness/starvation/wounds, line ends.

General Mordanious (W/R) traveled to the Southern Shiverpeaks, where he built a house out of the mountain stone and lived there to clear away the hordes of monsters that live there. He became so adept at fighting that he was able to gain r12 in Strength, axe-, sword- and hammer mastery, as well as tactics. This gift was granted to him by Balthazar because Mordanious created a statue of Balthazar made from the skulls of his slain foes. Eventualy Balthazar pulled him into the FoW to become the general of his arm to smite the hordes of Menzies. (he also kept up his Legendary Survivor till he reached the FoW)

Valkyrie Mx (Elementalist)
Since she is my main, all of the secondaries are gonna help her... kinda.
After years of traveling, Valkyrie opened in the shiverpeaks an academy where, with the help of her friends (Anya Shadowheart (A/D), Alex the Juggernaut (W/), Anyanka the Brave (P/W), Lucian Blackarrow (R/), Morrigann Aensland (N/) and Scarlett De Votion (Me/N)) she trained all the people willing in the arts of the elements and other powerful arts.
She decided it was time to settle down, so she married Alex and had babies with him: 2 girls and a boy.
After many years of training youngsters and whatnot, at the age of 50 years, she decided it was her time to leave the living ones realm. An air of nostalgy filled her mind and she went to her old dear ascalon, which by that time was totally destroyed by the charrs, who were permacamping there.
She started killing scouts, freezing them to crystals and shattering them with lightnings, wave after wave, charrs started coming from every near camp and she stood all the attacks, after several days of continuous battle, she fainted, only to realize a few days after that she was a prisoner, just like Gwen were.
And it was there, when a high priest charr told her that they were going to track her steps, to kill any kind of living being related to her. Suddenly a mysterious glow glimmered in her eyes, it was the essence of all and every elemental lord she fought through decades, their loved ones were in danger and she wouldn't let that happen.
Clouds started gathering and winds were chilling through flesh and bone, a lightning storm began and charr knew what was causing it.
They promptly ran to her cell only to find her in a trance, with her skin becoming obsidian and ice, in a transparent smokey form... it was then when she released every bit of power left in her: a freezing wave of crystals that destroyed everything in a 10 mile radius, leaving behind a winter that lasted many years.

Ik Breek Je Nek *called Breek for shorts* (Warrior)
After saving the world of Tyria from the threaths of the Lich, the return of The Betrayer; Shiro Tagachi, Golems that went haywire, the Destroyers, The Stone Summit Dwarves, and even The Forgotten God; Abbadon, and Breek was hailed as a hero.
They all knew him, but few have met the Legendary Warrior in person.
Many years have passed, and like many great legends, the people started to doubt over time if Breek's legend was true. After all, many legends have their roots in Myth. The truth is, after Breek's victory over The Great Destroyer, he left the surface world, and went underground. Trough his travels across the world, Breek learned a lot about The True Gods, and their control over the worlds. He found out that the Gods created "The Hall of Heroes", to seal away great, mighty heroes, instead to honor them. The Gods where afraid that if Heroes find out what they are really up to, the Heroes would rally the people to revolt against Them. Breek knew, if he went underground, the Gods couldn't do anything against him. In his years of hiding, Breek has learned powerful magic, spells that He could use to enter the dimensions of The Gods. He wanted to put an end to The Gods control over the world, by going to their dimensions and slay them himself. Breek also knew, that after the defeat of The Great Destroyer, all those years ago, he awakened "ancient evils", evils that rival the power of The Gods, so he knew he had to hurry, because he was the only one that could stop The Gods. After learning one more spell from Freezie, that made him more resistant against the great, divine power of The Gods, he started with his journey to Their realms. He first battled Balthazar, because Balthazar was the only God that could rival Breek's enormous power.
Eventually, after a long, blazing clash, Balthazar was killed, making Breek even more powerful. He then traveled to the other Gods, killed them, and also gained their powers.
Breek, thinking he was victorius, found out that the deaths of The Gods caused the "ancient evils" to awaken, one by one. Those evils, in the forms of great Dragons, where said to rival the power of The Gods. But in fact, the Dragons where much, MUCH stronger. Breek, realizing what he did, tried to stop the Ancient Dragons. He tried, but eventually, Breek succumbed to the Dragons brutal power.
Ironicly, the Legendary Warrior, who saved the world all those years ago, now led to it's comming destruction.
And this is where the story of Ik Breek Je Nek ends

After years of war we finally managed to free the Kurzick lands from the Luxon invaders. Turtles no longer roam towards Fort Aspenwood. While a peace agreement was never signed the Kurzicks and Luxons rarely cross borders again and they finally respected each others forces and territories.
During these years the defences were lowered and many of the lands have been rebuilt. This ultimately became a fatal mistake when suddenly the armies of Emperor Usoku were marching into Kurzick territories. The first towns fell without much resistance. Even the mighty House zu Heltzer was left empty when we fled towards the last bastion: Fort Aspenwood. Initial battles were won. During the years of peace we managed to mine a great quantity of Amber to fuel the Vengeance of the Gods. But the Kaineng armies returned in even greater numbers that we simply could not match. This is where I was defeated; during the final battle at Fort Aspenwood.
By today Fort Aspenwood lies shattered. Hardly anybody dares to enter it's remains. Legend speaks of the Vengeance of the Gods, in form of the spirits of the fallen Kurzicks that still haunt here.

Countess of Carnage, who received that title for her terrifying experiments on captured Charr, didn't die a glorious death; she withered away with old age. With weakened bones and a failing liver, her body finally failed her. She was 63 years old.
After the fall of the Great Destroyer, she devoted much of her time to assisting her beloved Krytans with food, medicine and other supplies from all over Tyria. Her new found connections with the Asura gave her access to key warp gates to allow fast travel, which became more important with the increased pirate activity in the Sea of Sorrows.
As her riches from across the lands increased, and the hordes of undead around Lion's Arch decreased, she eventually settled into a nice village in the North Kryta Province, where she furthered her research in necromancy and other arcane arts. As time went on, she started to lose mobility and required the aid of servants - or, minions. Her ghoulish aides created much discomfort among the locals, especially since they had finally rid themselves of the Lich's mess of undead. She was forcibly removed from her home and exiled from Kryta. While the exile was not decreed by the monarchy, and Countess could have pleaded with Queen Salma, she chose to move on.
She eventually settled down deep in Majesty's Rest, making a home out of the ruins that once housed the most feared bone dragon in all of tyria, Rotscale. The fruits of her research had supplied her with undead servants that do not degrade with time - essentially, immortal drones. By then, however, she had discovered her failing liver.
For three years, Countess of Carnage tried to find a cure or some way to reverse the damage. In that time, her loneliness consumed her, as well as the fear that she would have no one to pass on her bloodline. With her final necromantic spell, she raised a minion with tremendous power, durability, and even a sense of intelligence. This was her child. It was undead, sure, but it was hers - it was made with drops of her own blood. A few days later, she passed on, and the minion buried her body nearby.
The minion still lives, 250 years later, standing as a guard over her tomb. It is instructed to slay any who pose a danger to her. Inside the tomb are Countess's memoirs and spellbooks.

Ranger (Archress Shayleigh [Main])- Driven mad by boredom, Shayleigh decided to go wild. She dressed as a Tengu and lives with the Quezels of the Tarnished Coast. When she got old she died and Tengu ate her. Folk say she hadn't died- only her humanity did, and she lives to this day as the most beastly Tengu of all; Shaughi The Unforgiving.
Paragon (Yawku Otherneeds)- Took control of the Norn, and got assassinated after being elected ruler of the Norn.
Assassin (L I T E Stalker)- Hid in a cave in the Ring of Fire islands after Emperor Kisu made some moves on him.
Necromancer (Calyssa Deathspawn)- Committed suicide.
Warrior (Soho Teh P W N E R)- Rebuilt Ascalon and it's throne, declared himself king, killed a few hundred thousand Charrs, ruled over the Charr Shamans and conquered all of Tyria! (Then his son, his name yet unknown died from a horrible sickness. Soho couldn't take it any more so he drowned himself and made the Lichs spawn, Licha, take his throne and destroy all that we know and love.)
Elementalist (Sapho Silksqueezer)- Died a horrible death in torture after being accused of betraying king Soho (Lmao Soho and Sapho were never good brothers). Legend says that Sapho and L I T E are those who assassinated Yawku, and were sent by Haruj (The new Master of Whispers)- Jurah's (The old Master of Whispers) brother.

My Assassin, Dead Serious Sin, ventures into the mists to seek immortality after all his momentous achievements defeating the likes of The Lich, Shiro Tagachi, and Abbadon. He ventures in with his team of heroes and only one returns. The Warrior Koss, tells stories and tales of him, and he lives in history forever as The Legendary guardian (my title)
My Ritualist becomes the new leader of the Shing Jea monastery, replacing master togo, and teeches his ways before sadly passing away early because of a disease called "Tengu Flu" (i found it funny:L) and becomes a ledgend.
My Necromancer becomes Hellbent on ridding the world of people he deems not worthy to be in it. He summons a minion army and attacks the palaces of the three princes of vabbi, destroying them all. Afterwards he then makes his way to The temple of ages, and knocks down all of the statues of the gods, but doing so ends up permanently being taken into the Fissure of Woe, serving Balthazar as a slave for eternity.
Thats what i would hope
