I always used CC instead of CnC, CC = Constructive Criticism, as far as I know.
Are these two obviously different to people, or do people use them for the same thing?
It kind of is the same thing, really... But it depends on how you define "constructive criticism" I guess.

I also had another go at the body/facepaint, comments and criticism very welcome.
Check out the new blog entry for the details, as usual.
I also always read every comment I get on my blog, too!

Thanks!
Is gonna take me a couple hours to put on this costume I think... XD
Especially with the facepaint, blending the colours takes quite a lot of time.

Blue: I would welcome comments and crits from you.
Minami: I'd be happy to offer some comments and crits but I would like to see you composite your figures first to see what direction the composition takes.
Tzu: that helmet looks awesome! Keep it going!

Thanks! Haha, keeps me wanting to work on the costume even more, but I cant cus of exam >.<''......... oh well, will get back to it soon enough.
And Eragon; I guess it looks kinda mayan. One thing I noticed while making the cuirass and the crown was how extremely Elonian/"Nightfallian" the details are. The avatars are certainly shaped after the campaign, perhaps more so than the Gods/Godesses themselves.

Wow Tzu, that looks awesome. From what I can tell, I think this is gonna' top your Jora outfit. I think it would be a crime for you not to enter the official contest.

Indeed Charlie.
Tzu, that is incredibly impressive work. I cannot see you taking anything less than the top spot if you enter.

Hi Lorenna,
Thanks for responding. I want you to know I've been giving your crit a lot of thought. I did in fact try to do that stance and Yes it hurt! .....though luckily, I was able to keep my balance. Okay, so you have a point. I've beening giving this pose a lot of thought and have been researching some yoga poses. I even talked with my exercise instructor who also teaches yoga. There is a pose very much like this called the goddess pose (see links below) and I'm going to take a leap of faith here and presume this character is limber and agile enough to perform this pose quite naturally and keep her balance. I rather like the look of the pose with the curves and the dynamism it creates so I have decided to leave it unchanged. I do thank you for taking the time to point it out, however. It really forced me to go back and think if what I was painting was realistic enough.
You actually may have been concerned about the orientation of her left foot which is pointed inwards. I thought in my mind that her foot might be planted inwards so that the side of the foot could dig in and give her a firmer footing... though, I'm undecided about whether this is quite correct. In the end I may make it more pigeon toed like we see in the poses below. Huh, did I do this topic to death? Sorry, I love nerding out on this stuff.

Yet another goddess pose
Goddess pose with child. I think she's the most flexible of them all!

Progress for today:
Still have a couple skills I need to make the frames for and hang up. Then its time to finish my poor tuskless wallow. And 3 dozen candy canes have shrunk to a dozen. Need to buy more this weekend.
