eeks' Little Pieces
I mean that, as I am too tardy to draw in a higher resolution. :'(
Anyhow. Uh, hi!
Old stuff:

Most recent:
I've only recently begun drawing again - my laptop I usually worked on crashed and died along with a hefty amount of unfinished stuff, which dissuaded me from drawing, until yesterday. My eyes are still burning from drawing my ritualist, but I'm in drawing mode, so I'll probably churn out some stuff over the next few days.
I plaaaaan on doing commissions if anyone's interested, but not until I've gotten back into the routine of drawing again.
That aside, hope you like~

Oh dear. XD
Well, I'll probably start up commissions in a week or two. For the moment, I think I just need to practice. Had a uh, bit of trouble on an unrelated site where I was taking waaay too many commissions.
Glad to see interest, though~

Very nice work, I love seeing your improvements. (Although tbh your '04 ones weren't that bad to start with!) As everyone else has said we'd love commissions, I've had another crazy idea of mine but we'll see how it goes. I'll be stalking you....=P

Hahaha. Good times. :P
I am just working on close friends' characters and my own at the moment, just so I can be accustomed to making quick work of things. Am completely out of practice, which is why there aren't vast iprovements between years. I only ever draw every few months. ;(
I will be opening up commissions in a couple of weeks' time, if you guys are still interested.
Am working on my friends' necromancer now
I'd be working faster on this, had my boyfriend not been over drawing wangs all over the picture. Bastard. :P
Just done a little more to it, moved the eye inwards, and lowered it, as I thought it was too high. Namely the brow, that is. Think I will be changing with overall face shape as well.
Getting back into the hang of blending now, took far longer with my ritualist pic. >_<
I love drawing make-up, haha. Excuse the rambling, hope nobody minds.

I'd recommend you work on the image as a whole first and not get too wrapped up in detailing one single focus.

Thanks much for the tips~
It's a bad habit of mine, detailing an area when I get bored of the entire picture. I've completely reworked the face though.
Quite a uh, change. This piece is driving me insane as it looks more in proportion, but less like her character. I'll get it, sooner or later. >_>

ooh, I like your art. Despite being lineless it's very clean and sharp. I hope I can afford your prices if you decide to start a commission thread xD

Aw, thanks~ I only started doing lineless stuff recently, and found it more enjoyable. Much more freedom, I think... Though I tend to make the image a lot smaller than it originally was. XD
This'll probably be my last update before I finish it. I think I should shorten her face somewhat. Gonna rework that stupid swirl in her hair too, I hate drawing that hairstyle. XD
As for pricing, I think I'm just going to allow the commissioner to pay what they think it's worth. Tips, I believe. I'm virtually clueless about pricing. :\

Excuse me for having left this to stagnate. The save file for the above picture corrupted and I've had artist's block ever since. >_<
Am starting back up, though. (: Frustrating as it is.
Quite rough at the moment, but my elementalist. My boyfriend thinks he looks disgusted, but I.. tried to make him smile. He ended up looking like a raging pedophile. XD
I'm aware of how startled he looks - I'll get around to fixing his eyes. >_>
If anyone's able to help, what brush do you guys use for smoother effects? I currently use the brush Ive got on the corner of the picture. :x
--
This is as far as I got with the other thing, before photoshop shot me in the foot.
I'm sorry for having run off from the possibility of starting up commissions. Artist's block (as you call it) is horrible. >_>

For skin which I assume you want the smoother effect for; keep with the one you have. I use a very similar one for skin. It both lays down colour and keeps a nice texture while blending, remember skin is never smooth completely unless you want them ending up looking like a waxwork. If you really want smoothness you can't beat the good ol' "fluffy round" brush. Just keep your stroke light.

Yeah, I don't want it too smooth, just a little smoother around the shadows. I'll just knock down the opacity, I suppose, though it's rather low as is.
Much appreciated.

No problem at all. Also maybe try painting shadows on the same layer as the skin? Maybe that's where the blending is going screwy. I used to stick eyes and shadows and noses etc on different layers, I think it all looked a lil weird. I had a lil look at the pic, I assume it's the male ele one. I think the problem is the shadow is waaay too harsh, just keep it subtle for that kind of lighting.
